I've been watching the show but I am missing some information. I did not see the first 2 episodes yet, so some questions might have been answered in those shows. As we know, Sarah's Dad was the creator of KITT's AI. He also owned Knight Industries. At what point in time relative to the show was Knight Industries created. Based on the name, I thought Mike would have something to do with the company. Other than the name and working there, Mike seems to have no ties to it. We know he was chosen as the driver, so I'm assuming that was long after Knight Industries was around. Was Mike's Dad or a relative somehow working with Sarah's Dad in the beginning? In last nights episode, we saw that Sarah's Dad owned Knight Industries, and now Sarah does. Sarah's Dad mentioned a name "Willy" I think, in last nights episode. Who is that? Any info is appreciated.

Ok, so I just found out Mike's last name is not Knight, it's Traceur. I missed that somewhere. I still want to know who "Willy", or the name Graiman mentioned at the end is though.

It's not Willy. It's Wilton Knight. The person with whom it all started back in 1982. He was the last of the empirial families. His dream to make the world a better place with the use of technology at hand. His company created the first Knight Industry cars. But his competitors knew that their illegal operations would be destroyed if Wilton Knight gained the stronghold. So they poisoned him. In his final days, he changed the mission directive of the Knight Foundation and created the Foundation for Law And Goverment. Instead of putting his car of the future on the market, he redesigned the concept to fight those who operate above the law. Fight those who were killing him. He believed that all the legal tape could not help him achieve that goal. But he also believed that one man could shake the these people and bring them to justice. When they found Michael Long, who was shot in the face, he had the doctors reconstruct Michael Long's face into that of his own (as they didn't know what he looked like before, I guess they never thought about checking his driver's licence), and Michael Knight, the Knight Rider was born.

Mike and Sarah dated before the series took place until he disappeared. He was deployed to Iraq and lost his memory, as was told in this past episode, but he had proposed to Sarah before left and didn't remember.

Also, his dad is Mike Long (aka Michael Knight from the original series) who drove the original KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand). The KITT in this series is officially Knight Industries Three Thousand.

You my friend, are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for filling in the blanks. How did the viewers find out Mike Long is Mike T's dad, or is it just assumed? I also had no idea the new KITT is Three Thousand. I need to see those other episodes.

we found out when mikes mother was killed in the pilot episode. You really need to see those first couple of episodes HunterX3 !!

remember though Stu, the pilot was really a "backdoor" movie which they used AS a pilot, to help fill us 'old school' fans in on what happened the last 22+ plus years. Before I even heard of the new series, I always wanted NBC to do another KR series; based DIRECTLY on the original series. And I agree with most of you, TKR was just bad in a campy sort of way; but they did have a few good eps.

recently, I have been rewriting my story KR:TNG, as it had to be erased because I couldn't access it anymore. In it, I introduce four new AIs, and give KI2T a rebirth inside the body of the 2010 Trans Am concept, with updated interior; tech, and steering wheel as well.

As for KI2T's rebirth, I wanted him to remain familiar, while also updating his look a bit to stay current, and even added two Knight Industries badges so they knew who KI2T belonged to.

One of the new AIs is KATT, she is KI3T's female AI counterpart, and like him; is an black 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500KR Mustang, but has an blue led scanner in front. KATT stands for Knight Automated Three Thousand.

Okay, so I'm a little confused by something.....they hooked up after Sarah's dad died, and I perceived that they were an "item."

So are they not dating? Was that comfort sex for Sarah to help with the grieving process?

So I guess this can be the official un-official discussion thread for all things Sarah Graiman and Michael Knight, Jr.

From the way I understand it, they at one time were an item and then he left her I think because he left for the military. When they began working together, they'd flirt but not really be an item. What you saw in that ep after Charles died was him being there for his former girlfriend. He knew she needed him just then so he was there for her.

They grew up together, were childhood best friends, dated in high school, broke up when Mike joined the military ... then years later see each other again in the KR TV movie / pilot. Since then, they've been flirty best friends. They did indeed hook up again in Hawaii when Sarah was drunk and grieving her dad's death. But they're not "back together again" ...

Dude, I wish the 'shippers had been around in the start of the season instead of at the end of the season. There could have been some interesting discussions ... like that time Mike and Zoe had sex!

Mike was in the military, he asked sarah to marry him, then got most of his memory erased after the Karr project went bad.. he didn't remember asking her - it's in one of the episodes..
The fact that they still have feelings for each other kinda makes sense. On the other hand though.. why mike even thinks about looking at other women amuses me - sarah's a hottie !

Oh crap, which episode? I still haven't seen the first episode, the Halloween episode or the Vegas episode. Sorry, I thought they said in the TV movie / piolot that they broke up when Mike went away to join the army, but I may just mis-remember it that way. My bad.

They did a pretty good job of erasing it too. The first time we see Mike in the TV movie / pilot he's in bed with two girls. Playboy channel style.

Then there was that time Mike and Zoe were "undercover" ... and Sarah walked in ... ouch.

Hey! Remember that time Mike was naked with the female British agent [in the militia episode] and he ended up NOT having sex with her because he told her that he had feelings for another woman ... ?

What if instead of Sarah ... he was talking about Zoe?

I'm pretty sure Mike and Zoe didn't have sex....they were just in bed together. Right?

Also, remember when Mike got infected with that truth serum/virus and right before he passed out he told Sarah he loved her? Sarah told him at the end of the ep she would tell him one day what he said. That hasn't happened yet.

Hah. I'm pretty sure they had drunken sex. But that's just me.

Here's what Sarah herself said in an interview with KnightRiderOnline.Com:

KRO: Where do you see your character next season?

RUSSO: "I would like to see more conflict between Sarah and Mike. Now that she's essentially his boss, and still is ex-lover, I would imagine that would make for a strained work environment. KITT would be almost a child of divorce, listening to both sides bicker about each other. I would love to see Sarah exercise a little jealousy when Mike finally moves on and possibly meets someone new. Maybe Sarah meets someone but he turns out to be a government operative. Everyone's character development could explore a little more depth in the second season. I want to see where Billy lives, for example. I'm guessing it's with his mom."

Yeah, we all know he's too much into Billy.

I'm pretty sure it's the episode that Agent Rivai shoots Mike. He asks Sarah why they broke up, she tells him that he proposed to her, she said yes and then she never heard from him again.



Mike said nothing happened, and in one of the GST Q&A he confirms that nothing happened. Since he's the one that decides, only he knows what happens off camera, if he says they didn't have sex they didn't.

But you can't discount the fact that when Zoe woke up her first words were: "Last night was epic."

I'm SURE she wasn't referring to the drinking binge she and Mike went on. So if nothing happened from Mike's point of view, he may well have passed out before Zoe decided that she didn't care if Mike was unconscious or not...

BTW I really liked the spot in the season finale when Mike asked Sarah "This is about what happened in Hawaii, isn't it?"

Mike's relationship with Sarah was one of the biggest problems on the show. It was distracting and it wrote the character into a corner. They should have left it as high school sweethearts but they kept her as the love of his life and limited his romantic interests. Big mistake since their relationship got just as much significance as his relationship with KITT.

how does it go btw Michaels & Sarahs love relationship? r they together? If I was him, I will do anything to get her as my lover, she's hot, she's talented, she have perfect body and she is rich. What else does can I desire for? he is nuts. Looking forward too eppi 18 coming soon.

I was thinking the same thing... but ep. 18 is not coming becouse the season has ended, But if it comes back it will be the first ep in season two...
