I just saw the "Hello, Claire" promo. Very tasty.

What I hear from that video is "Tell her, Claire".

Definitely "Hello, Claire."

Eerily reminiscent of a certain Doctor with a thing for kidney's and Chianti.

I saw it on TV. It aired during the Wimbledon gentlemen's final.

Supposedly Sylar is working with HRG, so I wonder what he'l do with Claire...

Probably taunt her every chance he gets, let her know precisely what he's going to do to her, and then wait until whatever job brought him and Noah together is finished. Then he'll try to kill her.

If Sylar and HRG are really working together, it means that HRG needs the help of someone of Peter/Sylar's combo of powers to fight the new Villains. Sylar would do it if it meant he could take the powers of any of these other villains he kills, and it also does bring him closer to Claire possibly. HRG could NOT stop him if he tried to take Claire's power, we saw how easy it was in "5 Years Gone", just TK to lock her in place and she's toast.

The question is, could Sylar resist taking Claire's power, even in the potential name of good? We will see...

All this interesting speculative talk is going to make me faint! *squeeee!* I must go watch it again!!!

In the potential name of good? Nope. In the name of expediency? We've already seen him curb his instincts long enough to pursue a specific objective.

And HRG has already proven that he can stop Sylar from killing, as long as he's present.

I think to reach his goals Sylar will refrain from taking Claire's abilities, after that he'll be back after them.

Agreed! My evilkins is a smarty pants and he will do what he needs to get ahead, but yeah, that doesn't mean he won't come back for Claire.

Um, HRG able to stop Sylar? Without the Haitian or some other way to block Sylar's powers? No way! End of season 1, Sylar just TK's HRG across Kirby Plaza and prevents him from helping Peter. Then, Sylar chokes Peter and ALSO stops Matt's 4 bullets in mid-air and shoots them back at him?

Without the Haitian, I don't think HRG can stop Sylar.

Sylar can be taken just as much by surprise as anyone else.

True, Mohinder DID drug him in Season 1 when he pretended to be Zane Taylor, and Hiro DID stab him in the finale even though Sylar saw him and said "You!"

But when Sylar makes the first move, it is almost always lethal. Now seeing the power of his TK to hold people in place, he should just do that as his move (like killing Claire in 5 Years Gone), he could take out almost anyone that way if he can make the first move.

So if he wanted, he could catch Matty again.

Oops, quoted wrong one. What are the odds that (based on this and another thread talking about a promo with Sylar saying nothing could save Claire now and she screams) Sylar takes Claire's power in the first hour of the show, and Claire is gone for good? Thoughts?
