Living in California, my friend and I took a trip to Van Nuys to find the Scranton Business Park location. I didn't know that it was Chandler Valley Center Studios. Instead, I looked up one of the businesses in the background of the Fun Run episode and located it that way. It was a fun surprise for my friend since she didn't know where we were going. When we arrived, I told her to look at the sign on the building and she paused for a few seconds trying to figure out where she had seen the sign before and then gasped. Here some photos:

The front of Chandler Valley Center Studios, aka: Scranton Business Park

They had rolled back the usual fence seen in the show and had an iron gate in place.

Shot through the bars. The door was open, so people were inside.
Note that 1725 is not the actual address of the location. This is the address used in the show.

They keep the vehicles right there in the parking lot along side of other employee vehicles.
It was strange seeing Michael's PT Cruiser next to a truck with California plates. Unfortunately,
Dwight's Firebird was missing this day. But it can be seen clearly by using Google streets (parked back end first of course.)

I don't remember which character drives the beige Saturn. Is this Kevin's?

---------------------------------------

The sign says: "Vance Refrigeration R. Vance President"

---------------------------------------

These signs, peeking out over the hedge are barely noticeable from the street.

We looked across the street to see the train tracks where Michael ran to in the Money episode. He could not actually have gotten over there (easily) as there is actually a barbed wire fence separating the trains from the businesses on that side of the street.

We also saw some large items in an adjacent lot draped with black tarps marked "Shrute Farm Porch" and something else marked "Shrute" something... we couldn't make out what it said.

There were two semi trucks parked on the side of the warehouse. And a bunch of juniper trees in pots sitting in a corner of the parking lot for some reason.

Seeing the pole that Dwight had hit with his Firebird (there was no actual damage to the pole) and walking down the sidewalk where they had run in the Fun Run episode made for a nice trip.

I was just re-watching the Fun Run episode and noticed that there are indeed juniper bushes and trees in the corner of the parking lot to the left of the gate. I have never noticed these before. The pots themselves are well hidden and they appear a part of the landscape. They must be hiding something in the corner. Next time I take a trip down there, I'll look closer at what is behind them.

That's so awesome! I actually didn't know that people could just visit the set. So cool!
