It appears to be a "game" which is something a lot of show's sites are doing these days. Personally, I simply find it annoying but a lot of people seem to like them. There's some Chevy advertising built-in to this game and (of course) if you enter your email address you'll most likely receive a little something in your inbox...I think I'll skip it. wink.gif

Hello everyone!

Personally, I can't WAIT for the 'game' to start with AJSunconsulting.

I got on board too late with the Heroes 'game'.... I wish I'd signed up
the first day.

I'm not making that mistake with MOWE.

Have a spectacular day!

AJ Sun Solutions... It looks like a corporate website page for investors. Is It? It's been described by another member of this board as something that appears to be a "game", where you apply for employment there, then create your own alter-persona.

Did you check it out? (See the My Own Worst Enemy promo page at the nbc.com website and click on the AJ Sun Consulting icon, or go to ajsunconsulting.com if you want to see what it is.)

I created this thread for members that went there, applied, and want to share their thoughts and experiences at AJ Sun Solutions with the rest of us on this board and for other members with questions about the site. As for me, I'm still undecided about whether, or not to give it a go. I might make up my mind to join if other members can offer enough feedback to convince me that it's worth my while.

In retrospect, I should have considered the possibility that not everyone checking out this board has seen the show, thus would have no clue that "AJ Sun Solutions" is where Slater's Henry character presumably works. It really does look like a corporate web site.

Also, I should have clarified my "corporate sponsor" reference in the previous post as "chevy". (Described as the "company car" in the membership application/careers tab at the A J Sun Solutions site.)

I'm just wondering, is anyone else having trouble signing up for the AJSun website? I've tried a few times over the past week, I've checked my "Junk" email folder... I've tried looking over the website for any possible contact info incase of problems such as this, but I can't find anything. So I'm stuck! XD
Any suggestions, anyone? Or anyone else experiencing this?? X)

I applied, it seemed to 'take' my info.
I have not heard anything yet either.
My guess is that it hasn't started yet.

Does anyone know how we might be able to find out when it's starting?

Today, I recieved an email from AJSUN Consulting informing me that I was "Hired" as a consultant. I have only access to the employee Handbook, which is vague.

It will be interesting to see how they play this out. At the very least, it seems that it will be entertaining.
Klara23
Strange. I got an email, and all it said was "To: All New AJ Sun Employees" and "From: Human Resources". That's it, that's all it said. I am able to recieve HTML email, so that shouldn't be a problem... o.O;
Klara23
Hunh... Even stranger. I just unintentionally highlighted the message and it's there... Is it supposed to be like that? X)
Well, in any case, problem solved for now, I guess! biggrin.gif

I got a "Welcome to AJ SUN" email today that included the employee handbook also. When I first saw the commercial I thought it was a real thing. Guess it's not.

Mine did that also. Highlight the blank area in the email. The font is in white. So it isn't showing up. There is a link you can click.

did you see the other two videos on the my own worst enemy website. They are of the same girl, emily beth kent, who is a phd student and has a missing patient oliver?
taryn_gabrielle
Yeah, I had seen those but then I saw nothing else afterwards... that's why I had wondered if she would return.

For those of you that "applied" to AJ SUN, How long did it take to get a response? I filled out the info about 2 days ago but still have not received any notice? Is it too late or does it just take a few days?

Thanks for any insight.
taryn_gabrielle
It took quite a few days from the time I applied to the time I was finally accepted. At least a week I think.

Ok still waiting for an e-mail after applying for AJ SUN Consulting when I noticed this message after entering the AJ SUN website: "Done but with errors on page". Did anyone else notice this when perusing the AJ SUN site?

Hi!

Has anyone else read the handbook?

Any idea what the business cards are for?

Zibani
Heh... I'd just like to point out that the Address on the card:

5210 S. Grand Street Los Angeles CA, 90070,

It's really just a house...

So why would they put someone's real address on there?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..................
pamindfw
I looked the address up on google satellite maps, and the 5200 area of S. Grand does look residential.

But, if you look at the ajsunconsulting website on the Our Consultants page, and click on the privacy statement, there is a photograph at the bottom of the page of some buildings. The round building looks like the US Bank Tower near the 500 block corner of S Grand Ave & the 600 block corner of 5th street. Don't know if that's important to the ARG at all.
Persy
Hey everyone. I just got the email too with the handbook and the business cards, etc.

Are we supposed to send an email to "emily" or something?

I kind of want to randomly hand out the business cards lol.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..................

When I put it into google maps or maps.live.com I get just an "approximate" address or an empty field.
