I must disagree. Sami does love EJ but, right now, realizing that EJ was involved in Philip’s shooting, she doesn’t want to love him, yet she simply cannot help herself. As to a victim not being with her rapist, how about Sami and Austin, or Bill and Laura? This is soap after all. I suppose in your words “have sex with me or Lucas dies”, the bottom line should have been to let Lucas die. In that regard we would not have to deal with this constant harping on the event that occurred on 12/19. The writers and actors have moved past this, as should we.

As for AS clearing up something in an article..

I really don't believe they have a lot of room to comment on the storylines, today her character is being written as torn between her feelings for EJ and his dark side. Tomorrow she will be begging Rafe to stay.. Fickle needy woman again!

She is a user and abuser and also a rapist...Why would we want a nice guy like Rafe with a rapist?

What's the difference? First of all Sami ISN'T with Austin! Second, neither is Bill and Laura!!

The bottom line is: The writers should have NEVER written that weeks worth of eppy's to begin with.. All it did was divide a once very fun board!! It did NOTHING but aggrevate many people, enough to stop watching. Alot of us feel that IF the writers where to put sami with ej, it would be the death of the show, and honestly, I think that it would be. But, than again the writers are constantly throwing the puke couple (wanna be) together to appease some people, while others are just holding in that nauseating feeling that always seems to occur, when sami is on t.v. with her violator.. The only way to stop the MADNESS is to stop trying to appease people.. IT ISN'T WORKING!!

Sami has always known what ej is, she just refused to acknowledge it until now..

wow. so much fighting. seems we have one who apologizes for liking who and what she likes, but won't change, another who is going to lose her lunch over two characters being paired in a soap opera, and yet another who thinks the show will tank if two certain characters are paired together. ok. how about that.

well, first, no two characters carry a whole show. they have fired (and lost) far more superior couples in the past and they've paired some real losers and the show is still on.

AND, there are enough fans of both, and all couples, that the show would still be watched. no one fan base is that huge so as to shut down a show.

as for opinions, have whatever you want, but don't be so snarky about it and maybe others wouldn't get so P.O.d. maybe they would, but why fan their flames?

I don't even care anymore what you choose to call the magical night in question; Lucas is a jerk and Sami is no better than EJ. fortunately, Sami and EJ somehow manage to get it right together. and it looks good on them. Sami does Love EJ. and it will be a great story...if written well.

just as she loved Lucas in spite of how badly he treated her and all the crud he has done, she can and does feel the same way about EJ. Sami is no saint by any means, who is she to cast stones at any one or how can Lucas throw stones either. No one is without fault.

Ya know, I kind of wish that Sami had said no and would have let Lucas die. In that manner there would not be this continual issue nor would we have to look at Lucas any longer. Sounds like a win win situation to me.

I agree with you. Rape is a most heinous crime. However, did Sami pay for her crime? Afterall, she is rapist as well and had a relationship with her victim. Talk about double standards and the mixed messages that this show is sending. I have never like Sami until EJ came into the picture. EJ and Sami have the best chemisty on this show. It is ashame that the writers had to ruined a good thing in regards to EJ and Sami. Nevertheless, Days is a silly soap. I truly hope that EJ and Sami will eventually reunite.

We ALL have our personal experiences to draw on . I am sorry if something bad has happened to anyone.
With that said This is a Television Daytime Drama. There will be thing on there that are close to real life. You choose to watch any show on how it makes you feel. If a show continually makes you feel ,bad.sad,angry or worse then maybe it isn't the show for you. I say this with respect.

TPTB are NOT writing this show for ONE person or One fan base so no matter how hard any of us bang our heads against the wall they will write what they want to.

The best way to get someone to back off is to walk away. I have the right to my opinion as do all posters. If you don't agree don't read them. Don't respond to them. That is how you will get someone to back off... don't engage them. If you tell someone what to do odds are they won't listen..

it would indeed have been a blessing to have let him die then maybe no arguments and his salary could have kept Thaao on the show instead.

As for a heinous crime, rape, yes it is but I think murder, child molestation, kidnapping and many others fit in that category as well. As far as experiencing things, no one should assume that they are the only ones who have had bad things happen to them. Some of us have learned to put on those big girl panties and deal with it and move on to better things. Life is tough and I am sorry for anyone who has suffered indignities but don't judge others by what you do not know about them. Soaps are just stories, if something offends you about them, the easiest and most simple solution is just don't watch. Nobody gets a free pass in life, that's just the way it is. If what other people posts rile you up, put them on ignore. I know I would but then I just don't take this stuff personally. Its still just FICTION. By the way Sami does love EJ -Amen

First, EJami will always be discussed and you can feel free to not read the threads dealing with them. That's your choice. Just as it's mine to not go into or pay attention to any thread I'm not interested in.

Second, EJ did NOT say have sex with me or Lucas dies. Sami said she'd do anything if he helped Lucas. He said have sex with me and she agreed.

I know about rape. anyone who has ever been raped would bend over backwards and bite their own leg off to be given a choice. would Lucas have died? there is no guarantee of that. there could've been another car along, who knows? and, obviously, the cops were there close. cars were expected or a road block wouldn't have been put up. what's the first thing you do in a road block? check ALL CARS??? as in more than one? if you think only one car will be coming through and it will be the offender, then, just hide and ambush him. this isn't rocket science here. she had a choice. besides, Sami isn't a doctor. how did she know for a fact that Lucas would die?

Also telling was Sami's impression how he could put on a tux all calm and neal before God in a church knowing he ordered someone murdered.

EJ is one of those characters that you either love or hate for who they are. Although I don't always agree with what he does or how he does it, I love the character. And I'm sure none of his fans would refer to him as a "swell guy".
