I'm so frustrated NBC is cancelling this show. I hope they show all 13 episodes. It has a lot of potential and at least makes sense compared to the falling Heroes. I think NBC needs to realize the long-term potential and at least give it a full season to catch on . I've finally started watching Network TV again, but if they keep cancelling all the shows I won't keep watching new ones. Why invest my time in shows that are just going to get cancelled. Please give My Own Worst Enemy a reprieve.
It was the only show that I watched on NBC faithfully. After the football season I have no reason to change the channel to NBC. The show is original, intelligent and a definite change of pace from the CSI's and all the other spin offs. Bring back my favorite new show!! I was hooked...

My Own Worst Enemy is the only show my husband and I both enjoy watching. It is very hard for us both to agree upon anything...he likes pure action, I like plot and character development. "Bones" was our show for a few seasons until the writing went downhill. We were on the way to turning off the cable completely and reaching for the Scrabble board, when we discovered My Own Worst Enemy. It has great action, an intriguing plot and excellent acting.
We are not going to give up on this show, and sure hope NBC doesn't either!!! Give it a chance!!! Give it some additional publicity!!!

I just heard this show was being canceled and I'm stunned. There are not many shows out there that I watch, but this is one of them, as a matter of fact, it is the only show that I do NOT miss on Mondays. I have watched it from the on-set and yes it does need a little fine-tuning here and there, but give it a chance to evolve. It's intriguing and is a show I recommend to everyone who asks about it. There are so many things out there that I will not watch, but this show is not one of them. I have really grown to like the show. After the first episode I wasn't completely sold, I'll admit that. But I haven't missed an episode yet and there is so many places to go with this and it continues to get better and better. I really hope a petition goes around or something to protest, because yes, I'd sign it. Alfrie Woodard is superb, Christian Slater is, well Christian Slater - I think he does an astronomical job of playing two leads. It gets better every week and I sure will hate to see it go.
RE-THINK THIS ONE NBC - PLEASE!

Dear NBC,
You have very few shows this season that are even mildly entertianing.Chuck is fun for family hour, as is Crusoe.Since these are good, well writen, family entertaiment shows , I doubt you will hold onto them very long. I have come to expect that from you. I was happy to find a new show this fall that did not mold itself out of L&O or CSI. Not family, but great for the adult that wants a little more out of a show than fingerprint dust. This too, I did not expect to last long on your station. You did not suprise me. So please go back to the drawing board and give me another rehash of something twice baked, just like I expect. Dont try for clever and get rid of any writers with that have passed puberty. We wouldn't to think that hard. Apparently, you don't either. You've got KITT to do that for you, right?

I can't believe the only interesting new show on network TV is being cancelled. I watch online so it doesn't matter to me when it airs.
I like Christian Slater and the analyst character is getting interesting (Oh I hope the writers don't make her nicey nice)
Heroes needs writers...they are just chasing their tales having lost track of what made that show interesting (Clue: Hiro) You might as well cancel it too.
Oh well, back to Netflix instant view which carries CBS shows and STARZ as well as a nice stock of movies.

I just wish they would move it instead of trash the show Christian was SO Amazing..It deserves better, He deserves better and thus give Medium back its successful time slot.
I like Medium and have missed the show... but I love them both for so many different reasons.
Medium is usually an off-season show that starts in January. Why, I don't know. I like it too when it is available.
I watch the shows online since reception is poor here in the mountains.
I'm astonished NBC would cancel such a good show before it's hardly out of the gate. There are so many totally "won't be missed" shows they could axe instead.
I want to know more about that analyst. Moonlighting 2 jobs...one as a hitperson???? LOL

This is what I wrote when I signed the petition. I think this best explains how I feel about this terrible idea to cancel such a ground breaking, original, amazing show. NBC can't afford to make too many big mistakes, so I really feel they should reconsider this one.:
This is the best written and executed TV show that's been aired in years. I really believe it would be in the network's best interest to give it another shot. I've never cared about any TV show enough to sign a petition to keep it on the air. This one is different.
Question to consider: Are ratings counted on shows that are TiVo'ed or DVR'ed? The primary demographic for this show is approximately 25-45. These are the people who are just getting their careers going and still balancing a social life. These are the people that watch all their TV from their electronic recording devices, and if you're not taking that into account, you may be missing a large fan base.
Also your marketing scheme is way off. You should be more clear about the actual premise in your advertisements. The show is much more clever than it appears to be.

I am so frustrated the NBC has cancelled My Own Worst Enemy! This is a great show and NBC did not give it time to find an audience. I cannot believe that they are going to air a Rosie O'Donnell variety show and cancel Enemy! I think it lends credence to the argument that NBC is out of touch with viewers.

I don't understand it.
They have the best story-line/plot spy adventure to ever be on TV.
Exceptionally visual sets and backgrounds.
Talent that we love and admire.
Smashingly good adventures, complications, twists and turns.
Endless possibilities for character and plot development.
And, instead of trying to place the show on some other night, against some new programming less audience established than Monday Night NFL Football and CSI Miami; they scrap the whole deal for who-knows-what, that couldn't possibly be as entertaining as My Own Worst Enemy.
NBC, ... you are your own worst enemy! Taking this show off the weekly schedule is a huge mistake.
Blowing it up, with its great potential, is a real bad move you'll soon regret.

NBC-please reconsider the cancelation of MOWE! So many of these postings are correct. Slater plays a fascinating character so brilliantly!!! I've always been of fan of his and he's only gotten better with age. This series seems to have been written for him. The show is smart and I can see it only getting better as each week brings out new possibilities and ideas. We as the viewing audience have not only invested our time and commitment to this series but we appreciate "good tv" something we don't get today with the reality shows. If NBC can change it's mind about Lipstick Jungle because the fans sent lipstick, then we need to be creative. So, let's all email Chevy, the major sponsor and let them know that we would appreciate their continuing sponsorship and ask them to make the network put the show in a decent time slot and give it a chance. And also, let them know how unhappy we would be if they gave up on the show too.
The Chevy contact link is
http://www.chevrolet.com/contactus/getinformation/ which leads to an email form. If you click "I have a comment about your advertisements " then you will get a form with a space for comments.
I find it hard to believe that "Lipstick Jungle" fans are more passionate about their show than we are.
BTW, as with many of you, this is my first time caring enough about a show to even go to the show web site, let alone join a message board. NBC should consider that the people they are upsetting by not giving this show a chance are people who previously didn't care enough about tv shows to get involved. Now they are; that has to be worth something, doesn't it?

It's not just about Christian Slater. Overall the entire show is great. The story, production design, acting, stunts, etc. Are you cancelling because there's no sexy product placement (like a black Mustang, perhaps)? If that's part of the problem, try doing what was done in the movie, "The Minority Report". The Lexus logo was used on that red car. Have a company's logo on all those futuristic computers used in Janus (Dell, HP, Apple, Sony, Samsun, LG etc.). Ask them if they'd like to showcase future product concepts on the show. It might help, NBC. If this network keeps cancelling quality shows, NBC could soon also stand for NoBody Cares, or Nothing But Crap.

I can't believe that MOWE is being cancelled. Every Monday since it has started, I've told my husband I was going up to the bedroom to watch tv because I had a date with Henry & Edward. This is a great show. Aren't we all getting tired of Reality TV? It has gone beyond out of control. It's nice to watch something that keeps your interest, that makes you think, that makes you frustrated that you have to wait another week to see it again. Heroes is becoming the dud of NBC. A few episodes of MOWE and it's being cancelled? The country has hardly had the opportunity to see where this program is going. What are the execs of NBC thinking? Oh, that's right. . . they aren't.

You have got to be kidding me! Cancel MOWE? Are they out of their freaking minds? I have recorded every episode so far and watch them all the time after work. I cant believe anyone could be so stupid as to cancel such a great show. Its like they are saying that they dont care about the fact that they have a great show that keeps us all in our seats, a great actor and I love the story to it! I love watching Edward have to fix the few mistakes of Henry and watching Henry argue with 'himself'. It's funny!
If any of the Executives of NBC are here this, let me state that you are making a mistake canceling MOWE! Dont do it! You Will Lose a lot of viewers, including me, my whole family and all of my friends. This is too good of a show for you to cancel!

So I fell asleep Monday night during My Own Worst Enemy and just watched the episode on line (thank you NBC). While watching it the following thoughts ran through my mind.
1: This is a really good show; good writing, good acting. Christian Slater is excellent and the supporting cast shows a job well done by the entire producing staff in getting the right people for an excellent show.
It's a shame that NBC didn't stick with it.
I keep reading in the papers and magazines about NBC having a hard time getting people to watch their shows and I'm thinking - Monday: I turn on NBC and stay with it from 8 - 11; Wednesday from 9 - 11. That's 5 really great shows that they have on!
My Own Worst Enemy and Life should have been featured on USA network as well as NBC as part of USA' Friday nights or even Bravo for additional viewership.
I understand that it's too late for My Own Worst Enemy but honestly, what a shame because as the story evolved it only got better and more people would have been drawn to it.
Life on the other hand - is the best show on TV - keep it on and thanks for giving it a pick up for the entire season.

How can they tell if it's being recorded when your recording two at the same time, or watching one show and recording the other?
