Hey Sorry if this has been discussed before, im kinda new to these boards so if you have the quick answer that would be great. But in season 2, episode 17, Jim Halpert decides to take a trip to Australia during the time of Pam's wedding. I realized that her wedding was canceled and he moved to Stanford, but I don't remember any information on whether he actually went on the trip or not? Thanks!

Paul Lieberstein in an interview during S3 said that they were working on the assumption that Jim had not gone to Australia, but they weren't, (and haven't) said so in the show itself, so they could retain some flexibility if they decided they did need him to have gone.
