Conan's big day is looming next year. I've watched this show since the early 90s and have always enjoyed his brand of humor. There is something they got right from the start and that was Andy as the comic foil, and without Andy on the show, it's somehow less than it was.

I think if Conan/NBC announces the return of Andy, they'll be off to a really strong start. I'm no authority on this or anything but i really liked Andy and I think it's a pretty darned good gig for him.

A few other thoughts:
don't change the format, writers, taste in bands or pace. (basically, don't douche it up with new LA writers)
Also, Take Pierre Bernard with you.

I don't know how the transition will go but Letterman did it to some degree and is still on. I think Conan has a more broad appeal than Letterman ever did.

Anyway, hopefully they'll at least keep the format and tastes. i don't want a dulled-down version....
