I am so fed up with this soap! I watched for 25 years and got fed up once before and left for some years. I came back when Nichols and Evans returned. They are my all time favorites! However, they are totally ignored-only to fill in when some conversation about somebody else's storyline needs traction.
I DON'T CARE about Melanie and Chloe and Chelsea. I am sick of seeing Sami, Sami, Sami.

I want to see a real storyline for Steve and his new business! I want to see Kayla help him! I want them to work with Bo and Hope! Have more interaction with Marlena and John! These are the characters I watch for!

Bringing in more and more new characters, neglecting the super couples of this show is going to drive more watchers like me away who are tired of waiting and getting nothing!

I agree. They are wasting their talent by using them as filler. Steve is a P.I. now, they need to be using him to help with Trent's murder. And there is also another one coming up that they should use him for.

Higley killed Days for me

Im sick of waiting and giving Higley and Tomlin every chance.
They care nothing for viewers.
Higley is indeed the diva who wanted a good producer gone.
Higley does not like strong actors who get their character
She only likes milktoast stereotypes and repetition.

Well the Days of Sami whining and whining and egotism for EJ and Daniel and even Bo are now gone.

Im sad to see Days disappear but really Higley offers nothing and there is no reason for Days any longer

Ms Higley you are the reason people are leaving Days behind.

I know that the powers that be are always stressed to come up with the new YOUNG super couple, but the writers today don't know how to write for characters anymore. They bring on brats that we don't identify with, don't care about, don't like most of the time. Meanwhile, the well-loved vets are shelved.

The other problem is the time wasted on agendas.

I sympathize with Higley's experience with a special needs child. But Lexie and Abe's story of autism has grown into a big minute-gobbler. I watch Days for romance and suspence.

Although lately they have toned it down, the "green" soapbox has been a real turn-off too. Don't preach your political agenda to me. I can figure things out on my own!

I agree, and I'm all for green everything in RL. Just not on my soap, and not if they can't get it right. They make it seem like you need to retrofit your whole house to be green-friendly, and it's just not true. I kind of think that NBC's parent company GE is pushing this agenda, trying to sell new appliances.

I am sick of waiting for S&K too, but you know what else I am sick of? I'm sick of all of our S&K threads being moved from the main board!!! Geez, can't we have at least one left on there?

I totally agree. Where are they on this show? I think they've paid their dues on the backburner long enough.

I think the way Steve and Kayla fans have been treated by tptb has been awful. These two actor have great chemistry and long history and they should use them alot. I want to see them in A story with lots of adventure and romance!!!!!!

You would think that Corday would look at ratings and realize that they won't keep the fans they have unless they give quality time to the vet couples that we tune in to watch. I'm to the point where I read "Prevuze" quickly and don't bother to watch the show. WE WANT STEVE AND KAYLA!

You`ve said it all amaltie. I tuned out around 4 weeks ago and do not miss it. I`ll tune back when I know that S & K are on. I go through my daily routine, I tape, ff and erase. WTHAS&K?????
