I agree. It would be good if Episodes 1 and 2 could be put back up. My son really likes Southland, but
wishes that he could see the first couple to fill in the pieces.
I'll add my vote. Not only did I really enjoy the pilot (and it's a shame that they sort of drifted from what worked there, although I know they had to find their footing as a show beyond the pilot offering), but I had let many who had missed it, and had only caught parts of
Mozambique,
Sally in the Alley, or
Two Gangs and were turned off- especially by
Sally in the Alley and
Two Gangs, that they really needed to give the show a chance. The pilot is the best way to be introduced to the show and characters- and all it/they have to offer in terms of potential. When I sent them to nbc.com, I had no idea the pilot was gone. When I went to look, I also saw that there are expiration dates when other episodes won't be available for viewing.
Admittedly, I have no desire to watch "Sally" or much of "Two Gangs" again, but I enjoyed most of the others and would definitely view again, especially over the summer. I'm not sure why access is expiring, but I would hope that the network would want to encourage viewers who missed out, starting at the very beginning, and gain more of a loyal audience after the very short season.
