I noticed that some of the threads I started have been moved. Moved where? I can't find them, and it's a bit frustrating.

Health and exercise topics get moved to the Health and exercise portion of the website. It's one of the first threads at the top of the page.

First of all, when we move a thread to the proper forum, we leave a link for at least 24 hours: all you have to do is click on it. Secondly, if you click on your name, then click on Find Member's Topics, you will find every thread you ever started. Thirdly, if you click on your name, then click Find Member's Posts, you will see every post you ever made.
We are splitting up the Health, Diet and Exercise forum, so please be patient while we re-organize to make the site more user friendly.

Any other questions, please send one of the mods a pm,
read the FAQ's or
visit the Help Topics.

Ditto here! I thought when I logged on this morning something was wrong with the site! Now it feels like our playground got alot bigger!
Thanks Mods.
Will this get moved to a subforum? LOL! I hope not.. It quickly helps explain why the forum looks a bit different. AND it can serve as a 'kudos to the mods' thread!

This is great, I hope it will allow for a lot more individual threads as opposed to merged monster threads.
One additional suggestion for your consideration. With the exception of the top (The Biggest Loser) forum page, the GO and forum selector buttons at the bottom of each subforum home page point back to Forum Home as opposed to the actual subforum home page from which the thread being viewed originates. I think the subforum home page is usually where one wants to go next in those circumstances (at least it is for me), so this would greatly enhance the browsing experience.
I hope that made sense...
Thanks and keep up the good work.

In order to make the site easier to navigate, we have split the former Health, Diet and Exercise forum into 4 new subforums -
Diet and NutritionTopics related to diet and nutrition as well anything food-related and recipes!
Fitness (Exercises and Equipment)Talk about the gym, equipment, workout DVDs, clothes, etc.
HealthTalk about medical & health issues.
The SpaIf you're not talking about The Biggest Loser, or any anything Health, Diet, or Exercise related, post it here!
My humble apologies if there was any confusion over the last few days finding topics - the moderators did not know that the new forums were not visible to the general public while we were setting them up. So if you were looking for a specific topic, you should be able to find it now.
Again, nothing you read on the boards takes the place of your own personal medical professional.

Thanks! And I understand what you are saying, but the program doesn't allow us to skip from subforum to subforum.

So you have to go out to the main BL forum to make the jump from one to the other.
Oh, and forgive me for the confusion of finding threads for the last few days - chazee and I were moving stuff into the new forums and had NO IDEA that we were the only ones who could see them.

I kept getting PM's from people looking for threads, and I thought they were all demented or blind.

Oh, and I love the new setup! Soooo much easier to find stuff!! Thanks to idallia for setting them up for us!

I totally agree, it is easier to find threads on what you want to discuss and not merged and buried into long, ever ending threads.
For people like Koi, who complained it took to long to load a thread, should make it quicker for them now.
Some people may not like the change, but give it a little time, you may change your mind. And of course, if anyone has any more suggestions, just let us know, cause we are definitely listing to everyone's ideas. In fact, it was because of the complaints and suggestions, changes took place!

OK, I noticed the forum changes with the five sub forums. Personally I don't like them and would love to see them change. I thought given the season, and that people tend to have varied opinions, I would post a poll in case others felt the same.
My reasoning: I think that the subjects covered by most of the sub forums, such as diet, exercise, health, and fitness, are all very much a part of what the show is about, even if the topics discussed might not be specifically talking about the show. I find it very easy to miss posts in those forums and don't like having to click around and through five forums (the main one and the four I mentioned) just to see if a topic I am interested in or have been following has been updated.
My vote, move the posts back and kill those sub forums.

I like them... Gives different areas to locate things quickly so that topics don't get redundant (as often) coming up in the BL forum.
I don't view the other areas as often as I do the main TBL topcs. Sometimes I can see where there may be some overlap pertaining to something we actually see on an episode..
I think it will just take some getting used to... but they serve a purpose. Someone looking for health topics or exercise topics can look through a smaller 'pile' if you will.. than if everything was merged into one huge 'pile'.

Members requested a change. Some were not loading threads quickly enough and would give up. Others wanted easily to locate topics not buried into a massive amount of pages.
When I log in, I start from the top, check the little NBC logo on the side of every sub forum threads, if it's a bright color, then I know there is a new post. Now you may already know this, but I didn't, until we made the change.....I need to slow down a tad.

In addition, if there is a little square to the left of the thread title, that tells you others have posted since you last read the thread. If you click on that square, it takes you to the last post you read.
I found the former Health, Diet and Exercise subforum to be a mishmash of a lot of stuff. Now it's easier to find topics I am interested in. It also makes it more user firendly for people to find helpful topics in each subforum.
All topics pertaining to the show itself are still on the main forum, and there they will stay.

A place for everything, and everything in its place.
Thank you, thread closed. If things need to be adjusted in time they will be at NBC's discretion.
