I do not agree with it either. I think it makes the writer look as though they cannot come up with anything new...I mean come now....Chelsea just went through the SAME thing last year with Nick and her mother...it is old already. Not to mention, pretty shameful, IMO. Kate's character portrays her to be a little more classy than the writer is making her out to be..I KNOW she had a past...everyone does, but come on....
I know that Chelsea and Daniel were not together when they slept together, but that, IMO, does not make it better. Why? Because Kate knew Chelsea had feelings for him and him towards Chelsea. It was just wrong, and I think it is pretty lame of the writer to continue this garbage.

The Pro-Date crowd always brings up that Chelsea denied her feelings for Daniel...Think back...did your grandma not know everything you were thinking before you were even thinking of it? My grandma can complete my sentences for me..she knows me like the back of her hand. We are just as close as Chelsea and Kate...Kate should have picked up on it. So that excuse doesn't even come close to making it okay for this disgusting Date escapade.

The thought of Daniel and Kate disgusts me, especially since she already knew that Chelsea was interested in him.
Am i the only who is having a problem with corday SOW weekly fall preview? the chemistry between kate and daniel doesn't exist, even if it does it is too late to go that route. He is dating her grandaughter Chelsea, and to me it is gross and discusting. I hope the writers relize that we the viewers are not stupid or we don't have amnesia, so please bail on the idea of kate and daniel. I AM

OF THE IDEA!!!!I totally agree with you. I have never seen any chemistry between Kate and Daniel! They don't even have a relationship so how can people say they have all this chemistry. The last thing I want to see is Daniel entering a relationship with the grandmother of the woman he supposedly is in love with. It doesn't make any sense that he would do that to Chelsea after what he has already put her through.
Well, I must say it has taken 20 plus years, but I am officially done with this show. By changing the basic premise of this show in attempts to get more viewers they have alienated the current ones. I don't see it staying around much longer. Shame, the end of an era!

I agree they do not have chemistry. They are boring and have nothing in common, other than Chelsea. I guess Kate seems to get sick a lot so she needs a doctor a lot, but other than that, nothing. It won't last! Daniel and Chelsea are the real love story and everyone knows it. They have to have their angst now, but they will end up together in the end. Have faith Dansea fans!
I agree with all of you on this one. Daniel and Kate didn't and don't have any chemistry what so ever. From day one Daniel has only had eyes for Chelsea and it has grown to love since then. In the end it will be Dansea who wins.

You know what? I never post about a couple that I don't like, because I just never wanted to talk about something that I didn't like, when some one might have a different opinion than me. I have always respected other peoples opinions. I just devoted all my support into the couple that I liked, and tried to be nice. But, you know what? I am so OVER it. Am i the only one that is having a problem with the SOW fall preview with pairing Kate and Daniel as a couple.This is gross, how can we forget that she encourage chelsea to go after him, or he said that chelsea is the best thing that happen to him in a long time, and lets not forget she is the grandmother of his girlfriend. Please writer bail on that idea i think chelsea and daniel have a great chemistry. Even if you think kate and daniel are the one with the chemistry (which i don't agree) don't pair those two it is an insult to the viewer and you are telling us that it is ok for a grandma to be with her grandaughter boyfriend. Not SO COOL.
Well, I am very appalled by this storyline. Corday is telling me that it is alright to call my daughters boyfriend and my mother to call him and say hey lets have sex, that seems to be the going thing these days. Let's share, it is not nasty or disgusting but makes for a very good story.
I have a serious problem with it as well. There is absolutely no chemistry between the 2 of them. I can't understand how Days could start a breathtaking relationship with Daniel and Chelsea and then ruin it but possibly pairing him with Kate? It sickens me. The writers better rethink this one. 
Daniel & Chelsea is a breath of fresh air that DOOL needed, something different. They make me want to watch, they are the reason I watch!. I cant believe the writing team have done this to such a wonderful couple, it’s a disgrace… Can't the writers come up with anything original??. They just recycle storylines over and over again???.
Date makes me want to vomit!!! They have ZERO chemistry together!! Chelsea and Daniel belong together!! What happened to this show? What happened to their core family values? They have centered their show around family for ages and now they are having a Grandma chase after her Granddaughter's boyfriend? This is just sick! I know Kate is no angel, but she would never do this to her Granddaughter!! This story just doesn't make sense!

Corday and the other writers who say they made a mistake with the Daniel/Chelsea storyline are off their rockers! I have never seen such chemistry as there is between Daniel and Chelsea. They are the ONLY reason I watch and tape the show and the only reason I joined this message boards to show my support for Chelsea and Daniel.
I have watched for over 20 years, and as soon as they pair Daniel and Kate together, that will be it for me. I WILL NOT watch these 2 together. Daniel belongs with Chelsea, and Chelsea belongs with Daniel. Period.

I do not support Date in any way not just because I am a fan of Daniel and Chelsea. The real problem I have her is that it is just sick. I can't believe they would continue it knowing how it hurt Chelsea even if Daniel and Chelsea can't reconcile. I agree Daniel had a part takes two to tango but as her Grandmother she shouldn't continue the affair. If she did and I was Chelsea I would completely cut her off from my life. Which to me would be odd that they would head in that direction considering as of late they have tried to make Chelsea seem so close to her family. I would hate to see the only real connection she has to her mother's side of her family to be completely destroyed.
