Well as soona s we found that his son was a flipping good martial artist, and was even said to be very good by Edward.

I strongly expect that near the end of the show, some bad guys will come aroudn to the house or elsewhere and s!t will hit the fan , edward is with the family, the family gets threatened etc, the son comes along see this or is in it, see his "dad" start doing his stuff and either edwards gets a slight beating and the son comes in and does his stuff, and then his "real dad" comes into effect and sees his son saving the day.

Don't you think they are working on a clean sheet of paper trying to get everything "Worked-out" for an open-ended finale'.

Rather than see any more developmental material coming; I strongly suspect that we are going to see a way for the show to bring down the curtain without leaving a whole lot of loose ends.

Ought to be a hour and a half or two-hour show.
They have to officially out Edward to the family.
Out Janus.
Resolve the Mental Institution kidnapping.
Rescue the Kent girl. (The karate-boy can do that!)
Call off the dogs trying to find-out if Edward is broken or not.
Un-break, fix or heal Edward.
Waltz-off everybody into the Sunset leaving just enough behind to resurrect the whole nine yards if somebody is smart enough to pick-up the show and let it breathe.

Well that would be new. I hate it when they end shows mid season. They really didn't even give this show a chance. i think that they wont give it an ending. just like they didn't end bionic woman or tru calling it sucks!!!

Wow, man! Step right up and select any prize off the Top Shelf.
I didn't put that together until I read your Post. Brilliant. I am sure it isn't just a Product Placement for Chevy.
Like they say about any prop you see in show business ...

If there's a gun on the table in Act-1 ... you can expect someone to get shot before Act-3.

So the Camaro finds a home in the Spivey Garage.
A new tool box shows-up; a nice surprise from dad.
Father and son will double-team getting the Chevy fixed-up.

Where do you think we'll find the link?
Console? Glove compartment? Under the seat?

Good eyes!
Nice catch.
People are really paying attention!

NBC is going to cancel the show.
The show is not going to appear on NBC after Episode-9
The CREATOR & Ex. PROD still holds-on to Property.
NBC had a Big Hit-Show Jones when Slater signed-on.
Everybody loved the show -- except ONE guy.
The dim-witted moron who placed the new show right up against fierce competition.
The show STILL brought-in a half-way decent audience despite being on against:
Last Years SuperBowl Match-up -- Football -- Monday Nite
The Major League Baseball World Series --
CSI Miami's Season Opener which was heavily promo-ed to tease the possible death of a CSI.

Still, ... an audience formed.
Opening Night was magnificent!

In case you missed it ... here's what the Critic's had to say:

"Far, far, far and away NBC's best new pilot of the season and one of the best new shows of the season, on any network -- commercial or cable!
Under the direction of ol' TV directing pro David Semel (Jason Smilovic is the other executive producer), "Enemy" is engaging, devious, head-gaming and genuinely fun.
But for my money, here's what's most noteworthy:
Slater hasn't been a major star for so long that it's easy to forget just how genuinely gifted an actor he is; no need to go into how Slater became his own worst enemy, and then seemed to disappear altogether (to the stage, and I think he might have even voiced some cartoons to pay the rent), but the guy brings this ridiculously conflicted character into full, Technicolor life!
Semel lights the face with great skill (deep in shadow, to convey the Mr. Hyde part of this persona) and then Slater does the rest."
