What a bizarre performance! What was wrong with Jack? Was he on the verge of crying? I was surprised to see Meg with a guitar. Why didn't Conan interview them? They didn't speak at all. How do you all feel about the song choice? It was very sweet, but I was hoping for a real jam. Thoughts?

They were trying to do a unique performance for the final show. I would have preferred the original version of that song, but it was what it was. Conan didn't interview them because it was his last show and he has interviewed them before; this wasn't the day for an interview. I'm sure they'll be on the Tonight Show.

Yeah it was a very different rendition of "I can tell that we are gonna be Friends" but I think it was the perfect musical guest for the last show, I think Conan was very happy that they would go on his last show for him. And his final goodbye on late night, I was almost in tears it was awesome. And as many a studio audience has said... "YOU ROCK CONAN!"

Glad to see I wasn't the only one thrown off. Jack seemed sick, or maybe emotional? I guess that's possible. He just couldn't hit the notes

Yeah I loved the last episode but I'm not a huge White Stripes fan. So how strange they were was even more off putting for me..

Yeah,it was cool and all.....but i expected a big rock n'roll extended jam extravaganza from the stripes.......but it was all quiet and understated.......at first i was like,"well that sucks"......but it won me over slowly the more i thought about it....."i can tell that we are gonna be friends"......like at the beginning of a relationship?......but if it was the "end".....why play THAT?.......i think it's because Conan is starting over with the new show.....so its kinda like meeting for the first time all over again.....yes?........no?...........hmm...
