All,

As an avid Days watcher since the mid-90's, I have seen many story-lines come and go. I am concerned about one particular story-line that had a major impact on the show during the early 2000s but has sinced gone unmentioned.

WHY HASN'T PHILIP'S AMPUTATED LEG BEEN MENTIONED? I feel as if Philip's past in the Marines, his amputation, and the troubles he had with lovemaking and Belle are relevant for his newest relationship with Stephanie...especially since rumor mills and spoilers say that they are going to make love very soon. They recently made out on a chair and nothing was said about it. I remember how apprehensive he was when he was married to Belle and now it seems as if this tid-bit is no longer important.

Does anyone else think this is odd or am I just a stickler for specifics?

I think they are just ignoring or re-writing history like they usually do. There have been several mentions of Philip's stint in the marines lately, but no mention of his artificial leg. The last time it was mentioned was the plane crash last year. Philip no longer walks with a limp either like he was then, so I think that part of history has been re-written and we the viewers are just supposed to accept it and move on.

I have been wondering that too. The other night I was on Youtube and watching all these clips of when it did happen and all. I actually posted a mention of this over in a reply over in Salem Place I believe it was a couple of weeks ago. I guess if they really are re-writing history I will just have to accept it.

By the way mosaic, where did you get the new Shelley and Jay pics. I've looked everywhere for them and can't find them! I've got banner making to do. biggrin.gif
