Hey everyone! I'm sure you know who I am, hopefully. I'm the guy who made Studio 60 SaveCast. Anyways, I got an email today asking me if I knew anyway we could get some studio to bring back Studio 60. This got me thinking...Why did we give up? So, the link above this is the new petition to bring back Studio 60. Sign it, and check out studio60savecast.blogspot.com for more information on Studio 60 things.

Nothing wrong with being a little Quixotic. You never know, Considering how bad things are going for NBC these days they may decide to go for it.

i'm pretty sure the whole cast would change, but sure, lets give it one more try!

first of all, i'd like to say i'm a big fan of the show, and i would like nothing more than to see the show back.
I admire the petition, and will happily sign it if it means it'll help.

I just think petitions aren't an effective method of action. I think they would rather see results. Think of all the shows that have been canceled, but brought back. The only one that i can think of is family guy (if anyone knows of any other shows, please let me know)

it was brought back b/c it grew in popularity when it was syndicated on cartoon network.

With this said, i think we should also show them that this show would be welcomed by a LOT of people, basically that it'll get good ratings and people watching. to do this, i had two ideas. See if you can get some tv network to show the old episodes on syndication, and hope that it reaches a bigger audience and people will swoon over it.

OR, it's sorta already on syndication on the Hulu network online. I think if a huge amount of people were watching it on Hulu, then that might show network execs that this show will succeed and that they should give it a second chance. I remember i had bought the DVD's for the show (to help show support for the show that I would buy the dvd's) and when i found out they were on hulu, i would watch it and rewatch it, just so i would get a hit on the website.

But the petition is a good start, it's a good way to make some noise. However, the petition has to be a huge list of signatures, and i'm talking, more than tens of thousands, for it to even catch the attention of the network execs. so get everyone you know to sign it, encourage friends to watch the show, get them hooked on it (like we all are), and have them show their friends and sign the petition. The shows are on hulu, so it'll be easier to spread the love, also, it'll help by showing that people are watching it on hulu based by the number of times people watch it.(assuming they have a way of monitoring it)

so yes, that's my two cents. I hope you guys agree. any critiques are welcome. i was excited when i found this forum b/c there was some people with whom i could talk to about this show. lol. but at that point, it seemed like most of the chatter had died down.

anyway, i commend you for starting the petition. Let's mobilize and spread the love of studio 60.

Studio 60 was one of my FAVORITE shows and NBC was really stupid to cancel it. NBC just cancels good shows. It makes no sense at all.

Greetings, posters and Hi Lava... glad to see you're still hanging in there. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hard to believe yesterday was two years since the end of Studio 60. Spent part of the day watching the DVD. I'm suprised how often the topic comes up on my Twitter. Probably no chance of gathering everyone together again, but why not try?

It's been a while since I logged into here, grateful I am able to because I am not able to log into Studio 60 SaveCast at the moment. Trying everything I can to log in. Seems an email address of mine has disappeared.
