Your mission if you choose to accept is to name the shooter and why. The first correct answer wins....my admiration and a pat on the back.

Here is my thought on the matter since I really don't have a clue who it is. My feeling is that we will not have to witness a long healing process for Charlie. My gut says that when the show returns it will be as if the six weeks it is off will be in "real time".

1. Charlie will be less likely to use his gun in the future be cause he knows it still hurts in the afterlife.
2. No one will find Charlie's conspiracy wall as there would be no reason to search the house when the shots came from outside.
3. Ted will be back home. It just seems like the right place for him to be after Charlie gets shot.
4. Maybe Charlie and his dad will bond over wheelchair races.
5. Rayburn is becoming more intriguing. Is he putting things right...or cleaning up loose ends? Is Charlie going to be an unwitting pawn...much like I sense Jack Reese was?
6. My feeling is that someone from the Bank heist is now in the DAs office and one of the missing faces on the wall.

Constance. She'll be back. I believe she knows something about the heist. She would be too younf to have particiapated, unless she was a rookie cop, but I doubt that. She however is somehow involved in teh cover up. Who shot Charlie? Jack Reese on orders from above, possibly Roman, but only wounded him intentionally.

Olivia. She's mad because Charlie shot her fiance, and she's mad that Ted's in jail.

There was a spoiler in next week's TVGuide: Charlie knows who shot him, but isn't telling anyone, and is dealing with it on his own.

Olivia did it...I just don't trust that girl.

And yes, someone in the DA's office is pulling strings.

My money is on Jack Reese. The guy rubs me the wrong way and I want it to be him.

how crazy would it be if charlie sent rachel away to stay with jack reese to keep her safe from roman. the first time we heard rachel talk and laugh she with jack in that hospital, and he was saying goodbye to her.

If Olivia really did shoot Charlie, Christina Hendricks played virtually the same character in "Firefly". Both characters were so sweet that you didn't see the devil in her until it was too late. Or are you just giving us a "red-headed herring"? LOL

The only flaw in that is that I would assume (and I know we shouldn't do that) that she knew Charlie's dad was OK because he was expecting her at the house. That girl needs to make up her mind too...does she want Charlie's dad or Ted?

There was a spoiler in next week's TVGuide:

If that spoiler is true, my money is on Rachel or one of her buddies (like the boyfriend). Think about it.
She already sold Charlie out once when she was stabbed. The kid is confused and conflicted and Charlie
gives her a lot of rope to play with.

I really don't have a solid guess but what happened when he was shot, in his head(the weird dream sequence) had me wondering. Why did he see Tins? I know that he was the last peron that Charlie killed but then again maybe that seemingly random vision has something to do with the person who shot him.
When he opened the door by the look on his face it seemed like charlie saw some one or smothing before the bullet got him.....

Any how,I'm probably wrong but its nice to ponder!!!!

I don't think it was Rachel and after watching "Trapdoor" again again...I am second-thinking my notion that he sent Rachel to Jack Reese because he asked her if she had her passport. Unless Jack is out of the country too...I don't think that is where Rachel is.

Still leaning towards Jen's current husband...I think he figured out Jen and Charlie slept together.

My next guess is agent Bodner...letting Charlie get "re-born" and they just put away Roman...finally...I hope.

I'm going for the ex-partner. He's been too close to Charlie and under suspicion for a long time with his connection to the robbery before Charlie was convicted. I obviously am going to the most remote of ideas.

Russian Mob potentially.

How about Dani as a Manchurian Candidate? Dad has had a long time to work on her.

Have we ever seen Olivia and Charlie's Dad together? Olivia might not really be Olivia, huh? I hope I'm remembering correctly.

An old enemy recently released from the prison Charlie was in?
