Does anyone know what the theme song was at the beginning of the show.

That was Duffy, the album is Rockferry. The whole album is amazing. My favorite song on it is Rockferry...or maybe distant dreamer...It's really a great album

I am looking for a quote from Chef White that was in episode 2. I have watched the show on the website and have not heard it again. He said something about "no rules...no disipline...no consequences." I would like to get the complete quote and believe it would be a great addition to his Marcoisms. I am hoping someone can help me. Thanks

Does anyone know what kind of knife MPW uses when he prepares a dish for each team?

I don't know what he uses but Henckles are great knives, just make sure it's German steel. they are pricey but I've had the same set for about 10 years now, they seem to hold their edge better too.

Many professional chefs will choose whatever knife from whatever company suits their need (e.g. a Global chef's knife, a Shun paring knife and a Henckels slicing knife) so it's possible what you see on the show is not just one brand.

BUT... the credits do list Henckels. When the camera pulled away after he broke down the rabbit, the handle laying on the board with its exposed tang and slightly curved handle seemed like a Henckels Twin Cuisine.

My question is, and after seeing the salmon and chicken which was thrown out....

Would it be at all possible to attend a taping or I just could wait outside the restaurant and instead of having what is still most likely completely edible food ( even tho' it may be slightly over done and not suitable for the diners) thrown into the dumpster.....have it put into a tray and I will take it home and eat like a king for week ?
