chazee

At a young age, brothers Alex McCoy and Nate McCoy have a lot of restaurant experience. Their love of food and restaurants is something they both share because their mother is a chef.

Zan was offered his first head chef position at the age of 17 and is now head chef and bar manager at Rugby Food and Spirits. Than received his Culinary Arts Degree from L'Academie de Cuisine in 2007.

Although both are competitive with each other, together they hope to open a Southern-French fusion restaurant.

So, I used to work with "Zan" in MD..... he went by "Alex" then..... he had to be the most EDIT I'd ever worked with.... He was lazy, childish, and never was a team player, he was more like a "wanna be playa" he thought he was all that and that woman just wanted him! HAHAHAHAHA Seeing him on this show, LAUGHABLE. He hasn't changed a bit, except that he's gained about 20 lbs! and as far as his 'claim' of being 'offered' a head chef position, I didn't realize McDonalds had head chefs!!! Whats up with changing your names? Oh I know, probably realized that "Zan" would be called out... so here i am calling you out Glad you didn't win, you didn't deserve to...

Seemed like a pretty genuine and nice guy on the show...

Wow, what an immature post. I have worked with Zan (Alex) for several years and he is one of the best people I have worked with in the kitchen. Not sure where you get off on calling him "lazy" or "never being a team player." He takes the time to show everybody how certain things are to be done and I have not once seen him get impatient or talk down to someone trying to pick up the tools of the trade or see him brush someone off and not be eager to share his knowledge of cooking.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.
