Beautiful and talented Brande Roderick joined the internationally renowned hit series "Baywatch" (1989) in the starring role as lifeguard Leigh Dyer. Winning the role over hundreds of hopefuls, Brande convinced veteran writer/producer Frank South ("Melrose Place" (1992)) that she was the best person for the job. Now in its 11th season, "Baywatch" (1989) executives brought on South to bring new depth to the show, which will showcase Brande as the lead. A native of Northern California, Brande attended Santa Rosa Junior College with aspirations towards acting. She was last seen in "Playboy"'s April issue as Miss April 2000. Brande has appeared on television shows such as "Jesse" (1998), "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" (1998) and "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990), as well as in numerous commercials including Dr. Pepper and Snickers. Brande currently makes her home in Los Angeles, but she is looking forward to living in Hawaii while shooting the show.

Brande Roderick started her first company in 2000 called She-Ra Productions, a film and television production company. She also manages two other companies including Financiallyhung.com. Financiallyhung.com started out as an idea for a t-shirt, which then grew to the idea of using the name for a professional social network. In addition to "The Celebrity Apprentice," Roderick will be starring in a new reality show with Brooke Burke and Tracy Bingham called "Flirty 30's," a mix between "Sex and the City" and "Desperate Housewives." Most recently, she guest starred in "The Game," on the CW Network. Roderick also hosts a show on the Reelz Channel called, "What I Learned from the Movies." Additionally, Roderick has recently held supporting roles in several movies including "The Nanny Diaries" starring Scarlett Johansson, "Starsky & Hutch," "Dracula II" and "Hood of Horror" starring alongside Snoop Dog. Roderick will be playing for the charity, "CPYC – California Police Youth Charities."

I like Brande... I think she'll end up giving Miss Annie a run for her money! Beauty and brains. I loved it when Joan was in the boardroom telling The Donald how Brande was the biggest asset to the team and Annie was clearly irritated beyond belief!

I agree, I love Family Jewels and when I first saw Brande I looked her up to see if they were related, Brande and Shannon could be twins.

It's hard to argue with results.
She clearly led her team to success. She had everyone's cooperation, even Annie's. They raised some major money for a great charity.
Congrats on a great job and a strong win for the women's team.

I was wondering if anyone knew who Brande's "big donor" is??? I don't recall hearing his name but I think Annie referred to him as "Stu" or "Stuey" in the jewelery auction episode. Why is he willing to give her up to a million any time....? Is he just an enamored fan?? I believe she is married to an ex-football player but I don't think this is the big donor.
The other thing I am a bit curious about is why Brande hasn't contacted Hugh Hefner for donations...I believe Tiffany Fallon got the boot last year because of this. Maybe I'm wrong....
I think Brande's smart but I am surprised that she has gotten this far.

I liked Brande until about the last week or two. At first, I felt sorry for Brande. Annie has shamelessly used Brande to get further in the game. Annie is a poker player. A good poker player's best skill is findin and exploiting the weakness in others. Donald's history has shown a weakness for pretty women and Annie hitched herself to Brande to ensure a spot in the final four. Now, I'm disgusted that Brande is unable to see Annie's true colors when everyone (except Trump, I guess) else can see the lack of soul in Annie Duke. Brande is a moron.

Brande's 34 years old. She's been around the entertainment industry long enough to be responsible for her own decisions. She's raised a bunch of cash for worthwhile charities, hasn't held back, and has contributed to her team, regardless of who is on it.
I have no idea whether she "knows" that she is being played by Annie Duke, but I suspect she does. There are a lot of people on this board who feel that she's being used. If that's the case, it's too bad, she seems like a genuinely decent person.
Another possibility is that she has used her affiliation with Annie to get this far in the game, hoping that her contacts and the fact that she is widely underestimated will allow her to make a move in the final weeks.
Either way, I think she's enough of an adult to handle the consequences of her decisions.

I think she does know that Annie's been using her, but I don't think she cares. I'm thinking perhaps Brande figured she could ride along on Annie's coattails straight to the finals. At the finals, people are going to be gunning for Annie b/c she's perceived as the strongest player plus she hasn't made any friends in the game other than Brande. Brande just might be playing the player.

I think you are right. While she does not seem very bright, I think Brande is pretty shrewd. I
think she has been using Annie as much as Annie has used her. I suspect if Trump had told Melissa she was not going to be fired when the three were in the boardroom together after this last task, Brande could have laid out a good case against Annie and possibly gotten Annie fired..
Annie might have made a mistake partnering with Brande to get rid of Melissa. Annie might have been smarter to have worked to get Melissa to help her, Annie, get rid of Brande. Why? I think Trump would find it easier to fire Melissa over Annie but find it very difficult to fire Brande if it got down to Brande versus Annie.
I would have rather seen Melissa be out there with Brande rather than where things stand now - Annie is a real piece of work. I hope her self confidence does her in. I want to see Brande beat her out and feel she could. I thought, that strange "forgooo" word aside, Brande did a fairly good job defending herself in the boardroom - wish she had suggested Annie be fired, but that might have backfired as Annie is so quick and ruthless, she, Brande, was probably wise not to do that.
Good luck Brande (and you too, Jesse).

I suspect Brande is a lot smarter than "forgoo". She was VERY anxious to be PM on the last project b/c the next project's PMs are going to be a lot more vulnerable. Nobody can accuse her of flying under the radar b/c she volunteered to be PM last week. She hasn't made any enemies along the way. Now that Joan has accused Brande of being "stupid", nobody is going to be gunning for Brande, except perhaps the PM of her own team and that will only happen if her team loses. If's far better to be thought of as "stupid" than thought of as ruthless. And, if her team does lose, she can blame the PM in the boardroom. If her team wins, she skates right into the finals without ruffling any feathers.

she can be shrewd but it makes me wonder how effective that is for her when she's not got a man to play towards or use. I'm not saying she's not raised money or done good work, but from what I seen I wouldn't say she works as hard as others.

That is ridiculous that they are calling her "dumb". She really did do the best job on the show. She was by far, the most polite, charismatic, intelligent, politically correct, and honest. She was polite and didn't bash others like the rest of the contestants. I am angered and ashamed that they would imply that she is an ignorant blonde on national television. They only comment on her beauty. (Which, she is absolutely gorgeous!) However, now I think she is even more beautiful in the fact that she stuck with her own morals and character. Good job Brande! Now that your off, I don't want to watch the show. Boring people to look at too. steve

I agree - if she was not fired last week as PM there was no reason to fire her this week - really poor rationale! I would have liked to see Brande and Jesse as the final 2. It would have been a worthwhile show next competition - seeing how two nice people, both intelligent play it out. But wait their downfall is that they are liked by others and could motivate their "helpers" to a win without the historics (sp?) we are going to witness....NO we are going to be treated to name caller (Joan) versus one foul mouthed total control freak (Annie). Is that the world in which Trump operates? Might explain our current economic situation.

Brande should not have been fired . This was a mistake on Mr. Trumps part.
Pierce's comment about demeaning the show was silly and short sighted. The show
would have had far more appeal with Brande continuing in the final and given the show
a much needed breath of fresh air. I was very disappointed with this call.
Brande's comportment during her departure demonstrated a wonderful degree
of class and panache and was very impressive.
