Live during the World Series, with two outs in the top of the ninth inning before a pitching change, Joe Buck was shown sitting next to Tim McCarver. Buck turns to McCarver and says "Well buddy boy, here we are in the top of the ninth with two outs...blah blah blah."
Although he did not say it as boisterous as Conan would have liked him to say it ("Buddy Boy") I think it is very funny Joe Buck does things like that when few people will know the reference. Mr. Buck has lived up to the dare. I respect him a little more than I used to.
Does anyone know what Conan dared Joe to say earlier, which he also followed through with?

I think he said "Jub-Jub" in reference to a name from the Simpsons that Conan created. If I remember right, Conan actually dared him to say "buddy boy" during the all-star game, which I guess he didn't do, but it was great to hear him say it during the World Series.

Aww, i didn't watch, and I missed it! Oh well, that's funny Buck does it. I've never liked Joe Buck, but him doing these things helps in his popularity with me. It would still be more funny is he said it the Conan way "Budday booiiyy" but I'll accept it

I could have easily missed it, I usually listen to the radio when the battery of Buck and McCarver are commentating. But this time I was lucky. Or should I say, lucky??
Yeah, its coming back now. I now remember some of the highlight from Late Night around the all star game. Buck said something to the effect of "With our own Jub Jub standing on the sideline (Chris Meyers?)... blah blah blah." It may have been a football playoff game; unsure of which one, which most likely would be an NFC (playoff?) game, probably on FOX as well.
I think it would be sweet if someone could share what they remember... what game, who was on the sideline, ect, when he said Jub Jub.

Actually when he had Joe on the other day,he asked him to say something new........he asked him to say......................."SHAM-A-LA.....SHIM-A-LA.......HOMINA....HOMINA........HAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!
