I was wondering what you guys were thinking of the way the Bennet marriage is going.

Please vote and leave a reason.

I still am torn about this one.

I think they'll get back together when all this stuff gets resolved.

She should leave Noah, so they can stop having daytime soap opera drama during a show about superpowered people.

I love Sandra and would hate to see her written out in event of divorce, and I love HRG...but realistically as a woman, I can totally see her wanting to leave. She's put up with alot. I'd like to see them stay together, but why should she after all he's done? From her standpoint divorce seems like a reasonable option.

No, I think that they should stay together. If anything, I think this incident will bring them closer together. I also think that once they get over it Sylar should watch himself cause I think Sandra is going to go after him for it. If she gets her hands on him, then ability or not, she is going to give Sylar a heck of a hurting because the adrenaline in her body will make her become a big problem for Sylar and I think you know what I mean, but I can't say it in this forum mad.gif

Unfortunately, I had to say yes, she should leave. And it's got nothing to do with what's happening presently, Sylar, etc. But because of the years of deceit, manipulation....the danger she's been put through and probably will continue to be in, especially if she stays with him.

Personally, I see Sylar going after her. Judging from 4/6's storyline, Sy and HRG are the Itchy and Scratchy of the series: they live to try to kill each other. With HRG gone inconito, Sandra is the easy target for Sy's hatred of HRG.
BUT.....
I see it this way: Sandra 'comes home' to a hotel room. Closes the door, sees Noah sitting in a chair by the bed. Sandra gives a start and then tells him one of them is leaving right now and it better be him.
Noah says that he's so sorry for everything, but he went off looking for Claire, lost his cell phone and his gun, and just needs to say how much he loves her and he's sorry. Sandra looks at him funny, then leans in and gives him a kiss. A long kiss. Noah kisses back more than a little. Sandra breaks off the kiss, and mentions she has groceries in the car. Noah goes to the car, gathers a bundle of 'reusable' bags......AND GETS SHIVVED IN THE BASE OF THE NECK.

Sandra talks to the 'dead' Noah. Turns him over and spits in his face.

"YOU MONSTER!! "
long pause.

"YOU DIDN'T THINK I'D KNOW MY OWN HUSBAND, DID YOU!"
long pause. Sandra looks at the icepick in the back of Noah's head. Still looks mad.
Takes out her cell phone.

"Hi baby. Call me when you get this and tell me where your father is, okay? I need some help here..."
Sandra breaks down crying.

"Dead Noah" still looks really, really dead.

Sandra checks his pockets. Four pockets, nothing in any of them. After searching the coat and jacket pockets, she finds a handwritten note in one pocket. The address she's at.

She reaches into her purse, takes out a note: "Sandra -- Sorry Again. I had to go to work early. Noah.
Happy Anniversary."

Compares the two side by side. Clearly not a match.

I voted Yes, because the trust is gone, but I would have rather voted
YEEEEEEEEESSSSS!

I think she needs to leave, at least for a while. If she goes back to him after how much she's said she's fed up, well.... then... NM I won't make that comment about my own family tongue.gif

But yeah, she needs to go at least for a while, lead a different life. I don't think it means she leaves the show, I think we just see what life looks like for the two of them without each other for a while longer...

I finally made up my mind and voted Yes. Sandra deserves better than this.
Alexie
I voted NO .. they are a perfect match.. I think she should realize how strong his wife is and they should become parnters in the aid of heroes and taking down bad guys! it would make his family stronger!

Although if this were real life i may answer differently but its a drama so they should stick together.

Sandra was kind of just an idiot in season 1. I'm glad they've made her character deeper with actual emotions. Maybe this is because she's not having the Hatian rip her mind up every week lol.

I can't see how she is willing to stay with this guy but then again I'm not a woman maybe they think different lol. I don't think they'll really divorce though unless the actress wants to leave the show. And besides without her there's no Mr. Muggles! ohmy.gif
FlyingMan
I think it's going the way of "Five Years Gone", where Sandra left Noah anyway. Even now in the fixed timeline, it looks the same. Maybe this marriage was doomed from the start?

If they split all of their possessions down the middle; Noah would take Claire, Sandra would take Mr. Muggles, and Lyle would go to a homeless shelter.

well written, Sylarbites, but if it was Sylar...wouldn't he have taken control of the situation before the kiss...I really liked your version-it just seems more plausible that this monster, power-hungry animal that Sylar is would get up and grab Sandra by the arm feigning "let's get you away and safe from here" before that lovely kiss of yours, and then, he would either kill her/tormenting hubby or use her(imprisoning her and send feeds to Claire/Hrg)as bait...lemme know what you think...

Not ultimately, no way. They have one of the most interesting and unique 'romances' on TV...although I might be alone in saying so. I remember thinking Sandra's character was going to be as uninvolved as Lyle's in the beginning, but she's become a Normal People Hero, I think. If it wasn't for the total remoteness of Lyle (and thus, his need for one stable parent in the house), I would say, bring Sandra in as Noah's partner (I don't mean sidekick, I mean partner, where they work two locations. I just *know* she'd hiding her Lara Croft powers and is waiting to bust them out when the rubber hits the road. :)

I think it would be interesting, though, for them to separate again for a time (up the enduring-love romance factor!), but not using that as an excuse to drop her character out of the story. She's like the one sane non-power family member in the group. Would be awesome if she separates, sends Lyle to camp in Scotland, and then becomes Rebel II. SWEET!

I think you may be right on that one but I still voted for them to stay together for sentimental reasons.

I think they should work it out somehow.. I mean they're the only couple we have going through issues in the series (I guess Janice and Matt will be coming up soon)... I don't think she should just let things slide, but I hope they explore their relationship.
