Hello again all,
I'm not sure if this was talked about before, if so I'm sorry, but i have not seen it said anywhere yet.
Something always felt odd about Peters power, and how they nerfed him so quickly, just never felt right.
What if Peter has his father's ability and does not know it yet.
Say this happened.
Peter met his father, absorbed all of his abilities, then Arthur took all of his abilities leaving an imprint of his own, or negating his own ability(being immune to stealing).
Peter takes injection and has his fathers ability manifest, not his original.
This to me is all about the animation, if you notice Peters animation when borrowing an ability is IDENTICAL to his fathers animation when stealing, just on a smaller scale.
So once Peter understands what power he has and it evolves, he will be just as powerful, if not more so, without being OP and gaining powers in an AoE fashion, allowing the writers to spread Peter out more without having to explain how every person he meets is a new ability.
This kind of makes Peter powerful, while not being a pain to the writers and still very interesting.
That would make a near perfect fix for Peter.
