What has been missing from Days lately is some good old fashioned romance. What I really love about Daniel and Chelsea's relationship is that they are really trying to get to know eachother and they have been having some wonderfully romantic dates. Good old fashion romance is back!!! Finally. There first date was so romantic, the lei, the dinner, the dancing...it was magical. And their recent dance on the rooftop was fantastic!!! I can't wait to see more romance with Daniel and Chelsea. And from the promos, it looks like Bo and Hope will be having some great romantic scenes as well. Good for Days!!!

I remember when this was the norm on soaps. Candlelit dinners, dancing in the moonlight, kisses, sweetness...I mean all the drama too...but still those moments of love. They are so few and far between nowadays. But Days has been trying to improve...of Daniel and Chelsea have the most romantic scenes in recent memory...but we have had some nice one for Bo and Hope, Tony and Anna, and some upcoming ones for Morgan and Philip.

I hope the show stays on this course. To balance all the angst and sleaze. If the show could just remember the love, we would all be much happier. I know the romance is what catches my eye with Daniel and Chelsea, and keeps me hooked.

I really liked Dansea until this whole Kate/Daniel sex rewrite garbage. That has ick written all over it and talk about recycling storylines. Having Chelsea's mom sleep with her boyfriend wasn't enough they have to rewrite the storyline so her grandma sleeps with the next boyfriend? *Sigh* this could have been a good storyline but the writers have killed it for me.

I agree, romance is coming back to DAYS not only with Dansea but with Bo and Hope as well. It's a good break from all the drama that's been happening lately. Hopefully more couples will have romance in their lives, from the spoilers it looks like there'll be more couples having their share of romance with new pairings happening

I couldn't agree with you more. I love the romance. We are actually seeing a couple that met and now invest time with each other. This couple is awesome. The chemistry between them is off the charts. I love the fact that they met in March and they have not rushed into hitting the sheets. This is splendid in my book. I can remember the old days like with Bo and Hope. When they finally made that step it was special. I just now when Chelsea and Daniel take that step it will be special and a moment that we will remember for years to come. Chelsea and Daniel thanks for bringing back the ROMANCE TO DAYS.

Scarlett I had no idea you were a Daniel and Chelsea fan. But I guess I should've figured as such...as an Ejami fan most of us route to the underdog. But yes Day's is trying to ruin our storyline. It's more than obvious Daniel was brought in for Chelsea not ****y granny. Anywho keep the faith Scarlett we still have a fighting chance. This girl right here isnt going down without a fight. Daniel and Chelsea all way!!

You have all taken the words right out of my mouth. The romance is definitely coming back to Days. I mean it has always been there for like Bo and Hope and some others, but with Chelsea and Daniel it is so nice to see them actually getting to know each other and having all these great romantic dates and not just immediately hitting the sheets. That is what makes this couple so great, is that they have the sizzling chemistry, passion, and have exactly what the show was all about years ago.

I agree with everyone here, not since the Bo/Hope, Jack/Jen and many more couples have I seen such a beautiful story, and IMO is the love story of a lifetime. Days has been lacking in the romance department for many years until that fateful day that Dr. Daniel Jonas appeared on our screen. From the very first meeting up until now, Daniel and Chelsea have managed to make every scene breath taking and put butterflies in my stomach. This is one love story that deserves to be told and I hope we get to watch them become the soulmates they were meant to be. Daniel and Chelsea's love story has brought Days back to life and reminds me so much of a modern day Bo/Hope love.

Haydeertz! Yes - I do like Dansea (and I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ejami!). I hear you on the whole underdog thing. That's what makes soaps interesting for me. I have always been a fan of the relationships that were outside of the norm - Mike & Carrie is another example - OMG I loved them.

I am just creeped out by this whole Kate thing. Why was it necessary for Dr. Dan to go where EVERY man in Salem has gone before? Why does Chelsea have to face the same obstacle again? Why can't they face something new and fresh? Why does every storyline on Days have to be recycled? It's just frustrating. I want to root for Dansea. Who cares about the age difference. I have to say I really enjoyed Bo's talk with Doug about them. I didn't watch way back in the day to see the beginnings of Bope, but I know the history and I think it's funny to see Bo going through what Doug went through. Isn't that enough? Can't they get a start before the writers start screwing with them? Oh wait a minute, they can't with Ejami being a prime example. Look how long we've been jerked around on that one.

I think I started to like Dansea because they hooked up at a time where Ejami started to get torn apart. We were also thrown right into their relationship with the whole hot kiss at Bope's house. It gave me another couple to invest in. But this whole Kate stuff is a serious ick factor for me and I don't know if I can get past it.

something about daniel and chelsea is adorable, i don't care about the age they seem to fit together. i always look forward to see them. they are so cute and am glad we are watching a lot of romance with this couple. the roof top dance was excelent.

Romance is just what Days needs! I'm so sick of all those triangles and the constent sleeping around. The show really needs to let couples be happy for a while or at least be more creative and find other obstacles.

I want to see more scenes like last weeks rooftop scenes with Daniel and Chelsea or their date is another example how good romance is written. Those were some really beautiful moments. It brought back a lot of memories of how Days used to be. I want that back. I have high hopes for next weeks Bo and Hope scenes. It looks very promising.

Wow, the highlighted part cracks me up.. I'm a LUMI and I like Dansea, so that theory just got thrown out the window..

I haven't seen that much romance, what 2wice if that!!! They still have along way to go to get back into the romance part of it...

I couldn't agree more! Daniel and Chelsea's love story has been beautifully written. It is so refreshing to see dating and not mating. Taking the time to get to know one another and enjoying themselves at the same time. I am looking forward to see it all unfold.

I agree with you,finally the romance is back,I cant wait to see them grow more in their relationship. it is definately worth watching. Daniel and Chelsea are the reason I watch days.

I hear you on the whole ick factor thing as well...but remain tough I still think both of our couples have wat it takes to make it big on screen. I wish there was a way the producer could see that if they invest in these couples then they will have a true fanbase that is strong. I sure hope that they start out righting better for Ejami wat they have been giving them is just hideous pairing Ej with Nicole...bleh. And this that they are doing to Daniel is just beyond ridiculous but I have faith that they will see where TRUE ROMANCE IS AT!!

Oh yes! Daniel and Chelsea have defintely brought the romance back to DOOL. They are like a fresh of breath air. I know that it is icky with the whole Kate thing, and I don't know why they would even go down that road again. I for one think that Daniel and Chelsea have their own storyline and don't need another love interest thrown in there. They have many obstacles that they are going to have to go through to make it as a couple without needing a love interest to make this a triangle. They have faced the age difference, and they still have to face the everyone accepting them as a couple, like Bo, Victor and other family members, and they also have the infertility issue, which I think could be a very beautiful and powerful story. They have so much passion for each other and bring life to their story. They are just that couple that takes your breath away and makes you believe in fairytales.

I absolutely LOVE Daniel and Chelsea as a couple and the romance they bring to the show is unparalleled. Some couples - Bo and Hope and Doug and Julie - have come close but no one has what these 2 people have. They are the reason I watch DOOL. They are the reason I will continue to watch DOOL.

I agree with all of you. I love seeing the romance return to Days! They are dating instead of jumping into bed right away and that is so refreshing to see on Daytime. I love this couple so much! They actually are getting to know each other and just enjoying each others company. I love it!
