Only thing that confuses me is whether or not Peter got all of Sylar's powers or just the one? Also what's going to happen when "Nathan" figures out he can't fly?
Charliekat
Yeah, I loved Peter.

I just thought it was extremely cheap that they didn't show the fight in the room.

He's not really dead, he's just sharing a space with Nathan for the time being tongue.gif
But um I was talking about Peter here not the complaint thread but I do respect your opinion on this.

Peter got Sylar's Powers during the fight, Sylar took Flight ... in mid flight after Nathan slams him out of the room, I would guess. Peter has all of Sylar's abilities, and will be able to Fly if needed. He can clearly heal and shapeshift, so lets just stop this argument now. Peter is Peter again... for the most part.

But Nathan is Sylar. Or Sylar is Nathan. Or something. I don't know yet.

If Nathan finds out how to access Sylar's abilities, it would put the two brothers on very even ground.

Or is this how Pete and Sylar truly become brothers? Heh.

I can't wait to see Nathan use powers other than flying to kick ass!!!! Although those powers and the body weren't acutually his.

How I want this Sylar/Nathan hybrid plot to play out is that after some struggle and probably Sylar will take control first. But eventually the new personality which is Nathan is strong enough to actually take Sylar's body over and truely becomes Nathan. That will be the ultimate vengeance on a killer like Sylar. I want that to happen so bad because I just love Nathan!!!

Pete only took the shape shifting power, i know it sucks but their keeping Pete at one power at a time for now.
If u watch the bonfire scene again Pete still has cuts on his face which means he didn't get the healing, which mean he probably didn't get the other ones either.

No, I don't agree. Peter said to Sylar "I bet you didn't expect me to take that one." That clearly indicated to me he chose to take the shape shifting power over the others. I believe we were led to believe he could take them all when Nathan said "anything Sylar can do, my brother can do. All he has to do is get close enough to touch him." I don't think he was badly injured during the brief fight. We never saw him 'healing'. I strongly believe he's still the one power Peter, as much as I miss the multi powered one. But he did rule during that scene in the limo. smile.gif

Yes Peter was awesome that episode. Not really my favorite character but glad to see him put to good use.

Since Peter and Mohinder are probably going to be against the reformation of the Company, I could see these two teaming up to become vigilantes next season. I think the next season will mainly focus on Peter and Sylar-Nathan.

Hey I'd love to see both of those ideas come true. I like Peter/Mohinders friendship, so to see them team up agian would be great. Than in the end I see the trio reuniting to stop all of this, Matt will prob start to feel so guilty that hey'll want to stop it all.

I think Peter took all of Sylars powers in the limo when they shook hands..
Heresy
In every other scene where Sylar is being attacked, he uses TK to throw his attackers against walls, where he pins them before taking his next action.

Because they needed Peter to touch Sylar, to make the unbelievably stupid twist work, they had Sylar fight like a retard.

So Sylar got beaten by terrible writing, how fitting a season finale.

p.s. Ando, Hiro, and Matt could have beaten Sylar, and made him become Nathan, and could have made it believable, within the context of the Heroes universe. Instead, they chose the shiny lights and loud noises approach, which apparently was plenty enough to keep the average viewer from questioning the means used to achieve the end.

Yes, he was awesome. The scene in the car with Sylar made up for the fact that he had very little screen time. He was definitely the hero of the night.
