It has come to my attention that there seems to be an opinion circulating that Daniel and Chelsea fans are pre-teen, young, and generally in the under-21 crowd. I would like to show everyone that Daniel and Chelsea have a very wide fan base inclusive of all age groups and that those fans are not confined to what is being "affectionately (?)" called "tweens." I would like to invite all of my fellow Dansea fans out there to post here your gender, your age, and how long you've been watching Days. You can, if you like, also include a comment about why you love Daniel and Chelsea.

Myself - Female, 52 years old, been watching Days for 30+ years and Love Dansea!!

I've been watching Days for over 20 years now... I'm 39. I have loved Daniel and Chelsea since the very first scene in the park. Up until then Days was a routine, a lunch break Monday through Friday, but since this storyline it's an eagerly anticipated hour.

Female, 40 years old. I have been watching Days since Bo and Hope and I love Dansea. They bring back the romance that Days has not scene for a very long time.

I am a huge Dansea fan and hate that everyone thinks that all the fans of this amazing couple are in their teens, tweens or whatever you call it. Me and my friends over at curemytragedy consist of all different ages, races and are from around the world. I wouldn't have it any other way they are the best group of people I have ever came in contact with and love them all.

I am a third generation DOOL fan and have watched DOOL for years with my grandmother and then with my mother. We are all loyal Days fans. I have been watching since I was 12 or 13. I am a 40 year old mother of a 21 yr. old daughter, I build roads for a living.

DOOL has been lacking in the romance department for quite sometime and when I first saw Daniel and Chelsea and watch this storyline progress I felt like Days had finally gone back to the what they new best, family and classic love stories. I fell in love with them from the beginning and they will forever hold a place in my heart. Not only are they what true love is all about but this amazing couple introduce me to some wonderful, classy women out there.

I am 28 and married to 47 years old man, I used to watch days, but I stopped around 2005 and started back in March 4, after I happened to surf channel saw the episode at the park where Chelsea and Daniel met. I don’t find there age gaps a problem, because there is no manual or rule book about who or when you are suppose to fall in love with. One thing i know for sure is Daniel and Chelsea are the real reason i started back.

I am a 37 year old mother of 2. I have been watching Days since I was 14 years old, back in the good old 80s. Steve and Kayla used to be my favorite couple, along with Jack and Jenn. Now I can honestly say that I love Daniel and Chelsea more! I have never loved a couple this much!

I have been watching days of our lives since I was a little girl- my grandmother would let me watch with her so I truly remember loving Tom and Alice- being that they were around my grandmothers age and all. I still remember Bo and Hope falling in love and their romance was just beautiful and still continues today with all the bumps in the road they have had. I loved Jack and Jennifer, and Shawn D. and Belle were great as well. (reminded me of when I way young and in love!)


That March 4th episode when Chelsea met Daniel was just amazing!
I was hooked and totally into days from that point on- it just had been watching for fun, but with Dansea I knew this was to be a true romance in the making. They have such great chemistry!!!
I also have been blessed to be a part of curemytragedy and have met some wonderful people from all around the world. Chelsea and Daniel are my couple, they are my "IT" on Days. As far as the age thing, its just a number-

Lifes journey isn't just a straight line, we have to take a few detours along the way to bring us back to where we started to find out that is what matters the most and all the stuff inbetween is just, well stuff!

I have been watching days for over 20 years, I am a 34 year old mother and wife who think Daniel and Chelsea are the best pairing since Bo and Hope. I think that woman of all ages love this couple because they are so refreshing and new, and the passion they have for each other is so awesome I just love them.

It was refreshing to see something other than the bad boy or bad girl with the good guy or good girl. It was nice to see something realistic and the actors are wonderful together.

I am a 45 year old woman, I have been watching Days for over 30 years. I can say it has been a while since i've seen actual romance on Days. Chelsea and Daniel bought it back. Now days you find couples on daytime drama and in the first week they are in bed. This couple was actually falling for each other before our eyes. They actually had an officially date. It was not hopping in bed evertime you saw them. They look to have a genuine love. We don't see that now a days and that is what is wrong with all of soaps. Days was bringing back something that has been missing for years and years. Now it seems that the executives at the show got scared because of the age difference, and decided that her grandmother sleeping with Daniel will make the show better. All I can say is WOW what a shame.

I am a 28 year old female and have a 2 year old son. I have been watching Days since I was very young. I watched on and off all through school and have watched faitfully for the last 5 years or so. I mainly watched out of habit, but since March I have been waiting patiently everyday for the new episode to come on to see if Daniel and Chelsea will be on! I have NEVER been this involved in a soap. They are so amazing and their chemistry is undeniable!!

Hi, I'm 63, retired on disability and have watched Days since I was a teenager when the show was in black and white. I stopped watching Days when Stephen Nichols moved over to One Life to Live. A few months ago I started getting SoapNet and I started watching Days again because it came on at 10PM and I had time in the evening to watch it. That happened to be the very same week that Shawn Christian made his appearance at the park bench scene with Rachel Melvin and I was so hooked on this couple. I have never felt like this about any soap couple before and I've watched a lot of soap operas. So for all you anti-Dansea fans who think the Dansea fans are all teenagers, YOU ARE DEAD WRONG. From my experience of talking to other Deansea fans (and I do so daily) there are a very few that are teenagers. I really want this couple to continue developing their relationship of a beautiful love story because they're really fun to watch, they have great chemistry on screen and Days needs a new and fresh storyline. Some of the couple on Days have been together for decades and their getting older and not very exciting to watch.

Are they saying that Dansea fans are young so ofcourse they support Chelsea being with an older, sucessful doctor?? UMMM I dont care what age you are or he is for that matter, wouldnt you want to be with a hot, sucessful DOCTOR too???

I absoutely love Daniel and Chelsea together, Rachel and Shawn's chemestry is off the charts! I just don't understand why everyone is hung up about the age! There are MANY people in REAL LIFE that are in the same situation, Love has NO AGE!!!

I watched Days for 15 years then I lost interest and the only thing that brought me back was the romance between Daniel and Chelsea - I got so addicted to seeing them together b/c they have so much chemistry. I am very disappointed to see them end it like this. I now will only watch Days if I am at home and not busy b/c I have lost interest now that Dansea is over.

If they bring back Dansea I will watch every day!!

BRING DANSEA BACK!!!!

I'm a 35 year old mother of 3 boys and have watched DOOL since I was a tween. I stopped watching a year and half ago only to be brought back as a faithful viewer after that fateful connection between Daniel and Chelsea on the park bench. I have watched many soaps and evening programs over the years, and never have I been as affected by a couple as I have by Daniel and Chelsea. I tape every episode, fast forward to all the scenes between Daniel and Chelsea and watch them over and over again.
They are the ONLY reason I returned to watching Days, and if the writers break them up, they will also be the reason I stop watching. I will not watch Daniel with Kate. I've also never joined message boards before, but started because of this addictive love story. They have more chemistry than I've ever seen and to break them apart after investing 8 months into such an incredible journey just baffles me.
I don't think that viewers (anti-Dansea fans) would leave the show because of Daniel and Chelsea being together, but I'm absolutely certain that viewers will leave if the writers break them apart.
I sincerely hope they change their minds.

They are the next Bo & Hope, John & Marlena, Doug & Julie....they are sooooo smokin hot on the scene together. Its funny I find myself only tunning in to the parts with them in it!!! And the look on his face yesterday as he walked away killed me. They are the best couple "BY FAR" out of everyone on there right now JMO!!!! Please keep them together.

I am 35, the mother of 2 and I have been watching this show ever since I can remember. In junior high I was obsessed with Bo & Hope and Shane & Kim. The last couple I remember getting really into that way was Jack & Jennifer.
For the last few years, I would skim through Days on my TiVo and just get a general idea of what was happening out of habit. Then one day I saw those locker room scenes with Daniel and Chelsea and I was hooked. Their chemistry was amazing! I started going to YouTube to watch every scene they had been in. I can't wait for their scenes and I am so disappointed that the writers have taken this beautiful love story and ruined it. Hopefully they will figure this out or I will probably go back to skimming - if that.

I don't understand why people are having such a big problem with the age difference between Daniel and Chelsea. This thing happens every day. You find older man dating younger woman every where in the world. so why is it a big problem for some people? Well I love Daniel and Chelsea because of the chemistry they have and I am very disappointed with the writers. I think Daniel and Chelsea should be together. I am very sad because they brokeup my couple.

I love these two and it is time TPTB fix the mess and get these two back together!!!
