Right! Let me take care of this from last week.
On My Way Now makes me all giddy and stuff. Heeeeeeeeeee! One of these days, I'll have a picture up. *blush*
Righty!
As much as the product placement invokes eye-rolling, the book that was being highlighted is a great one indeed. Go forth, and buy this book, and all the others in the series. Please make the check out to "CrabShaman", folks. Seriously, the books are eye-opening, and fun to read. Meanwhile, the chewing gum spot was hilariously contrived. Heba and the shining beacon of cuteness that is Amy saying "MMMMMM" in unison made me laugh my head clean off. I hope that spot got Bob a Maserati...or at least a jacuzzi or something.
There was a disturbing lack of Jillian in this episode, which made me sad. Yeah, a couple of weeks back I was unhappy with a largely-missing Bob. The irony isn't lost on me.
Still, the show is just as much about the trials and tribulations of the trainers as it is the contestants. It's about Jillian, the matron goddess of fitness, who cradles the hopelessly insane in her toned arms, once again doing battle with Bob, a heavily-tattooed pillar of integrity, as he fights to keep everyone on the level in the name of truth, justice, and the American way...and weight loss.I found the challenge to be less one-sided than it probably could have been. The Blue Team got utterly and completely whalloped last week, but the Black team made a match of it, rather than merely give up. Don't ever count out Renee, who has proven herself time and again to be "mighty". She could bench press a Buick and sing the national anthems of fifteen countries, in key, while doing it.
Cripes...I'm running out of things to talk about before I go into the exquisite integrity and maturity that is the Blue team...
Man, how I miss Phil already. He's a class act, and he really fought his heart out, not only with his own weight-loss, but also against the childish, petty, whimpering, bullying, political machinations of...
...you know who I miss? Neil. Man, I loved that guy. He could put the water away, too! Great fellow, Neil. Truly a handsome guy, with great taste in women. I remember that his girlfriend was just gorgeous, and kind, and fashionable, and supportive. I wonder how Neil is doing these days? I'll bet he knows what a mussel is, too! I could never, ever wish that he'd regain all of his weight and then some, and wind up on a Discovery Science Channel special. No way.
It's great to see that Phil will be back next episode. Oh, heck, it looks like at least seven of the nine eliminated people will come back. O, the drama! O, the brilliant success of the home team! O...the fistfight? I'm not holding my breath. It would be just loverly to see my hometown heroes on Green make a special guest appearance. Tom and LT will, with any luck, chew Extra sugarless five-calorie gum and kick some booty...and run out of Extra sugarless five-calorie gum (because they need it for a product placement spot).
Anyhow, now that it looks like they're back to singles, all the alliances in the world aren't going to mean a thing. If two blues go under the dreaded yellow line, kaboom! As ye sow, so shall ye reap. Karma...it's not just for hippies anymore. Amy, my quiet, sensitive, beautiful, loving, Jackie-esque feminine ideal, will hopefully come out of this totally unscathed.

Best. Show assessment. Ever.
It's Miss Noodles to you! Muhaahaha. J/K. No, I'm not angry, I just think some of the things that people are saying about the contestants is incredibly childish. Like someone said Vicky looks like ***** or something. That is completely uncalled for. Nothing to do with you.
