I don't need any more hints. The writing is on the wall!!! Daniel and Chelsea are the next supercouple. They are HOT!!! I loved their scenes today. They have such great banter. And Daniel is totally in love with her!!! He would rather die than hurt her.

I'm wondering, has Days ever had a supercouple where one member of the couple is a nasty pervert?

The writing is on the wall? Of a junior high school maybe. As if we needed any more proof that Chelsea was too immature for Daniel. The girl can't even string a logical sentence together without the use of ah's and um's. She looks like a child, acts like a child, talks like a child...and if a man in his 40's gets turned on by that...then he's a perv. Oh, and they are NOT the next supercouple!

I thought you were going to refer to Caroline's talk with Bo and her compairing Daniel and Chelsea with him and Hope. Talk about spelling things out for the fans.

I don't know why tbtb insist on doing that. It never works! It's the fans that make a supercouple, not management. If they keep insisting it just seems desperate. It would be better to let it play out yea or nea without the propping.

I love that they are hinting around Daniel & Chelsea becoming a supercouple!! They have a lot to overcome before they can get there, but their chemistry is so amazing they will get there. TPTB did a great job uniting these two!! What a great s/l!!!

Daniel moving into the Loft is perfect, I'm so excited about it and can't wait to see him and Chelsea grow as a couple. Yes they do have their speed bumps, but they will get through them just like every other super couple has. Didn't Shawn and Belle live there in the Loft together at some point as well? I mean before she got together with Philip and the whole Jan thing.

I don't think that's the same loft - the roof is different. When Daniel went to look at the apartment, he was on the roof and there was furniture and it looked like the area was made of stone. The roof over the loft didn't have those things. I think Daniel might be looking at Sami's apartment.

I didn't find anything odd or strange about the "uh" and "um" thing, either. In fact, I do it myself, when I don't know what to say, I'm talking about something that is hard for me to talk about, the subject may be sensitive to the other person, etc. It can be an endearing thing, too. Being too glib all the time isn't necessarily a sign of "smart" - in fact, it can make you look really foolish. Chelsea has had a lot of insight when it comes to Daniel - even he said that - and big/fancy words aren't/weren't necessary. Remember the scene in the steam room when Daniel said he couldn't take the risk of getting involved with Chelsea because of how he lost his wife (not his exact words)? Chelsea very plainly told him "It would a shame to live your life alone because you're afraid of what might happen," - a very intuitive, insightful, and plain old smart observation.

Lastly in regards to Daniel being the "older man" in this relationship - people really do need to get off of the "pervert" kick. I'm 52 now and when I was 18 I dated a man who was 37. We actual did fall in love and were engaged to be married when I was 19 and he was 38. The night he proposed on his way home, less than 1 mile from my house, he was killed by a drunk driver. My family loved him. The only thing my father did was ask him "Do you love my daughter?" Dad said that question and the answer to it were all the important questions and their answers tied into one and the rest of the BS was just nonsense that didn't really matter. It's been 33 years since he passed away and, although I've lead a normal social dating life, I never met another one like him - he was the love of my life. I guess that's what makes Daniel and Chelsea so endearing to me - leave them alone.

chelsea and daniel are the exact opposite of a supercouple. they're a de-supercouple, an anti-supercouple if you will. last time I checked, great couples like bope and s&k success had nothing to do with where they lived, but character development, good writing, and chemistry. All of which Chelsea and Daniel don't have, thus, they are an anti-supercouple.

PLEASE spread that around cause I know some who have not gotten that memo,LOL.

Daniel renting an apartment is a great thing. He is finally ready to settle down and that is huge for someone who used to live his life like a gipsy. His love for Chelsea changed him and that is wonderful.

And concerning the supercouple status....they are definitely my supercouple on the show. I love them!

I realize I may offend some people when I call Daniel a perv. I too dated an older man when I was a young teen. Like my father said to me "It's not that he's too old for you, it's that you're too young and immature for him." Look, I'd be more receptive to the pairing of Daniel and Chelsea, if she didn't act like a child. She is emotionally immature, far too immature to engage in a relationship with a man old enough to be her father. Being involved with an older man does not make you "grown up".

i could give you many reasons why the dan/chelsea spam is being met with such hostility, but let's suffice it to say that there's already a thread with many pages about whether or not they are supercouple material. the subject doesn't need to be reposted in a new one each week.

And if we're going to get into such things, it's scary to me the number of newbies on the board who say they only watch Days because of Dansea. That is one of my pet peeves. TIIC put on a serialized After School Special every summer to lure in the kiddies. And those kiddies are not invested in the SHOW, they are invested in a COUPLE. The kiddies wll be gone as soon as their favorite couple is split up, or even gone from the show. Meanwhile, the longtime viewers get the shaft.

If you're gonna watch a soap, it's a good idea to learn the history and become involved in more than one couple.

Chelsea is not mature. I know when I was 19-20, I was not prone to giddiness around a good-looking older man. Most older than 40 men (most not all) want a woman they have a lot in common with. Bo & Hope lived in the loft as well. I don't know if that is the same place that Daniel will be living, but I love this couple nonetheless. It is so nice that he is establishing roots for the sake of this relationship. This was a good old fashioned love story for awhile. The age, the family against her dating him, his internal struggle. The connection between these two is amazing. I think that it is a great love story.

There are so many peopel from around the globe that have tuned in and are watching days mainly daniel and chelsea i love it.

Daniel didn't move into the loft, he subletted Sami's apartment. I do think him and Chelsea have the potential to be a supercouple though
