Hi everyone! I'm Ashley and I am as of last night officially a Kingsaholic (sp??)

Im Stephanie and I too am a Kingsaholic. This is the type of show I expect to be on HBO or Showtime not network tv. I dont normally watch network tv because they never back their shows or give them enough time to build a following before they yank them off and put another cheap fast food style disposable show in its place. Hope they stick with Kings and let it become the phenominal hit it can be. It seems to already be an underground hit judging from the buzz ive seen about it on other sites.

Since "Life On Mars" was axed by ABC, I want this to be my favorite show. I think the television world has room for both. Besides, Gene Hunt of LOM and King Silas have the same disposition, they like to hit people LOL..

I'm Brett, absolutly LOVE Kings, although I am little worried about the small viewer base... a show this good should be getting so much more attention that it so far has. Here is hoping that Kings becomes a long and prosperous series!

Hello, my name is Huma. Kings is a very refreshing series according to me. Tv is full of hospitals, police, detectives shows, so this series is a lot different. Although I am a big fan of ER and sad it is getting over, but I like this show till now but not a kingsaholic yet. Hope this show stays on.

Count me in. I spent the weekend home with a bad cold and got caught up through on demand and online viewing. Was planning to watch the whole series of Life on Mars, but I heard about the series ending and decided it wasn't worth my time.

Kings is definitely intriguing!

I love this show and would be REALLY ticked off if it got canceled just because NBC doesn't know how to market something when they strike gold. I heard they were going to put it in place after ER instead of Southland. Why didn't they? Better yet, I know that many of my friends who like this show like Heroes as well. The shows kind of go after the same audience. Why don't they put it in a slot after Heroes? The audiences will make the transition smoothly and I think this show would have a chance. And what's wrong with actually ADVERTISING it? Here we go again with NBC stumbling upon a great show and wasting it.

Hi, my name is Shannon. I was a big fan of King Silas when he was in the show Deadwood. He was the best actor in that show. I watched Kings first because of him, and he is now great as King Silas. I love how the show is going so far, and I look forward to seeing how they continue portraying David and Saul. The latest show "Insurrection" started getting into the complexity of Silas, and I loved it!

Why isn't this show taking off? It is really first rate.

I also love the dialogue style. Does it seem Shakespearian to anyone else?

WHAT a fantastic show! I can't stop saying it: thank goodness NBC had the balls to finally make a show treating a religious topic with sensitivity and originality, two storytelling aspects that rarely accompany one another when the source material is the Bible.

I am from NY and I actually worked where episode 4 (The Fishing Scene) was shot. I actually posted a picture in one of the threads 'Filming Locations?' in reference to the fishing scene. The producers picked some amazing places to film and I look forward to what is to come in Kings.

First of all I want to say how mad I am about Kings being moved to Saturday. Kings is one of the best shows on television. It leads off my Sunday night television. I switch over to Showtime after it ends to watch The Tudors.

If NBC would give Kings some buzz and make it a key program in a prime time slot where it wouldn't have to compete with another network's "big" show, I think it could get rolling. Come on NBC, don't let a show that could turn in to a program as big as Heroes just die!!!!!

I'm Allyn, and this show is amamazazing. I really hope it's not canceled. I love it. And I totally agree that they should put it after heroes to save the show. Kings rocks!

I'm veritas_mundi (at least on in here) and I have been a fan from day one of the show. I am totally fascinated by the whole world of 'Kings'. It's become the only show lately I watch faithfully.

I absolutely LOVE this show. Out of all the crap that came out this season for new shows Kings is a breath of fresh air. I am sick of cop dramas and reality shows. Kings is soooo good I would have mistaken it for a Showtime or HBO show. The story line is amazing and the actors are HOT! PLEASE NBC be smart and move this show to the time slot it deserves not Saturday night.[size="3"][/size]

So Completely true. I have seen Parks and Recreation advertised all over and nothing about Kings. And in my opinion Heros was done after the second season it just got to crazy.

Ok! It's official! I too am a Kingsaholic! I just caught up on all episodes today on my day off. Now I can't wait for the next episode. We have been missing a good drama like this. I saw the previews and set my DVR. I am sooo glad I did. I hope the network does a better job at promoting this hit. People I talk to about it have no idea that it exists. Come on NBC hype it up!!!!

So much of a Kings fan- I have preordered the DVD sight unseen, not owning a DVD player- yet. Love the acting, setting and creativity. Its sad that NBC after fox the most inventive amount the networks just does not see the ratings like CBS does with its hohum stuff.

My sentiments, precisely! But I think it is premature to say that the show is actually canceled. Yes, they are sticking it in a "bad" time slot so it does not look good. Methinks this may have something to do with network politics? I mean, the lack of advertising in the SuperBowl and the bad time slot (instead of the original Thursday) makes one wonder how serious NBC really was about giving this quality show a chance out of the gate.....
I am a KINGSaholic...it is superb viewing, engaging and, yes, one can get absolutely hooked once one actually watches it.

The show is great....almost and I mean almostas good as Deadwood.
Ian McShane is too good for this kind of screwing twice in less than 2 years.
I'm still waiting for the Deadwood Movie to tie up loose ends....good luck on that one

Like a few here, we too were fans of BSG, (I'm a fan of The Tudors as well, hubby's not) and we in search of something to fill the gap. A fellow BSG fan and family friend of ours recommended Kings and we thoroughly enjoy the show! Can't wait for the next episode!

Two more Kings fans here. Like a lot of you, my wife and I are former BSG watchers. We got pulled into Kings after seeing Ian McShane on The Daily Show the week before Prosperity aired (see NBC, promotion really does work...you should try more of it!). We think Kings is a really terrific show and we're sad (though not surprised) that it might not survive.

I damn near had an anxiety attack last night when it wasn't on!! The proceeded to actually get upset and extremely disappointed that it wasn't. Can't believe I have to wait another whole week for my fix. Kings is the best drama on TV!!

I think it's a great idea!

The two shows are visually similar in that they are/were both shot using documentary-style camera work; they both have/had some highly metaphorical aspects (I saw strong parallels in Prosperity between David's "signs" and Starbuck's visions); I think Bill Adama and Silas Benjamin are similar characters and Edward James Olmos and Ian McShane play them in similar ways.

Gary here, I am hooked. did not know the show exsisted until I saw the pilot on Scifi. I have watched all the episodes on the nbc site and I am hooked. Will be a regular watcher from now on. Battle star finale did suck..
