How is Ej pathetic now? Sami told him today she couldn't imagine life without him and he told her the same thing back. I'm sure he did have feelings for Nicole but as everyones says "feelings is not love". The one thing for sure is ,he does love Sami and has for a long time. The only way Nicole will have him is to scheme and plot for him. Sami sure didn't desert Ej when they came out from the stairwell so she really didn't care what her father thought. I noticed that she didn't seem she didn't try to hide it from Roman either. It was a nice change. I expected her to get all flustered and fidgety and in denial, but she was pretty calm (given the circumstances). I hope she's wised up and is willing to explore her feelings now. Ej is good for her. I hope he continues to be such a calming supportive solid influence.

I hope you're right too. I did enjoy seeing Sami acting open with EJ, in front of her father and in front of Lexie and I believe even Kate, her and EJ hugged when she showed concern for everyone still up on the 7th floor (I think Kate was there?). On a separate but similar note, was actually nice to see Roman give EJ a friendly and supportive pat on the shoulder when they rescued Sami & EJ! Perhaps in acceptance...time will tell!

I guess that's where we have to agree to disagree. I think Sami's shortcomings degrade EJ.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking in the shadows reading posts for a long time. I really don't post much but I couldn't pass this up.
Ok lets get real for a sec, the only reason that EJ has been 'waiting for 2 years' is because of constant changes and a writers strike.
But if EJ picks Nicole, then what? I mean as far as storylines go. Why is this couple so important? Heck, Nicole doesn't love EJ; she barely knows him! She just has the hots for him. That's not love imo. It takes time to build a loving, trusting relationship. And, no, Sami and EJ don't have that either...yet.
If EJ and Sami (our very own Romeo and Juliet) get together it will be a DeMira-Brady storyline. One that could easily include the vets we all love and have all kinds of potential for many interesting twist and turns. They are two of the three main families in Salem. The third family name sure isn't Walker! Get it?

Why do the vets need EJ and Sami? The Brady vs Dimera fued started before them and it'll still be going on after they end. So what NIcole is not a Brady that doesn't mean that there won't be drama for one thing Stefano is not gonna want Nicole with EJ. I find nothing exciting about Stefano pimping Ejami as the golden love couple and future of the Dimera family, if anything it's creepy. AS of now nobody cares about EJ and Sami anymore not even her family not even Stefano, he actually wants them together and Sami to be the new Dimera breeder.

Yes, it's true that Stefano wants EJami together, but I don't think all is as it seems. Stefano feels betrayed by EJ and I think he's going to use EJ's love for Sami and the twins to exact his revenge. The other thought I had is maybe Sami is pregnant again and Stefano knows it. Before Stefano slipped into his coma, he was not very happy with EJ constantly siding with Samantha and not being able to "control" her (as if anyone could!), so I think something's up.

But EJ isn't rushing back into a relationship with Samantha. In fact, HE is the one who stopped things in the stairwell, saying that he didn't want her to be saying that was a mistake, too. He even seemed to be a little upset that his back up booty call wasn't going to be around anymore as his Plan B. He has so much more to think about right now other than his romantic life (the threat from Stefano, Lucas trying to take Allie, his plans with Tony to take back the empire), but in the midst of all this, I think Sami will prove the sincerity of her feeling pretty soon. There is no way that EJ is her second choice.

Where is it that EJ said he wanted to get back with Sami? I must of missed that part. I saw EJ wanting Sami to be honest with him about her feelings. I saw EJ thank her and comfort her in a stressful time. I saw them make out but EJ stopping it but we dont really know why he did that. Right now EJ is all about protecting his family from Stefano. Yes Sami is included in that family but on a romantic level. Im not seeing it. Not right now at least. EJ is gun shy about starting anything up with her because she has hurt him too many times. I think people are confusing EJ's need for a family with his romantic feelings. EJ and Sami arent a couple. Friends and co parents protecting their children. EJ's romatic interest seems to still be with Nicole. She is the one he admitted to caring about very much. The one he loves being with and thinks is wonderful.

Great post! I think we are seeing that backbone of EJ's that people have been wanting to see.

If Sami wanted Lucas, Sami would go and get Lucas. That simple. She's not, so it must mean she doesn't *want* Lucas as much as people think she does. She may love him, but at the same time realizes something is off about them because they cannot stay happily together (even before EJ showed up). Sometimes love isn't enough. Usually something is very off in a relationship if one of the two can't stop thinking about someone else.

sami can't stay happy with one man for a long period time anyway. its not just lucas. and it certainly wont be ej. been there done that. he ruined that himself. if she loved ej, she would've been with him by now. but, its obvious sami doesn't know what the hell she wants as usual so she'll go for the one who didn't push her away, and thats ej because he'll just settle for anything

i find this all incredibly sad... why would anyone be called pathetic for being madly in love...i have been there myself and i am so glad my friends and family supported me unconditionally thru it...never once did they bash me even though i am sure at times they thought i had lost my mind but never did they think me pathetic for following my hearts desire. i thought some had become fans of ej recently, thats why i dont get why people are being so hard on him...the man is in LOVE thats all and that is never pathetic. look it...at least he is being smarter about it this time keeping whats her face on standby until sami fully commits or whatever.

Everyone knows Sami picked Lucas over Ej, but Lucas couldn't forget or forgive her for sleeping with Ej. Lucas could see Sami couldn't love him with all her heart bc part of it belonged to Ej. He made his choice. Sami has not ever said she loves Ej but has feelings for him and those feelings could turn into love. She said anything is possible and each of them said they can't imagine life without the other. I don't see Ej as pathetic at all.
