I've been watching the US version of The Office since it first premiered.. I absolutely love the show! Now, about 6 months ago, I purchased the entire UK version and loved every moment of the series even more than the US version, which I never thought was possible.

Characters such as Tim, Gareth, Dawn, David, and even minor ones like Keith, Donna, Rachel, Lee, Neil, and Jenny were all played very well.. Now, after checking out all of those actors, most of them arent really doing much with their careers.. Does anyone think it could be possible to see any of the UK actors in the US series anytime soon?? The main characters I'd love to see are Tim, Dawn, and Gareth mainly.. I know Ricky Gervais is part of the production staff of the series, so he technically could make it happen If he wanted to.. I'm sure those of us who have seen both versions would agree..

I mean, how hilarious would it be to see Gareth and Dwight arguing about who's more important to the world, Fire fighters or soldiers? I'd love to see them two square off and argue over anything just to make their point, which normally turns out to not make sense at all but is hilarious nonetheless, lol..

Now, one question those of you could ask is, how could they incorporate these characters in the US version, since those 3 are basically equivalent to Jim, Dwight, and Pam. Well thats simple! Have Gareth, Dawn, Tim, and even David be part of another Rival branch on the verge of shutting down. BUT, instead of having that branch shut down, have Scranton's dunder mifflin get the axe. Then, Michael, Jim, Pam, Dwight, Angela, and Ryan would have to move to the branch controlled by David and the UK cast. The rest of the US cast would be laid off and taken off the show,,, they suck anyway, so I wouldn't miss them at all.

Now, if that seems to far fetched and tough to pull off, then you could always have David's branch get the axe which would bring him, Gareth, Dawn, and Tim to Scranton's office.. But that would be 4 more characters to add which would mean a few of the US actors would have to get the axe. The dumbest characters are Meredith, Phylis, Creed, and Stanley. You could throw in Kelly and Oscar as well, but the 4 I wouldn't mind losing to make room for the UK cast are as stated above.

I'm sure it could be done, and personally I think the humor, dramatics, suspense, and multiple story arcs could be much better than it is now. What do ya'll think?

Not happening. Most viewers wouldn't pick up on the British style, don't know the characters, and wouldn't spend the time trying to pick up the accents.
