I've never posted here before but after watching recent episodes, I just had to sound off.

I am so tired of Sami being portrayed as a graveling, desperate, weak woman. Sami is strong, passionate, and loveable. With every man that has come into Sami’s life, she has had to prove herself worth being loved, Austin, Brandon, Lucas, and now Rafe, all so judgmental with their “holier than thou" attitudes. EJ is the only man who has ever loved her for better or worse. He knows who she is and what she’s capable of and he respects and admires that in her. She's not perfect and he doesn’t care, he loves her anyway. And the heat and passion between these two compares only to the couples that have stood the test of time, Bo & Hope, John & Marlena.

PLEASE stop Sami from begging for love from men that will never truly accept her. Let her passion unleash with her true soul mate, EJ. They bring out the best in each other.

I would like to add a HERE HERE to this post!!!! Sami should never have to do what she did in that airport. She should never have to chase after a man because she decided to tell the father of her daughter the truth. She should never have to chase after anyone just because he doesn't agree with her. Make Sami stick up for herself. I say this grudgingly.... Even if it means leaving her without a love interest for awhile. She could just focus on her kids. Why can't she help Mia out more? It would be great for them to bond. This story line could also help her bond with Will. Show Sami as the strong female this character can be.

Yeah.. I was pretty annoyed with the 5/4 Rafe & Sami interaction where he keeps threatening to leave. It reminded me of how they used to have Lucas. Always ultimatums and behavioral threats. I guess this is their way of appeasing the Sami+Lucas fans, but seems like the same old stuff she finally got away from.

Wow, fantastic post!! If they want a prayer of Ejami fans to start liking Safe then they need to stop Sami begging for a man. All it does is make me dislike Sami. Come on writers- at least let Sami have a backbone for goodness sake!

ITA!!! sami is my favorite character, but she drives me NUTS the way she acts around rafe. she shouldn't have to beg.

All your post were good. IA Sami shouldn't be begging anyone at this point in her life. Sad when at this time the worst person for her understand her the best. I really am trying to like Rafe , but he is being written awful.

I completely agree with this whole thread. I am trying to like Rafe too, but I hate how they are making Sami. Go back and make her strong, and free spirited. Man or not, she needs to be that person again. I can wait on seeing her with EJ, if it means building up her character. Maybe eventually EJ will have the chance to make things right.

BRAVO! BRAVO! Great post! What made me so sad was that she knew she was doing it too. She admitted it. Begging and groveling, just so not the Sami that she is when she is with EJ, her soul mate.

I agree, that Sami's never groveled to EJ begging him to lover her. With him she's always been a strong in your face type woman, not a whimpering, whining, low self esteem little girl. She's also had mature and intimate conversations with EJ.

I prefer watching the mature strong woman that stands up to EJ.

no one should ever have to beg for love or understanding, wonderful to be accepted for who and what you are, faults as well as good traits. That's real love.

I don't think anyone likes this pathetic Sami. it's Sami, for crying out loud. she is not a groveler. she has her faults, but she has always been tough, hard as nails and nobody's toilet paper. but the way she is being written right now, just call her Angel Soft. (Charmin, quilted Northern, etc.)

Sami grovels to Rafe because he is the wrong guy for her. If he was the right guy she would not have to grovel.

Great post! Yes, please bring back the real "Sami". This clone version of Carrie is a bit overrated. I am sick and tired of watching Sami weeping for approval by goodie two shoe men who only want to mode her into something else. The moment that Sami was paired with Lucas romantically. She has been turned into a emotional crybaby. Her temper tantrums can be compared as a teenager in distress. One of the reasons why EJ and Sami belong together is because Sami is treated like an adult with EJ. Yada, yada, yada, I am so fed up with the constant separation between EJ and Sami to the point that Days is no longer interesting to watch anymore. Go Figure!!!

Groveling and begging??Haven't we been in this story before??Uh,yeah...and I hated it and tuned out then as well...not to mention,,she is trying just a tad "TOO HARD"to be in love with this stranger..not buying what tptb are trying to sell me...thanks,but no thanks!!

I actually like the fact that EJ has a bad side. He does all the wrong things for all the right reasons (at least in his mind), just like Sami. They are a perfect match. And with these two, we could have some really good fights and some really great making up!

Stop the whinning! Let the next daytime supercouple come together at last...we've certainly waited long enough!!

I want grey Sami to appear. I appreciate that she is turning the other cheek but where is the woman that fought for what she wanted. You can fight and not be immature like Sami was once in the past. Fight for EJ, Sami and while you at it get a job. Seriously does anyone in that town besides the cops and doctors really work.
