It is so obvious that the producers are low-balling the contestants with the bank-offers. As soon as a deal is made the theoretical offers sky-rocket. In this way, the producers push the contestant into opening more boxes, usually resulting in a bad case.
I used to watch this show everyday until I started to notice this trend. A recent show made it blatantly obvious when a contestant with 3 cases left ($500, $50k, and $500k) was offered only $87 500. This is cheap and unfair. Its not a game when the rules are thrown out the window. I am aware of the disclaimer at the end of the show which states that the producers have the final say. So the contestants always get shafted with the offers, then, when they do make a deal, they play head-games and make them open all the cases anyway(with fake, huge offers of course). Whats the point of watching this farce?
