I have been informed that in addition to the 2-hour Christmas show to air on December 25, the $2 million episode featuring Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers will be airing the next night on December 26.
After that, they will air another 2-hour episode on December 29, where the top prize goes back to $1 million and they made enough air time to fit three contestants playing on that episode.
After that, the show is on hiatus (pending doom) for a few weeks. No word if NBC will bring it back in February 2009.

The Dec. 29 episode was only one hour, and there is a two hour Jan. 1 New Year's episode. More episodes are scheduled in 2009.
