This was a good one. Things I liked:
The confrontation between Lupo and Cutter.
The way McCoy bothe chastised and supported Cutter.
That slimy attorney. The actor was very good in that role. He reminded me of John Ritter in some of his bad guy roles.
The one thing was the judge's accent. It bordered on parody to me.

Wow that was something ,wasn't it! I'm enjoying the love /hate these two have. I always thought Cutter was not impressed by Lupo but then when he took him under his wing when Lupo got in trouble upstate well it made me think that was all in the past..But once again it reared it's ugly head only to come full circle when Lupo saved his rear end, at the end of the episode.
I recently told a friend who said she hasn't watched Law & Order for a few seasons because it was old hat, that she needs to watch it again. This ain't those old fedoras that your uncle used to wear!!! ...speaking off....I love you Lupe...but what's up with the stocking knit cap? Hon, I'm from Boston & I know we all need to be warm...but...well...you ARE on tv afterall..you can do better..((GRIN))

This was an excellent episode. I love the fact that they are making it seem as though Cutter is getting tired because in all actuality, most people in this situation do tire really quickly. McCoy's character doesn't usually exist. Their "civil servant" job is a tough one. That being said, I was glad that McCoy tore up the paper. Cutter's arguing was adorable and although most people may not agree, if Lupo had played dumb cop instead of cocky law student, they would have gotten away with it.

I absolutely LOVED this episode. It had everything in it! Twists, drama, even some personal concern!
Of course, Linus Roache (Michael Cutter) is my favorite and his scene with Sam Waterston/Jack McCoy made my night. The bathroom scene was just icing on the cake.
And is it me or do Linus and Jeremy Sisto have some serious chemistry????? I admit I'm biased. I think Linus Roache would have chemistry with a lamp post!
IMHO, one of the better shows of the season.

With a lamp post? I had to laugh out loud on that one. Yes, they do have great chemistry. I think the entire cast has great chemistry. Each of them separately and collectively as a group.
I'm surprised at Jeremy Sisto, though, I think he has grown into a beautiful actor and he has certainly come a long way since his days as Elton on Clueless.
Sam Waterston and Linus Roache have always been great actors, of course.

Lamp post. Dog. Shepard's Pie. I just love Linus!!!!!!!!!!!
And I agree, this group is great together. I 'm really looking forward to L&O again.

My first real intro to Sisto was Kidnapped. I had seen bits and bobs but he just didn't do anything for me at all but that changed with Kidnapped. I loved him in that and have developed a real appreciation of him in L&O (especially with Linus). I'm partial to the scruffy look. He just looks way too innocent with no facial hair to me.

I couldn't stay up for the ending. Is there a website that replays the entire show (as NBC does with many of their shows)? All I can find at nbc.com is one scene which I was awake for.
