I love that he gave her *their* flower today. It was great. They make such a great couple and the actors know it and the prop department knows it. Now let's hope the writers get it together and give us Phloe in 2009!
Yes, Philip gave Chloe the Fire & Ice Rose. Now if DOOL would just use their song, "I Need You" by LeAnn Rimes, I'd be thrilled! 
Phillip didn't need to do that....he could have brought her a friggin' gladiola.........he WANTED her to have that special flower. Such a sign.....finally a scene together and it's full of hope, promise and history. Bring it on........Phloe 4 ever!!!
Just when I'm so over it all, they suck me back in. Yey, to the Fire and Ice rose. I really think Phloe is coming. Maybe not in the next few months, but it will eventually happen.

I totally agree that the rose has some real significance. Because if all they wanted to do was show phil thanking chloe or bringing her flowers they could have gone for any random bunch of flowers or a single rose of any colour and it wouldnt have meant anything special. But they specifically used the fire and ice rose, knowing that fans would recall the history. Philip once told her that the red was for love and the white was for courage/bravery (or someting similar)
We know philip admitted to morgan(only 2 months ago) and Chelsea that he still loved Chloe. Not long after they had JKJ and NB filmed the E! special about sexy love scenes. NB told us that these scenes were only filmed for E! So obviously TPTB were planning on P & C in some form otherwise they wouldn't have promoted them surely? They could have chosen any actors from the show but they chose those two ...to show chemistry in a love scene
Now that JKJ has re signed i think the option of philip and chloe will be explored more now. This will need to be set up because they've already filmed scenes showing Dr McCreepy Lucas and Chloe S/L. And scenes with Stephanie and Philip have been shot *gag*. It did feel to me like these scenes at the hospital with the rose may have been recently added, possibly a re shoot. I could be wrong but the spoliers which are normally weeks in advance mentioned nothing of any phloe intercation or that scene with lucas and philip discussing her. It was only mentioned like a day or two before on prevuze.
Either way - it was great to see Chloe and Philip actually in the same room together! You can tell he still cares. LOL they didnt let him get too close to her though...they know if nadia and jay kiss even justa peck on cheek or mouth ...it will be full of sweet chemistry! So they had him standing away from her
