[size="2"][/size]Hi I am a huge fan of Deal or No Deal, I have been waiting a very long time to get my chance and still have not recieved a call,

I would like to know if there is anyone out there that can tell us , What takes so long to hear something?
I know alot of people are fans and they all have a story, and what thier chance, but I have blogged a long time on the Bankers blog and and on Nicks blog and several people mostly regulars on there have not heard anything either.
Trust me when I say I blog daily I do, I sleep with both phones at night just in case producers call ,cause I live in Indiana and there is a 3 hour differents in time. I get on Myspace and email the casting department or whom ever it is that has a myspace, I write them everyday sometimes twice a day.
I have kept count of the days its been since I interviewed in Indianapolis May 1,2007 and was asked back on May 2,2007 to do a tape interview and play a mock game. That count is 506 days today !!!
April 5th 2008 I went to a tryout in OHIO that was 163 days ago, and I mailed in a tape on July 5th 2008 that was 79 days ago.

I have stayed faithful, hopeful and I am Determined to be on the show!!! It would just be nice if some one does read the blogs that they at least respond or call or email something to say we hear you, we know your there and we have not forgot you.. Anyone else feel this way???

Its a tedious process and sometimes they are very confusing on what they want from you. I got the farthest you can get in the process without actually getting on the plane, and that was 2 years ago. My story is different but the result is the same: still no callback......

All we can do is keep hoping....right? Or just face the reality that we may never get called.

i tried out twice. Once i sent in a video and the other i went to a casting call. The casting call was actually a whole lot of fun. One of the best experiences I've had in a while. I really would love to get on this show since I help people out alot and still would like some help out. I also though would like to be able to live some of my dreams too though like writing the next hit gameshow for NBC.

I have sent my applacation in and went to a interview and still waiting. Good luck to all of you and hope some of us get on.

Applying to become a contestant is not that simple when thousands and thousands of applicants are applied over the past year and only the few that have their careers, hopes, dreams and funny fears are used to prepare the show for their "This Is Your Life" moment.

Because of that, NBC strongly discourages applicants from incurring any expenses needed for travel to and from the show.

They may say they're casting, but they aren't. Unless something miraculous happens, all episodes have been taped and this is their final season. Doesn't make sense to kill your top rated show, does it?

Where did you hear that ?????? I can not see them cancelling the show... But starting a rummor like could bring in alot of emails

my info is from someone who works on the show. I WISH I were spreading rumors - unfortunately it's the sad truth... want to inundate NBC with messages to keep it? I'm with you!

again - unfortunately not a rumor. Currently NBC has no plans to renew DOND. I hope it DOES bring in a lot of e-mails!!!! I think they're making a huge mistake.

[size="4"][/size]I am to still waiting after sending in my applacation and tape and going to a casting call. but in the mean time I have became disabiled and have to where oxygen and they probley will not call me now. I was just wanting to get my whole family together for christmas and thought we had it made we all gethered up over 1,000. for my daughter and her family to get here to UTAH but come out find about it they are 3 months behind in there house payment because my precious little Granddaughter had to go to lots of doctors in Milwakie and they live in mennomiee MI and it cost a lot every time they go. my hope was to get to be on Deal or no Deal and have everyone there but it does not look like it going to happen. So I am wishing good LUCK to all of you out there that you may be called and have your dreams come true. Best of LUCK to all of you.

Pam M I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and don't ever give up your dreams, Besides Deal Or No Deal has not announced that they were canceling the Prime time show it is just rummored so keep the faith!!!!!!

I am wanting to know how to to apply to be on deal or no deal? I have searched and looked all over the nbc site but it does not tell you anywhere how to apply or where to send a video or if you have to send a video?? I read your message and you were the first one I came upon and does it really take so long? And are they going to cancel the show?

I remember going through the interviewing process after seeing an ad for it on craigslist and never getting a callback. it was soo dashing. i mean i had high hopes and they never called me back. i mean I'm not alone on this but still...i want my chance as do the thousands of people that didn't get on yet.

I believe if it is a persons dream to be on the show or for anything that a person dreams of it is always worth the wait BECAUSE GOOD THINGS COME TOO THOSE WHO WAIT...I will stay determined and continue to wait....I am a true fan of the shows!!!!
