I'm ready for tonight. We will be watching and hanging in our Dunder Mifflin Chat Room to watch this and the new OFFICE episode.

Can we have a laugh, please? Just one???

That was pretty funny when they busted them pretending to be in a band, but I still see too much resemblance to The Office. Don't get me wrong, I love The Office, but this is very similar.

Oh, and this episode description seems a bit off. I guess the reporter shows up in the next ten minutes.

Andy reminds me of Roy.

I'm willing to look past the similarities to The Office for now, afterall this was the sort-of-spinoff-but-not-really. I'm waiting for it to come into it's own and hoping it will. I think the writing is funny and Tom Haverford rocked this episode.

I liked it quite a bit. There were several funny moments, and the show is better than most of what's out there right now.

The thing is...it's just, you know, a funny show. I'm not invested in the characters yet, and they haven't really been able to write jokes about the quirks and flaws that have yet to be developed. I wasn't particularly moved to write about how great the show is. But if the people who enjoy it for what it is won't say anything, the only people who will bother will be the Negative Nancys.

From Earl to 30 Rock, I think NBC might have their Thursday nights back. I hope we get one full season with this lineup to find out.

Any other Office fans recognize one of the founders of Dunder-Mifflin? (The guy Pam had to phone a taxi for) -- he was one of the old guys in the street.

Really great episode! Great characters, funny stuff!

Yeah, also the guy that Jim, Kevin, and Andy played golf with.

I liked this episode better than the first...hopefully it'll come along better.

This episode was just solid all around. I enjoyed it all. When The Phantom Tollbooth came out, I lost it. I loved that book when I was a kid.

my own worst enemy was hilarious!!!
the girl playing the drums is pretty funny in the show too!

i think the public meeting scene was too boring and drawn out.

actually love all the episodes....every one has several scenes that are inspired...
such as opening w/ amy coming across kids throwing dog poop..and ending up picking up ashcan cover as shield while she throws it...any scene w/ april the intern..her drinking video was subtle in many ways and dead on...the delivery of many little lines here and there are perfect and drool...
NBC is pretty avant garde for network...the insider jokes in 30 Rock for instance...thank u...please renew parks and r. i will buy all the dvds made...
