1. I would like to see Tony becoming suspicious of Nichole, her pregnancy and her relationship with Brady.

5. Rafe comes to EJ for help after being attack.
6. Sami has her baby at the church on Christmas Day.
7. John is torn between two doctors and he starts to remember his past life.
8. Stefano visits Kate at the Hospital, and then punches Daniel's eye for not being a good
doctor, hires new doctor for Kate.

first i would like a reseloution of the ej/sami/nicole/rafe/brady trapazoid. would love to see stephano being a bad,bad boy again. bring rolf back on. make john remember himself but keep some of newjawns mannerisims(sp). bring back princess gina. let sami tell ej the truth allready and for what ever reason make nicole totally bat poop crazy. thats what i want to see.

Devil_Doll, I like your ideas regarding Sami and Rafe. Having them pass off the baby as his is a great way for them to be able to come back to town

I could go for a few of the items on either list really. Not all of them, but a couple peak my interest.

Devil_Doll you just wrote six month worth of excellent primary storylines. And it took you all of how long? It's not that difficult if you know the show and love it.

The problem is that neither Corday or Higley do. They don't want it to succeed.

Well thank you for saying that Theresa that means alot to me. As for how I'd feel if they used my work and didnt give me credit? I'd be a liar if I said I wouldn't like to get some credit for it, I mean we all like to be recognized if we do something good and I'm no exception to that, but at this point in the show I'd just be happy if they used it at all because I want a good storyline and I want this show to survive. Why do you ask?

Two reasons. I was curious and before I started posting my script elsewhere, some of my ideas were used without credit give. They were only plot points. That's all these writers could handle. My storylines are much to complex for them to deal with. Even what they did use they screwed up. For example, this past spring I had Bo running for councilman. (Since my script is running way behind real time, he still is). They switched out Abe for Bo as the one running for political office. But where they screwed it up is the timing. Bo made the filing deadline. Abe didn't announce until three weeks before the elections. It was unreasonable to think a person could start a campaign much less get elected in three weeks.

I also had Sami going into protective custody long before the Mayor was shot. It had to do with Lucas giving state's evidence. John arranged for the four of them to be hiding out at one of Stefano's houses. It's where John and Marlena are reconnecting. It's also where Sami learns the truth about who shot EJ.

These writers can only handle one plot at a time. I think I have seven running with the primary being the ghost story that is about to rap up; it will launch another from it, but that one will go to a secondary position, while one of the secondary will be front burnered.

That's how it's done. You need storylines that not only move forward but ones that use the whole cast and are multi-leveled.

Wow, I think I'd feel flattered if I was you if thats what they're doing. I'd love to see my stuff come to life like that. The thing is even if they used every idea on this board as long as they'd change one or two aspects of it, it would no longer be considered someone's original idea or even if they did it exact there's no way to prove that they didnt have the idea first. I mean like me, I'm speculating on what I'd like to see happen with the way its set up so far....and since they set it up this far it'd be really hard to go out on a limb and say that they didnt think of the same thing long before I did since they're the ones that set up the ground work for it to begin with, know what I mean? So I keep posting my idea's hoping that if they didnt think of it already that they will grab mine and run with it, that's how bad I'd like to see a successful storyline for this show.

I don't know how much attention the writers or the actors pay to this board but I think or would hope maybe is the phrase I should use instead, that if they like someones writing they'd get in contact with them and ask to use more of their stuff or ask for their idea's or whatever the case may be. You never know if that's really what's happening with your stuff maybe you'll hear from them at some point asking for more.

I love some of those ideas... here are a few more...


1. Rafe delivers Sami's baby girl on Christmas day and they grow a lot closer. However, Sami decides to give the baby up for adoption and sneaks away to the convent to do so, but Rafe stops her and convinces her to keep the baby with him...and he will pass it off as his own.

2. After the hit man is caught, Hilda returns to Salem with Sami and Rafe and "their" new baby. She meets Steve and joins him in his private detective business... Rafe has to remain in Salem until the trial is over, so he accepts a temporary position with the Salem PD.

3. Sami is torn between Rafe, a man she is helplessly and hopelessly falling in love with and the other two men she has had feelings for... Lucas and EJ... She realizes that both have moved on without her and that what she had with them, and Austin and Brandon was just mere infatuation compared to her feelings for Rafe...and the more she tries to deny those feelings the stronger they get.

4. EJ is suspicious whether or not Sami's baby is really Rafe's... b/c of Sami's reaction to him when he notices that the baby looks just like Ali....he vows that he will get to the truth... one way or another...

5. Rafe becomes involved with the Dimera family in more ways than one...it begins to look like he may be related to Tony and Anna...

6. Nicole has the opportunity to adopt a baby and does so... she fakes labor at the clinic so that Dr. Baker can pass the newly adopted baby off as her own... there is a mix up and the baby she adopts is none other than the baby she "miscarried" that has now been in an incubator and has grown to full term under Stefano's and Rolf's supervision.

7. Stefano discovers that his heir is missing and has been replaced with the baby Nicole was supposed to get. Stefano vows revenge on the imbecile responsible for the mix-up and anyone else involved in the mix up... he is determined to get revenge upon the person who has his heir and get his heir back regardless of the cost...

8. Brady is determined to save Nicole from herself but accidentally let's the cat out of the bag that Nicole miscarried. EJ, determined to get at the truth has DNA tests done on the baby proving that it is his and Nicole's flesh and blood. EJ thinks that Brady is out to take Nicole away from him and vows that he will see Brady dead first.... meanwhile Stefano has learned just exactly how Nicole pulled off the baby switch...and he's not happy that Nicole and EJ have their baby... HIS heir!

9. Brady is Nicole's sole confidant... they begin to get closer as the secret begins to unravel.

9. Tony finds out that Stefano also has Zack Brady, alive and well (and SORAS'd), because he could never get over Lexie having to give him up to Bo and Hope.

10. Bo, Hope, Tony and Anna go on a mission to find Zack along with Steve and Hilda... and of course, Kayla is not far behind...

11. A new woman comes to town... Noelle Curtis (daughter of Neil Curtis and Liz Chandler)... Phillip is smitten with the newcomer. Melanie and Stephanie form an uneasy alliance against Noelle... who has a gambling problem like her father had... and like Phillip had at one time....


OR...

Max, Stephanie, Melanie, and Chelsea could just get permanently locked in the Brady wine cellar... days of wine, song and incest much? LOL, j/k

There is a internet radio show that is based on the soaps called Buzz Worthy Radio. Bryan was on not long ago. I asked one of the host and he confirmed that the writers and actors do visit the boards. I was briefly able to to talk to Bryan when he was on; unfortunately, my internet hiccuped.

Anything posted on this board is fair game for them to use. I knew that when I posted my storylines. At the time, it was just a protest that I didn't thing would go any where. If it was just a couple of ideas it would be one thing, but it was consistant. I'm a professional writer. My scripts have won awards. My novels are selling well. That's the difference between us. It would be like at your job if someone else was paid for the work you did. I have approached the show for a job. Hell, I have the direct phone number to Gary Tomlin's office. And since I am a real writer who knows how to do research I found Ken Corday's home phone number as well. If I wanted to be a bitch--I'd post them and make their lives a living hell. But that would be slitting my own throat.

As for getting the gig, at this rate it would be a temp job. If I could get it before the end of the year, I could turn it around in about six weeks. I would need at least four before the Feb sweeps to do the set up because I couldn't use any of the storylines I've already posted. There are two sweeps left before summer. Dee and Drake leave just before the February sweeps, which means the ratings will tank for the first. The writers simply don't have it in them to think outside the box to create the storylines necessary to turn it around. Them are the facts no matter how you slice them.

The writers and actors do visit the boards???? Amazing Galen's wife hasn't come thru the screen at me yet the way I slobber all over her husband. Uh, sorry Mrs. Gering. Well that's what they always say but seriously I think those guys are way to busy to sit on a message board and read all this stuff...maybe the writers, but I just don't see the actors doing it.

Oh boy am I in trouble!

Not according to the host of the show. The actors have mentioned things they have read. The conversation happened in the chat room so it isn't on the show. But he said that they do. I've started posting the replays of Buzz Worthy on my Days blog. The one with Bryan is up already. Along with Brandon Barash from General Hospital and an actor from As the World Turns.


As for the slobber, that's been you and your keyboard. I don't think she minds if you drool or daydream--but if you touch you might pull back a bloody stump. But I that's just my speculation.

Here are the stories that I would like to see


1) Bo and Hope I would like to see them involved in a stroy about Ciara since she is not used all that often. They could have her find some type of edvidence to a case that they are working on like maybe when she is playing at the park she finds the kife that the hitman used to cut Rafe.
2) Steve and Kayla I would like to see a vow renewal.
3) I would also like to see a Stephano story. He could try and get revenge on the town and they could have an umbrella story with the Bo and Hope and Steve and Kayla.

This is some of the ideas I like

1. Rafe to end up a long lost relative...I like the idea of Tony's son
2. The new shrink and Rafe to have some kind of past together.... Maybe she was working with the feds to help bring down a serial killer and the two of them got involved. of course the relationship went downhill because of his career. I think when Rafe comes back to town, and they will be shocked to see each other . she is jealousy of his connection to Sami.
3. I would like EJ to get a tip about the killer ans rush off to save Rafe and Sami right before she goes into labor. "Sorry fans of Rafe and Sami...and Nicole and EJ..........But EJ deserves to be at the birth of his second baby" I would like a nice passionate moment between the two of them when they realize they still love each other.
4. I would also like to see EJ supress his feelings for Sami temperarily because he thinks Nicole is still pregnant with his child and he wants to keep his promise to Nicole. Sami runs to Rafe for support...therfore starting the EJ/Sami/ Rafe triangle.
5. As for Nicole.....somehow steffano needs to find out and use it against her. She leans on Brady for support and she realizes she is in love with Brady not EJ. But it might be to late.
6. I want Steffano to have a love interest... someone who really sends him crazy and he can not stand... but is intrigued
7. I would like Steph and Phillip together....maybe next wedding????
8. WE need a couple more murders...
9. a few more kids...lexie needs another one
10. I would like Victor and Caroline to hook up
11. Last but not least....EJ and Sami to finally find their way back together, and maybe a wedding that is wanted by both, and a happy ending...... for a while!

I would like to see that happen. I always wondered how being switched at birth would affect him later on so I would see a grown up Zack.

I seriously doubt she's to worried anyway over a snowed in yankee in North Dakota that's posting on an internet message board, it's embarassing enough that I'm even here doing it the last thing in the world I want is for him to see me do it, so just humor me and lets pretend they don't read it.

I hear you about being snowed in. Northern Michigan is under ice. No they didn't mention my work. although they have talked about elsewhere. I have a google alert set up on my name; whenever, I'm mentioned on the net, I get a notification so I can check it out.

Bryan chose his words very carefully especially when he was asked about Dee and Drake leaving. He was very forth right and open when he talked about his life, but when it came to the show, he did some mighty fancy tap dancing. Either, he is very good at playing humble or he simple doesn't realize how handsome and funny he is--not that I have ghost of chance; I own shoes older than him. It wasn't what he said, as much as how he said it that spoke volumns.

I would love to see that myself... and I've never really reconciled that Zack is really dead... that was such a heartbreaking s/l that I would love to see it come full circle, especially since no one really "dies" on a soap... I think that would make a great s/l and it would play right into the Dimera-Brady vendetta...and the way Stefano feels about his "heirs" I can see that he would not want to give Zack back to the Bradys under any circumstance!!!

1. Bo discovers he has ESP and goes to Celeste for Advice in what to do about it.
2. Steve and Kayla have a wonderful snow fight then they discuss Stephanie and Phillip. Steve has trouble with the idea his daughter is with Phillip. This could start how new story for 2009.
3. Rafe is indeed Tony and Anna's son taken away from them, when Anna had thought she had a miscarriage she was lied to. Rafe is here is Salem to look for his biological parents and take revenge on the Dimera for taking his family away from him as a baby.
4. Victor and Caroline grow closer together at a Christmas Party which they are the only ones that had shown up.
5. EJ get suspicious over Brady that Brady fears for his life and soul that he needs father John Black to help him.
6. Sami wishes that Rafe is EJ especially when she is near in having the Baby.
7. Hope tries to help Nick out of Prison. She thinks he should have gotten shorter sentence.
8. Marlena is shocked to find someone from her past in her office, it is Eugene Bradford. He wants to spend Christmas with her and John.
9. Roman gives up the police department and takes over the pub.
10. Both EJ, Lucas, Rafe help Sami in having the Baby. Almost Three Kings on Christmas Day.

Maybe they are going to bring Zack back it seems like a lot of people are bringing his name up on the show. You are right I always thoght that they might bring him back as a teenager.

There have been better ideas listed here than there has been on the air for almost two years. You all care about the show. Most of you know the characters and the show's history. That is the difference. The writers just want a pay check. Dena puts more effort into her blog--as if anyone cares about her and her family. She makes it about her; you all made it about the show.

I think if I were a dool writer I would care about a pycheck if it was just a show I was hired to write for. However most people here have been watching since they were very little so they learn about the charactors throughout the years.

that would be great... the SORAS would be a little odd since he died when he was six on New Year's Eve in 2005... this NYE he would only be 9... but if EJ can be SORAS'd from being 10 to 30-something I guess anything is possible!!! I would love for a 15-ish Zack to be the Christmas miracle!

Writing isn't like most other jobs. If you aren't passionate about it--if it doesn't light you from the inside, you can't do a good job. Just showing up won't work. Writing comes from the inside. If you can't relate to the characters--if you don't know their histories--then it is like introducing a person you have never met. I have seen no evidence of such writing on Days even for the characters they have created. Paychecks are important, but if that is the only reason you are doing it--find another line of work; go write for a reality show where character, plot and storyline doesn't matter.

Anyone can put sentences in the proper order with the correct spelling and grammar; it takes a real writer to put passion and thought into storylines that people find interesting.

If the writers are new to the show, there are about a half dozen books that tell the history or better yet watch the show. The study has the history in archives. Do a little homework. That's part of the job. It's called research. If they aren't willing to do the work, they need to find someone who will and that goes from the top down!
