I was so confused by Nathans sudden switch. I was thinking why would he go against his brother when peter has been right so many times. He was dead set against his father and then he just changes his minds and gives an order for all people with abilities to be quarantined. When Arthur died he seemed to get younger, like when candises ability ceased. I know she is dead but many people can have the same ability.

I think they killed past Arthur and present Arthur is pretending to be Nathan using that ability. That would explain the change in his attitude. Peter also said something about "your acting just like him".

I don’t know if this is off the wall or it is just because I love Nathan so much but i just cant see him doing this. I know he almost let New your blow up bet he stopped it and learned from it.

What do you think? I have not been on in a while and don’t know if this has been discussed yet.

cool.gif Oh, I'm glad to see, that I'm not the only one. It drives me crazy that I'm strictly convinced about the fact of Nathan being not Nathan and no one is there to talk about. So I'm very glad about having found this speculation thread.

However Arthur Petrelli did it, probably with Tracy's help (?), I'm sure that Arthur stole Nathan's body. That's why he acts like he does. I noticed the strange light around his body and Nathan's confused look in the fire.
BTW I think, that Adrian Pasdar imitated in a very subtile, brilliant way the behaviour of Arthur Petrelli. Nearly not noticeable, because Nathan is such a stiff character sometimes, but I'm pretty sure, that he did this on purpose.

I so hope that Peter will figure out what had happened to his brother and will help Nathan to become the good guy again.
I will never believe that he isn't. laugh.gif

Thanks for the possibility to share! biggrin.gif

Honestly ... this theory wouldn't make much sense.

Both seem to have different objectives.

Arthur actually wanted to see a world where people with abilities rule. (Powers sold to like candy)

Nathan wants to banish / eradicate those with abilities.

nathan may want to pick and choose who rules and who dosnt. look at the way he treated peter and claire in the "clear and present danger" episode. he was trying to get them to his side. it was only after they turned him down did he try to send them away, his own daughter excluded, but he still wanted her out of the picture.

until nathan says it i cant back this up very well

Sorry ... I just think Arthur is gone. (Atleast for this run)

They got rid of him on purpose ... he was TOO powerful.

Nathan is Nathan ... he just believes that what he is doing is the RIGHT thing to do.

I don't believe Nathan is actually Arthur in disguise.

Really? I have always thought that Nathan gave off the "sneaky bad guy" vibe since season 1. HRG as well.

think about t dude, if they killed past arthur there wouldnt be a present arthur to body snatch nathan

the glow around him was the catalyst dieing

he didnt get younger whn he died.he got lighter then darker cause of the catalyst

it would be cool if this was the case but arthur is gone and nathan is an a55 now lol
