I am just reading the first book, but I saw the movie last weekend, and I'm in love with Edward! he's 2nd to Johnny! OMG i think the book is awesome, and I'm only on the first chapter! After work I'm going to read more.. and maybe today at work! haha

I'm loving the first book too! Its easy for me to understand it because i've already seen the movie, but I'm excited to see how the book will be.

Well, when I fell in love with Edward it wasnt when he walked into the cafeteria. I thought he was way too pale LOL, I think it was when he saved Bella from the van crashing into her that I fell in love. From that moment on I couldn't get enough of Edward. He's so mysterious looking, exotic almost. It captivates me!

Also, it reminds me of when I was in highschool, i would have totally LOVED to have a boyfriend like Edward.. ohhhh yeah

Maybe Beacuse I was already in Love with Him when I read the books and before the movie came out!! LOL... Edward.. Jasper... Emmet.. Carlisle...

Oh and I was wondering, you know that indian guy? The one that is Bella's age? Is he a vampire too? I got the sense that he was a vampire or something else... like warewolf or something?

You know how I feel about Twilight Miss May! I am almost done with the Jacob part of Breaking Dawn and I friggin' love it.

In Sept a teacher I work with said, you have to read the books so we can go see the movie. So she tells me these books are about vampires and werewolves and a love story. I was so not interested!!! Then November rolls in. She calls me on Weds night says, I have the tickets for Friday!! I was so confused!! She screams TWILIGHT. I am like oh. Ok. I was so not interested!!! I never looked at a book. I never saw a movie trailer. Never saw anything movie spots on talk shows. Nothing. All day Friday I hoped I could of got out of it. We go to the movie. And I SWEAR, I was trembling, on the edge of my seat thru most of the movie. I was hooked. We walked out and straight to get the book for me to read. I don't get much time to read, life prevents that. I am on book two, almost done.

Two weeks ago for my birthday my girlfriends and I (two of the first ones to take me on opening night)drove 1 and a half hours to watch the movie!! Took two other friends and got them hooked.

Lets see I think I feel in love with Edward, when he had her on the mountain and had her pinned against the rock. So hot, his body moving forward and back. yep will stop now {wink wink}

I do think not reading the book first made a difference for me. I liked not knowing anything. I liked not knowing what to expect. I wanted to hold off reading the next book, but I couldn't!!

I have since seen the movie multiple times. I did take my oldest son to see it after a lot of nagging. I can't wait to buy the DVD in March.

That is so awesome how you saw the movie without knowing anything. That was the same for me. The reason why I saw the movie is because SO many people on the message boards talk about how awesome Twilight is, so I had to see it. I took my boyfriend with me two Sundays ago. We both had no idea what to expect. At first I thought, oh this is a highschool movie, but after the first 5 minutes I was intrigued! And as soon as Edward came in.. that was it, brother..

you know whats weird? After I "fell in love" with Edward.. that very moment, when Edward wasn't in the scene, i couldnt wait till he came back again LOL. I think its a good thing I haven't seen it again.. because I'm afraid I'm going to be the way I am with Johnny and I've gotta tell ya, its exhausting sometimes! But oh so worth it!

I seriously cannot wait to read more of the book tonight.

Savvy, you have to see it again, you will notice stuff you missed before!!! Like when he was walking in the cafeteria and Jess was telling Bella who they all were. He gave this kinda smirk. I realized the next time I watched it it was because he was reading her mind. Knew she was telling Bella not to waste her time....

It only took me 12 days to read all four books. Breaking Dawn was my absolute favorite and it was in that one that I finally liked Jacob. I always hated how he would say things that he knew would hurt Bella. If he loved her so much he wouldn't have said things knowing they would hurt her IMO. We were supposed to go see the movie yesterday but my hubby had a meeting about his transplant so now we are going next week to see it. I can't wait and just hope I enjoy it as much as I do say the Harry Potter movies. Even though the HP movies always leave out things from the books that I think should be in them I still always love the movies.

I absolutely love Twilight ive read all 4 books 3 times love the movie but the book is definately better and ive seen that 6 times also Twilight is my favorite out of the series Team Edward all the way dont like Jacob at all hes too much of a dramaqueen when he doesnt get his way and hes always making Bella feel gulity for loving Edward and finally something to keep me distracted of the trainwreck known as Days Of Our lives

I finished the last book last week and although I wasn't enjoying it it got to me I guess because I am now having Edward withdrawel....Loved the series I guess it maybe hits you when you realize it's over.

I really want to see it again!!!! But its not playing at a lot of theaters anymore I'll have to search.

Do any of you know what the movie will be on DVD?

The dvd is out in May. I have watched it online if you are interested in doing that.

Over all I love the books. I must say I was a little tried of every thing Bella. I felt like Edward was pushed back in book 3 and 4. I liked book 2 becuase it really was needed to make since of Jacob part in all this. I found his story interesting too. I have also started reading Midnight Sun that she release on the net. I am enjoying that too. I hope she finish it up. I love reading anything Edward is say or think. OK I love Edward. I wanted more Edward. LOL

The dvd comes out March 21

I haven't seen the movie. One son told me it was great, the other wasn't so impressed. Both were forced to go with their girlfriends. LOL I can't wait for it to come out, but I already know what my husband is thinking. LOL I talk Twilight with the girls and the guys all leave the room. LOL

Finally finish the books and watched the movie, and I loved it all. My 18 year is reading eclipse now and it is so much fun to talk to him about a book we both enjoyed, because generally we don't care for the same types of books. All of the Twilight banners are great.

Finally saw the movie yesterday. Loved it!! My husband even loved it and I wasn't sure he would enjoy it as much as I did. Can't wait for the dvd to come out!

I am happy that you and your husband enjoyed the movie. I don't think it was as great as the book IMO but the movie still was very good.

I've seen the movie twice.. and i've loved it even more the second time. I seriously cannot wait until the second movie comes out. I'm definitely buying Twilight when it hits the dvd shelves as well.

I just finished reading Twilight, the first book, and I loved it. The book had so many more things that happened that the movie left out, which is normal, but now I know the story better.... I'm now on the second book, New Moon, and i'm in love still.

I was thinking, if I were Bella I would definitely be the same way when it comes to her wanting to be a Vampire and be with Edward forever... I just hope that she does become a Vampire someday before she gets older..

The other thing that I wonder is what will happen if bella does become a vampire? She can't handle the smell of blood, how will she be able to drink it all the time in order to live? We shall see.. LOL

Oh cool beans a place for Twilighters! COUNT ME IN! I have read the books multiple times! Love them love them love them! Honestly I think that Twilight and Eclipse are my favorites, if I had to choose. Midnight Sun is amazing and gives you such insight to what Edward was/is thinking. Anyhoo, I am excited about New Moon movie and I think Taylor (Jacob) Lautner looks great! He packed on like 26lbs of muscle for the movie. (although no one can compare to Edward) I think that Dakota Fanning is going to be a great Jane as well.

Hi Ana! OOO I can't wait till I get to read Breaking Dawn!! I'm going to be starting Eclipse tonight I think, I can't put New Moon down! I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday to get Eclipse and the girl at Starbucks talked to me and said Eclipse was her favorite book.. And then other people said that they liked Breaking Dawn and then Twilight and so far, I like both books, maybe twilight more.. so we'll see about eclipse!

Hey Jenny! I loved all four books with the exception of New Moon only because Edward was barely in it. But Eclipse and Breaking Dawn are excellent. I love every moment that I was reading them. I think I am going to have to re-read them they are that good.

im actucally looking forward to see the breakup scene because I hope theres more emotion in the movie then there was in the book especially from Edwards Pov also i know theres alot of debate on whether or not they should put Edward in more or keep it close to the book and not have him appear until hes suppose to im kinda torn because i just love edward but at the same time it would make the reunion so much better if they do show him more i would want it to be how he is coping with the separation

honsetly i think this series wouldve been better from Edwards Pov instead of Bellas only because i think Edward is more conflicted thoughout the series than Bella is

I hate that book...I thought it ruined the series in a way. It felt rushed. I will compose a post about in a day or so.



I would have loved to have half a book in his pov...especially since he can read minds but not hers...would have been nice.

midnight sun is my favorite, and i love them all!!! new moon was my least favorite my first couple times reading the books, but then the 3rd time i started to like it. i don't hate jacob. the way i look at it, bella would never have been able to experience being an irresponsible teenager without him. and he helped her so much after edward left.
i'm really excited about the new moon movie! i'm hoping since they made so much $$ off of twilight they'll be able to have better special effects and all that. i'm a little concerned about what the werewolves will look like.....i hope they just use regular wolves, or at least not fake looking animals. i read somewhere that they are going to have scenes of edward while he's away, which i wish the book would have! i hope someday SM finishes midnight sun and then does the next 3 books from his POV! i'd love to know what life was like for him after he left forks in NM, so that should be really interesting in the movie. the only thing that bugs me about taylor is he is not native american!!!!! he's really cute, but it aggrivates me!

I just watched Twilight for the first time with my daughter yesterday. Gotta say I loved it! I truly wanted a vampire boyfriend after that! Is that wrong of me?

naw...it had so many different things I hated...the birth scene...Edward gnawing the baby out...pimping out Bella to Jacob...oh I could go on.




I only didn't like the Bella...I thought she was horrible...my favorite scene was when James almost killed her. But that cute Rob Pattinson was yummy...with his James Dean looking self.

i think edward could have been cast better, and bella REALLY should have smiled more. i realized i really liked the scenes where she wasn't so gloomy. it annoyed me so badly how it was obvious RP forgot his lines in tons of places. jasper's in pain face drove me crazy too.

Bella wasn't as gloomy and downy in the book...all the boys loved her! She was supposed to be a lovable klutz...KSTEW was none of that.

I want to have a vampire boyfriend as well.


I don't think so but we agree to disagree then. I really enjoyed Bella's special ability. She was always special but she never thought that she was.
