Although I don't agree that the rest are just a toss up ... I do agree that Coffey needs to go... but I don't really care who wins either... even if my favorite loses, its still just a show. I am nowhere near as wrapped up in any of these contestants as I was for David Cook on Idol this year... but even so, I wouldn't have been that upset if he didn't win. I didn't really have a favorite until original night.... I liked Gabe & Ashlee ... sometimes Melissa and Sometimes Shawn. I never really cared that she cried a lot... nor do I care that Melissa is the best singer. After hearing the original songs... Shawn is the one I most connected to.. so she is who I voted for. I might change my mind tonight... just never know.

I voted for shawn a lot, would have been a lot more but it seemed to be busy a lot when I tried to get through. but you know that is a good thing.

I just texted my votes... much easier, faster and no busy signals! LOL

Thoughts on Shawn's performance? I loved it! Definitely sounded really country. Upbeat too, I liked that.

I wasn't blown away really to tell the truth. It was good, but not absolutely fantastic really. Better then anything Coffey can do tonight. Are they performing twice tonight? I thought I heard either Katie or Billy say that.

Lol well everyone is performing, THEN they're doing the elimination, so the voting has nothing to do with it.
I'd give her an A for that song.

As much as I like Gabe, I was disappointed by this song--either the song doesn't suit his voice or it was the wrong key.

Agreed on Gabe being the best vocally, but I didn't love tonight's performance. It wasn't bad at all, I just didn't love it. I'd give him a B, I guess.

It looks like Jewel just came back from a time travel trip to the 60s. And the scary part, I kind of LIKE it. O_o

Gabe gave the usual good stuff. Not a breakout moment. Maybe I'm being a little disappointed because I'm thinking in my head, "Get Melissa on already!" XD Maybe also because this is the finale and we should be having completely awesome performances at this point. Like last week. (Well, it WOULD if it weren't for Coffey. )

Somehow I think she's gotta be kicking herself too. What'd she do cut all that length off?

At this stage, performances should be "right on" and Gabe's was just ok. Shawn has improved each week; this week she rocked it:)
