I think it would be hilarious if somehow these 2 characters would be in an episode together. I wonder if any of the writers ever consi laugh.gif dered this!

I don't see it happening. Ricky Gervais is busy with so many other projects. Besides, so many of the US characters are based on the British ones that any merger of the 2 would take some of the fun out of it.

While I would love to see Michael and David meet sometime, I would doubt that it would ever happen. I believe at one point one of the writers was asked about the possibility of a cameo in an upcoming episode and they denied that it would be possible. I'll just keep my fingers crossed!

That would be hilarious! Ricky and Steve were hilarious during the Emmy's!

I can see it happening in the very last episode of THE OFFICE (which would be at least an hour-long series finale), almost at the end of the episode. Michael's last day at Dunder-Mifflin before he moves on to whatever with whomever (is JACKAL ... Jan + Michael ... totally beyond resurrection? Or Holly truly the One?). Pam knocks and says "there's someone here to see you", and in walks David Brent. Pam leaves and the two have an epic conversation. Followed by Talking Head segments from both.

It would surpass the diner scene in HEAT (where DeNiro and Pacino finally meet onscreen).
