Jagweed! Hysterical. The boyfriend Andy is quickly becoming my favorite character. Also the song he wrote for Ann that was playing while he was bathing himself in the baby pool was also hysterical.

This episode wasn't that good. The show definitely has potential, but I wasn't too thrilled with this one.

A very funny episode! I don't think the show is living up to its potential yet, but it's come a long way since the pilot. I like the way the characters are being fleshed out. Leslie's clueless and a bit of a monomaniac, but she's sweet and her heart's in the right place. Ron sticking up for her during her hearing was an especially nice touch. I'm actually at the point now where I look forward to each new episode.

Wasn't as good as the last one but still funny!

Her Shrine of Powerful females was hilarious.

Amy Poehler's subtle yet over the top reactions are why I loved her on SNL but I really think she's better here.

Though Ron's character is basically the antithesis of Leslie, there something about his character that was cool and it was justified in this episode.

And I just realized something with hindsite...... blush.gif

Come on people! This was the funniest episode of the season! I was laughing from start to finish. And do you know why? They didn't focus on the stupid "Pit"!

Not to even mention the featuring of Bloomington Indiana's favorite home town beer, Upland Dragonfly IPA!

Here's the story from the local Newspaper, the Bloomington Herald-Times:

Upland beer makes it on national TV

Area fans of the NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation” saw a familiar sight Thursday night. The show featured bottles of Upland Brewing’s Dragonfly IPA as prominent props during the episode titled “Boys’ Club.”

“As soon as it went off, everyone starts calling me and e-mailing me,” Scott Johnson, Upland marketing operations manager, said today.

In the episode, Leslie (played by Amy Poehler) tries to break up the all-boys’ gatherings of city employees in the courtyard of the city building. The women join the guys for a little beer and chitchat about the day. During the festivities, an underage intern ends up getting tipsy and a video of it is posted online.

“Parks and Recreation” producers called Upland to ask for some empty bottles and labels, said Johnson. They wanted to get some local beer as the show is set in a fictitious Indiana town, he said.

“As we start to get bigger and grow ... the exposure definitely helps,” Johnson said. Upland began having its products distributed in Louisville, Milwaukee and Madison, Wis. in October.

Too bad they couldn't have given a shout out to the brewery! Or included wine in the gift basket from one of the great Indiana wineries, like Oliver Winery or Butler Winery (both also from Bloomington).

Oh, and I loved the two support staff! Great interactions with Leslie and Tom. Where have they been the last 3 episodes? Keep them around. Do they have names?
