CAT FIGHT—NICOLE RICHIE (“THE SIMPLE LIFE”) AND BEN SAVAGE (“BOY MEETS WORLD”) GUEST STAR—Chuck (Zachary Levi) learns more about Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) past when they run into her old high school nemesis Heather Chandler (guest star Nicole Richie). Sarah’s teenage insecurities come to surface and she tries to avoid Heather at all costs. Chuck, on the other hand, does everything he can to hear more about Sarah’s hidden life. When Heather’s nerdy husband Mark (Ben Savage) turns out to be a key player in a new mission, the agents must attend Sarah’s high school reunion to prevent the sale of potentially dangerous super-bomber plans -- all the action ends with the ultimate cat fight. Meanwhile, Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence) leaves town for a day and Buy More’s new assistant manager Lester (Vik Sahay) decides to implement a new sales policy. Adam Baldwin, Joshua Gomez, Scott Krinsky and Julia Ling also star.

I hope nicole richie is making her first and last appearance on this show. I can't stand that girl

When i first heard she was going to make an appearance, i was a little skeptical.
I could only put one show to her name...And it sucked.
So i had big doubts about whether she could pull it off...Still kinda' do.

But reports suggest that she really shines through in this episode of Chuck...
I've read glowing reports on her acting and how well she got along with the rest of the cast..

So for now, i think i'll wait until the episode aires before i pass anymore judgement on the girl .

i didn't watch the clips but that's like the whole episode there...lol...i don't remember if there have been other shows where there are sooo many spoiler clips for future episodes...i'm trying my hardest not to break and ruin the fun...one episode at a time for me...i shouldn't even be looking at this thread...lol...thank goodness, there's no major spoilers here.

From what I have seen so far Nicole Richie does alot better than I expected (was expecting the same as Paris Hilton in the OC).

I'm really looking forward to this episode...

1) Sarah's real name
2) the first three episodes are supposed to run the 'releationship' theme. This is the fourth episode so maybe it will seem a little...'refreshing'
3) And of course...Seeing how Nicole Richie performs...One fight scene in particular

If that's the case, then the producers are going to probably try to put the Chuck/Sarah romance on ice and make their relationship pure business with a friendship. And I'm gone. We didn't start the fire, to borrow from Billy Joel, they did. And this is a big ol' bucket of ice water. Not interested. For those who don't care. Enjoy the show.

DN1, it doesnt mean to say that after the first three epsodes, we wont go back heavly to the Chuck/Sarah romance...Because we will..
In my opinion, this is going to be a well drawn out thing...
We'll touch base with them...Then we'll back off...Then we'll be back on base..

How long they will stretch it out i dont know...

I'll quote Zach and what he said in an interview...

"And so they're going to string it out as long as they can. And I don't blame them because, you know, you look at another NBC classic, Friends - Ross and Rachel.

You know, Ross and Rachel, everyone was like oh my gosh are they going to get together, are they going to get together? Then they finally do and the ratings kind of took a dip. And they're like well what the heck is going on?

So they break them up again and everybody is watching the show. So I think that, you know, people want to see the tension. They're rooting for them - you know, for Chuck and Sarah to get together.

But we can't go there yet, you know. We're all hoping that we'll, you know, have a healthy span of, you know, five to seven seasons - god willing. I have no idea what NBC has in mind."

DN1,don't give up on the show because you think they are going to chuck/sarah relationship on ice, from seeing the spoiler clips on other site I can say that they havn't put it on ice, It isn't the blaze it was in the seduction episode but the fire is still there...(If that makes any sense?)

I appreciate your sentiment on this issue but, first, to 'touch base, then back off, then touch base'... Doesn't that sound VERY annoying. Josh Schwartz et al. should NOT be afraid to move forward on something he started. And this applying the brakes gives me that very feeling.
And, second, Zach Levi is an idiot regarding comparing his show to 'Friends'. Yeah, Zach, that's what I said. 'Friends' was a half-hour sitcom. It also consisted of an ensemble cast -- and that part's very important as there were many episodes that didn't even deal with Ross and Rachel, while Chuck IS the title character and Sarah is at the core of the show with him. Finally, in 'Friends' final year it was in the top 10 so their romance did not hurt the show. I just don't want to be jerked around and am expressing my opinion because I'm a fan of the show and don't want to see it derailed by this serious issue in the writing. Stalling the inevitable can look very transparent very quickly.

I told myself not to mess with those spoilers ever again, but unfortunately I couldn't resist. All I can say is the promotion sneak peek previews for this episode are beyond awesome. I can't wait!

from what i saw in the photos i can tell what her real last name is...but her real first name is a little blurry but i think i kinda made it out...i have my guess for it...can't wait for this episode...curious with how they will both act with each other...and why in the world would sarah invite chuck to her hs reunion...my guess is that it's a mission...and yvonne's senior picture is priceless haha...i'm excited to see how nicole's acting chops are...she's has a fun personality so i think she will do great...only 6 days again...omg, monday's are usually dreadful for normal working/school people but for chuck fans it can't come fast enough...lol

Argh. I couldn't resist watching those clips. Still wish her name was Ivana Lisa Porsche though. Speaking of which, haven't seen her Porsche this season.

wow steve you are good i mean the second i saw them i went crazy even though every might when i go to sleep i tell myself that i will not read anymore spoilers and allow mysefl to let chuck surprise me but i just don't have it in me to do that


wow it's going to be good i hope chuck and sarah relationship become stronger because know i don't fell sorry for chuck like before because he wasn't thinking straight but know it sarah because she is heartbroken because of what chuck said because even thought she knew it would "never happen" but chuck was still positive but now his got to face reality.

I really don't hope that this episode won't have any Chara drama. That is my favorite part of the show! Eventhough I still will enjoy the episode if it doesn't have any, (it's Chuck for god sakes), I won't enjoy it as much. So any writers that read these message boards, keep in the romance!!! It was getting so intense...

I don't mind bits of Chuck and Sarah dynamic every few episodes, but it's starting to get too much now. Last night's episode didn't do a good job of it, in my opinion anyway.

Well like i said earlier in this thread...We'll touch base with them...And then we'll back off, and repeat...

Break-up seemed to touch base and then towards the end, it set itself up for a 'cool-off'...So this episode, i think their will be little aspects of the Chuck and Sarah dynamic shining through but i certainly dont think it will be as heavy as anything we've seen in the previous three episodes...

Maybe other aspects of the show will shine through other than those which have been strongly debated the past week or so...

I really want to see what happen's this episode we get to learn more about Sarah.

I know. I hated Mondays a few weeks ago, now i cant wait until Monday rolls around.

Well in effect in this episode Chuck learns her true name spying on her....and that ****** her off big time. Saw some scenes and yeah i will say that we won't see any romance going here, maybe at the end of the episode, but i won't hold my breath on that. Also i really don't want every episode be around their romance, i need some more comedy, cause this is a comedy, not a soap opera. And yes i want them together, but not too soon, i have some suspects that the xmas episode is gonna be it.

same here i really ahte the fact that sarah is kinda replacing morgen in chuck's life i mean it's not the same. but less romance pleasssseeee. and wow it's going to be funny when chuck funds out her name she will be soooo mad but she got nothing to worry about chuck will keep it safe. i hope there will be a good chuck and morgen scene and a chuck and sarah scene at the END of the episode because i am kinda sick of all the chuck and sarah drama i mean get on with it

Well this coming episode seems promising, and explains somethings about Sarah which was observed in the past. I was wondering about Sarah insecurities when I seen them for the first time with Bryce in season 1. It also explains her connection with Chuck because she was kinda nerdy and an outcast.

The writers I must say, are doing a really good job at storytelling. Episode 203 was a downer because of Chuck trying to compete with Bryce which I think screwed up the last mission more so than Sarah's feelings for Chuck and Chuck's feeling for Sarah.

The acting in 204, does look good. I seen the preview, and Riche does do a decent job at acting. It's funny how they stereotyped her as the bratty gal...lol Or in this case, a cold blooded killer who is bratty...lol

This episode will ease off on the romance for those that are worried. I'm excited to Sarah squirm a bit with Chuck teasing her about her background. The preview clip with him in the Orange Orange is hilarious.

I love the fact that the show is already knocking down some of the reasons that Chuck gave Sarah about why they can't be together. Chuck wanted to know Sarah's name and background and very soon he will.

And even more importantly, he'll realize that it doesn't matter that he doesn't know about her past.

I know exactly what you are referring to Bill! That will be a great moment! And that will give Sarah another thing to value about the kind of guy Chuck is.

That is true i wonder how she would react if Chuck got hurt.I wonder if that wil happen this season i mean it's a bad thing but Sarah got hurt.

That scenario would be extremely interesting. It would affect her on two levels - her professional one, where she failed to protect Chuck again and, much more importantly, on a personal one.

I'd love to see some collision between Chuck's real and spy world and an episode where he gets seriously hurt would be a wonderful way to do it. Especially, if he took a bullet meant for Sarah and something similar where he sacrificed himself for her.

well they are already starting to collide it starts affecting him this season.Chuck can't handel lieing and since his relationship with Sarah Changes quickly that addes to the stress.As we have seen early this season Chuck's relationship with Sarah Changes almost day to day.One mintue they break up the next minute they'r hitting on eachother again.And it seems to me breakup made they'r relationship stronger.But finding out her real name will be fun for everybody.

If they do have Chuck getting injured or shot I would be very surprised if it didn't happen while he was trying to save Sarah although they could have while he was trying to save Casey. With Sarah she would be heart-broken and angry with him at the same time. You could also have Chuck whisper something to her along the line of how he wished they could get married or something similar before passing out. It he was hurt saving Casey I could see Casey finding it almost impossible to follow orders to terminate Chuck if they ever came down, especially since he appeared to have a tough time of it during the 1st episode of this season.

lol...thats what I said a year ago when Chuck first hit the airwaves....Monday's took on a whole new look. Never late to work on Monday...since so hyped to see Chuck, I just wanted work over with to get home...lol.

If Chuck ever does get hurt...it really should be protecting Casey or both of them. The set up would have to be along the lines that there is absolutely no way for Casey (and Sarah) to avoid getting hurt unless Chuck steps in front.

Also, it has to be very clear that Chuck has a solid choice. i.e. he is not forced to step in front, but does it with the full knowledge of what he's doing.

Chuck could get hurt by being caught in a crossfire. Or better yet, kidnapped when Casey and Sarah are unable to protect him. He could have been injured when the Fulcrum agent pulled him out of Von Hayes mansion. Sometimes Chuck has to step away from Casey and Sarah to do something technical or Chuck-ish, and those moments are perfect opportunities to show Chuck's vulnerability to violence.

I agree with all of you. There should be an episode where he jumps in front of Sarah to save her from getting hit with a bullet. Then, when he's about to pass out he should mumble, I love you to Sarah. But that might put to much guilt on her... it a good idea though. Hopefully the writers read these blogs so that they can see the ideas we are giv ing them...

Great point! That hadn't even crossed my mind, but it seems so Casey-like. And while a lot of us have been trying to figure out what will happen next with Charah (myself, included), we tend to forget about Casey. Truth be told, I have a crush on all 3 of them. Chuck for his sweet, nerdiness. Sarah because she is beautiful (yeah, girlcrush). Casey because he is a sarcastic, straight-shooter.

What I want to know is how many people are going to be aware of Chuck's Intersect update. Sarah?...Casey?...Beckman?

It might of been a order to bryce from beckman to update the intersect, in that case she would know about it.
But if it was from bryce, I think chuck might tell sarah and casey and then they tell beckman?

i honestly don't think beckman ordered bryce to update chuck's intersect...general beckman is always saying how she wants the new intersect and that soon chuck will be done with them...but, she forgets to add that chuck will be eliminated...lol...does chuck honestly think he will be released back into the real world with all the secrets in his head...i can't wait till he finds out by himself...

Chuck will probably tell Sarah and Casey about the update. But if he is smart he should keep it to himself.

It will be curious to see how Chuck perceives his future going forth. After the latest update he should begin to question whether a normal life for him is still a possibility.
