I am now beginning to believe, even more and more, than before that Kate has actually been right all along about Sami and about her and Lucas being bad for each other and just wrong together. With what Lucas is TRULY looking for in a wife and a family (and since his lovely Carrie isn't around anymore and is with Austin) I think Chloe would be the perfect choice and wife for him (of course not like...right away or something! Ohhh...you all get what I'm saying! Ha!ha!) and all that he's looking for to make him happy and generally at ease! (I mean lets just face it, Sami is just never going to be that and all that he's looking for! No matter how hard she tries, its just not in the cards for her! And it just doesn't hold interest to her or her character! And she's just being something that she's not! Sami will never truly make him happy or at ease because just like Kate said to Lucas when they were trying to escape, "There will always be something or...some other man [EJ]!" And she's lying to EVERYONE, including Lucas, left and right about EJ! And the WHOLE TOWN has said it at some point and sees it! Even the past, of Colleen & Santo (EJ & Sami's past), has come forward to tell everyone and show them! And Colleen herself has told them and Sami! I now believe Kate and think that she ACTUALLY was right and knows what is best for her son!

Now...she might not have always gone about it the best way...not by a long shot! But Kate was actually right this time about this one all along! And I think she'll be much more accepting of Chloe than she will EVER be of accepting Sami! And especially with the way that Chloe treats Lucas and the attention that she gives to him and how happy he seems to be with her, how happy she's making her son, and how happy they make each other! I think that after Kate gets over the brotherly stuff with the same girl and realizes that Philip has been interested in another just like Sami has...then she'll see "Well then why not let Lucas & Chloe be happy together as well! I'll be much more accepting of her than I truly ever will be of Sami in my son's life!" And if she's (Chloe) what makes him happy then why not...I prefer her or anyone instead of Sami in his life!" I think Kate would look at it like that...because she KNOWS that she has been right all along and knows exactly what Sami is about and what/who she's interested in and wants!)

Yes,i have to agree that Kate was right all along although i haven't agreed with the methods she has used over the years to prove her point.I used to be a Lumi fan,but after seeing Lucas with Chloe i can't believe that i ever liked him with Sami.What was i thinking!I hope that Kate accepts Chloe in her son's life because i think Lucas will be very happy being with Chloe.

I agree, Kate's been right all along. I also hope she'll accept Lucas' possible relationship with Chloe even though she doesn't want Philip with her. But if she'd see how happy Chloe makes Lucas and Morgan makes Philip, she might change her mind.

Kate has gotten revenge on many people in the past,especially Sami.Kate never approved of Sami,but was justified for feeling that way.Sami used to be a really bad girl.It all started when Sami was still a teenager.She developed an obsessive crush on Kate's oldest son Austin,who also happened to be Sami's older sister Carrie's boyfriend at the time.Sami teamed up with a teenage Lucas who wanted Carrie for himself, to split Austin and Carrie up.Sami eventually drugged Austin and slept with him and Austin rejected her afterwards because he truly loved Carrie.Sami was upset and turned to Lucas and they had a fling.Sami then ran away for a few months.She returned to town to interrupt Austin and Carrie's wedding with the news that she was pregnant with the grooms baby(her son Will).Sami tried to pass off Will as Austins child for the first 2 years of his life but she was exposed for her lies when she was about to marry Austin.Kate and Sami have hated each other ever since.They have both schemed to hurt each other.Kate once framed Sami for murdering Sami's former fiancee Franco Kelly.It was really a drunk Lucas who shot Franco to protect his mother from being killed.Sami walked in and saw Franco's dead body and fainted.Kate then placed the gun in Sami's hand to make her look like the killer.Sami was sentenced to the electric chair but Lucas saved her at the last minute.

Sami has also done horrible things to both Kate and Lucas.Years ago she lied about Lucas hitting Will so she could gain custody of the child.She also blackmailed Kate about her past as a prostitute so she could get a prominent position at Titan,which Kate was running at the time.There have been many more schemes that both Kate and Sami have pulled on each other.I would be here all day listing them all.

i think it is gonna be clever on kate's part to act like the best friend ready to listen what chloe have to say, be compassionate, understanding and agrees to help them reunite but behind her back find someone who dislikes chloe as much as her or more like victor plot and cook something so bad that could destroy chloe. i just hope that maggie will reveal that she knew it for weeks and join them. it would be an amazing trio.

Yes,Kate will scheme behind Chloe's back before she exposes her.She will wait for the perfect moment.She teams up with Victor.I don't think Maggie would join in to hurt Chloe.Next week she agrees to keep quiet about the affair.Maggie seems to believe that Chloe really does love Lucas and as long as Chloe doesn't hurt Lucas again,I can see her being supportive.

I hope Kate tells Lucas soon.He needs to know and then him and Chloe can decide if they really do want to be together afterall.

i think chloe needs to tell him and then they can decide. because if a third party comes in he could take it the wrong way and lash it on chloe ( trust honesty .... that is part of what makes a relationship work).

I doubt Chloe will tell him.I think it will either be Kate or he will remember on his own.I'm thinking it will be Kate more so than him remembering on his own.He was very drunk when Maggie told him so i don't know if he would be able to remember that now.I think Kate will wait for the right moment to strike.Chloe will think that her secret is safe,but then when she least expects it,she will be exposed.

maybe she could have a fantasy dream about telling him and depending on how lucas responds,she could follow that fantasy dream or do the exact opposite or she could ask God for another sign since she is doing that a lot lately one more could not hurt her.
maybe she got used to being "under the spell" (thanks soapfan1)and now that the Doc is no longer with her to tell her everything that she needs and has to be say do...she feels like an underdog and i thought that is the reason why she referring to him all the time to kinda fill the blanks that used to be filled by the doc.

OK back to the thread about kate being right. well as the topicstarter mentionned she was about sami all along and i have to say the same goes for chloe. she heated the girl for breaking phillip's heart (so she had good reasons) unfortunately she got sick and conviniently chloe was her only chance to get bone marrow transplant. that s why for a second she let her guard down
and once chloe was accepted by all the horton clan stabbed lucas in the back by having an affair. and once again convienetly who is the one finding out : kate to prove that she has been right about chloe all along. bottom line is kate is a good mother when it comes to her son's mate (good judgment, feelings...)and i think the woman that she will distract lucas with could actually be the one. but as you all may know i am a LuLoe fan at the moment

I wouldn't even compare Chloe to Sami.What Chloe did was wrong,but is really nothing compared to the things Kate and Sami have done to hurt other people over the years.As for that new woman Kate mentioned she wanted to find for Lucas,I don't see that happening.I haven't read about any new females joining the show and also because Luloe get married on March 17th and Kate decides she wants Chloe killed.

I think the writers are setting it up so that although Lucas will be angry when he finds out about the affair,he will end up forgiving Chloe.I think he truly loves her and he would be devastated if anything bad were to happen to her.Kate is the one who is going to end up looking like the wicked witch.

I doubt Kate will actually end up killing Chloe.She might just get badly hurt.It's obviously to make the storyline more interesting.It creates plenty of drama for Luloe.

NB's contract ends in November 2009.I don't know yet if she is staying or leaving.

I'm hoping that she isn't pregnant because I'm scared the writers might make it a danloe baby.

you know what i think you could be right and now i am scared too because we did not see any luloe "get in on" scenes since the proposal and that was back in early december. this week all they do (after he gets out of the hospital) is fight and argue about the eloping. if we are lucky enough there might be one hot scene next week in the plane to vegas and/or one after the wedding ( hoooneymoooon). of course they arent showing us everything and maybe they got/ will get together but kate is supposed to find out that a heir might be involved the week after so chloe getting pregnant that quick of lucas's.... i know this is soapland but i am not buying it.
on the other hand as soapfan1 mentionned if it is not lucas's then kate's plan and SL doesnt make any sense.

Actually,Luloe had sex the night of the engagement party in January, before Daniel made his move on Chloe.It may not even be a "who's the daddy" story at all.She could even be pregnant from their lovemaking in December,after their engagement.The spoiler did mention that if Kate were to find out that a Roberts heir were involved it might make her change her plans.

I think she might be pregnant from after they got engaged.What would be the point of doing a "who's the daddy" story anyway,considering Maggie,Kate,Victor and Nicole as well as Daniel and Chloe of course, already know about the affair.Anyway,they can get tests done during the pregnancy these days to determine who the father is.

I think it will be Lucas'.Especially,with Kate planning to kill Chloe,it would have greater impact if it's Lucas' because it would be Kate's own grandchild that she would be putting at risk with what she is planning to do to Chloe.

if it's a danloe's baby chloe might not even say a thing about the possiblity for the Dr to be the dad. i mean if she doesnt want to screw things up between her and lucas i think she is gonna act like lucas has been the one since day one. the thing is someone (kate) might ask for a paternity test. i mean the only thing different between the dr and lucas is the eye colour but the Doc has blue/green eyes so has chloe. the writers might take that route and seeing the last episode i think dan let chloe go for good.

Actually,we don't even know if Chloe is going to be pregnant for sure.That speculation was because of some cryptic spoilers.I read earlier,that in 2 weeks Kate plans to poison Chloe and later Chloe feels nauseous.If Kate does poison her,that will be why she feels sick.I really hope she's not pregnant.That's the last thing she needs right now and the show does not need any more babies at the moment.
