HA! I can't do push ups because of a wrist injury. I can't even do them on a wall because of it. It's definitely very limiting.

OK, y'all. I might need some back up on Bob's fan page. There was a post from a woman about what can be done naturally to alleviate symptoms of "that time of the month". I told her to try watermelon to help with bloating since it is a natural diuretic, plus has Lycopene and other nutrients, plus lots of water so you stay hydrated. Well, our "favorite" girl, Tina sticks her nebby nose in and says watermelon is full of sugar water and that this woman should just drink milk. I told Tina that natural sugar content is completely different from processed sugar. Then, I told her to check her facts.
So, if y'all could go there and back me up and put this bossy !@#$% in her place, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here's today's challenge:
QUOTE
Today is a YOGA Challenge. Hold each of the following 3 poses for 30 seconds and remember to BREATH and RELAX. Downward Dog, Warrior 2 and Triangle Pose. Google poses for directions. Do these poses 3X's each. Yoga is great for flexibility, blood circulation and keeps you young and vibrant..xoxox
I can do two of those poses, but the downward dog is a problem since I was just diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both of my hands. Don't know how to do downward dog without pain.

True! But they do AMAZING things for your arms. Incidentally, everything at Crossfit can be scaled for your abilities. For instance, I do something called "jumping" pull-ups so that about 70% of the effort comes from the upper body and 30% of the effort is done with the legs. It's still a killer, but I'm not doing full pull-ups yet.

I know they are. I don't think it's because he's forgotten. I do know he was traveling this weekend. He was in Atlantic City on Saturday for an all day event. From Facebook, I know he left there at 11:30pm and drove to NYC. Then from one of my friends who was there, he told them he had business to take care of in NYC on Sunday and Monday.
I kinda wondered if he was gonna get busier as it got further and further into taping the season.

I came up with a yummy way to avoid white foods this weekend. Here's what I posted over on Bob's page:
dice up your choice of fresh vegetables (I used cucumber, shredded carrots, celery, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, tomato, and red, yellow and orange sweet peppers) and toss with 4 Tbsp of a low calorie dressing (I used a light raspberry vinaigrette). Set aside. Mix your choice of lettuce greens (I used iceberg and romaine. Was out of baby spinach). Put lettuce and veggie mixture into a pita pocket (I used one with flax seed, oat bran, and whole wheat flour=60 calories for one whole pita). If you desire, put your choice of meat in. It was really good! I'm gonna see how it tastes with fish flaked in it next time.
