A good idea on Jackie Chan!

Roan can rock he comes back to give Chuck some more tutor time, ofcourse that ends with him charming Ellie and Sarah a little smile.gif

Ok referring to my story idea on the other thread, how about Alexis bledal as Casey's sister or goddaughter.

In general Eliza Dushku would be good as a guest star.

Alexis Bledal because of age differance would be a better Goddaughter
How about David Rashe(Sledge Hammer) as Casey's brother. They both love guns and violence."Trust me,I know what I'm doing"

David Rashe would be excellent. He play like Sledge and be Casey's older much stupider brother. Shoot he could even be Jayne's stupider brother.

Chuck's mom - Linda Carter (perfect fit, she looks like Sarah Lancaster)
Sarah's sister (she mentioned a sister in vs. the Wookie) - Julia Stiles
Sarah's mom - Kim Basinger (yowza!)

Peter Graves (Mission Impossible 1980's tv series)- as Casey's retired General grandfather
Michael Vartan (Alias) or Bryan Greenberg- CIA agent in training assigned to the team
Sarah Silverman - Chuck's replacement at the Nerd Herd
Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton, Rutger Hauer or Dolph Lundgren - members of The Ring

my fantasy season 3 scenarios:
Morgan and Harry Tang bump to each other in Hawaii
Chuck and Sarah goes on a sort-of vacation to Hawaii, as Chuck is called by Morgan for help
Casey and Ilsa reunited giving way to Charah lovin'
Mama B gets into the picture
more Jeffster performance
baby Awesome in the B-bun
Chuck moving out of the Ellie's place
travelbug1576
David Rashe would be good, maybe as Casey's brother but also as a incompetent police officer!

Alexis Bledal is Casey's goddaughter then good at least thats decided someone let the production team know!

Linda carter would be cool!
not going to discuss the sister situation as it might be cover story it might not be. However Julia stiles would be interesting to see in the show in some way, family member or just a guest star.

I should say we have no real idea if Morgan has infact gone to Hawaii?

I could see a lot of that working - I had similar thoughts for a Hawaii episode. I was thinking there could be bad guys at the Pineapple Factory that Tang runs, and Casey "activates" Tang and Team Bartowski comes in to save the day.
Your idea for Sarah Silverman as replacement nerd herder - Now that would be funny.

Ok guest star The Rock!

Also not sure they would go to Hawaii budget constraints possibly mean we never have any outside shots again if they do go there smile.gif

a bit pricey but what about Ben Stiller as a hard nosed old school angry CIA agent even crazier and more blood thirsty then Casey, kinda to the point he freaks Casey out!

Wouldn't team Bartowski in Hawaii make a great episode. Throw in Harry Tang as a guest star.

I'm afraid I never watched Eli Stone, so I'm not sure who this actress is. However, I do like the premise that you have put forward. I could see this girl stumbling into the back of Orange Orange, and coming close to finding Castle, while team Bartowski is watching video surveillance below. They get suspicious, thinking she might be an enemy agent and Casey is forced to go on a first date with her to check her out.

Meanwhile, Jeffster come up with a plan to get Casey back for stealing their girl, which will of course go badly for them.

Thank you Gord2, Im glad you like my idea. It would be great to see jeff and lester pull some ridiculous prank on casey only to have him chase them down and threaten to kill them. lol.

Whoever thought up jackie chan as a guest star is a genius. He would have a great dynamic with all the main charatcers. He could great fun with chuck, as they are both goofy, but still be a great field agent which would garner casey's respect, even though he'd hate to have respect for someone who is like chuck.

Too bad bill cosby is so old. He would be a hilarious guest star, but probably way toooooooo expensive.

As for chucks mom, the linda carter idea is great, kudos, she does look quite a bit like miss lancaster. Personally though, I hope that we find out chuck's mom was actually killed as a means to get to orion by some enemy agents. Chuck and ellie could find out and then they would be angry at orion for letting them assume their mother left them all those years ago and it would solve the problem of having to pay scott bakula all the time as they could say something like, we didn't need you then and we don't need you know, then he would leave and saying they know where to find him. That would also leave the character open for guest appearances. If they re-introduced chuck's mom, it would kinda take away from the flaws of the bartowski household, flaws that make the character more relatable and more realistic. A happy family reunion would be a bad idea.

Good point - she could not be permanent fixture - perhaps if she popped in for an episode perhaps near the end of the episode bad guys track her down, then her and Papa B agree that it is not safe for them to be around Chuck and Ellie. It does leave room for future guest appearances, but would still let Ellie play mom to Chuck. I just think a moma B could be a great vehicle for character growth - especially if the premise was she was Orion's original handler. I could just see her having a great heart to heart chat with Sarah.
Gord2
Linda Carter might be a good moma B, but I still like the idea of Kate Jackson.

Either one would probably do a good job though.

I second that nomination Gord2. I grew up watching Wonder Woman, and think Linda Carter would be fun, but I'm still leaning towards Kate Jackson.

I liked his cameo in the Get Smart movie.
A while back I stumbled upon a DVD set of a Get Smart series done I think in the 90's - only a handful of episodes. Where Max is the Chief of control and his son is a bumbling agent. It wasn't that great, but there was an episode where Sigfried's daughter seduces Max's son, to trap them. His daughter uses a line something like - when I was growing up I hardly knew my father. I was told he was a doctor on a cruise ship (reference to Love Boat) - the way it was delivered I thought it was hilarious.

I never really watched wonder woman. Where I grew up, out in the country, we had no cable TV and could only get two channels (Canadian TV) and either they did not carry the show or it conflicted with another show that we liked to watch.

I have seen her in a few shows and I'm sure she would do ok, but I have seen 3 series with Kate Jackson - one was a cop show (I think called "The Rookies") where she played a nurse and cop's wife, Charlie's angels, and Scarecrow and Mrs King (with Papa Awesome as Scarecrow, which I see a few people have put up promo picture of). It's that last series that I think would make her such a perfect fit for guest appearance. In some ways that show was almost a reverse Chuck - she was a widowed (or divorced - can't remember exactly) mom that gets caught up in the spy world when Scarecrow being in trouble gives her a package to take care of.

I could just see an episode with both her and the Awesomes in it - perhaps a Thanksgiving or some other family holiday show.

Anyways, we know that the writers/directors will do whatever the see fit with season 3 and if S1 and S2 are any indication, whatever they do will be great.
travelbug1576
Lets get the cast of Burn notice over into Chuck as spys would be funny!
travelbug1576
Also what about Michelle williams as a relation of either Sarah (sister) or as Casey's sister, all beautiful and sweet a total contrast to Casey. That Chuck can flirt with innocently and that could be very funny especially if its Casey's sister.

and

Pushing the boat out Ewan McGregor he is such a great actor and we can have him hitting on Sarah?

You are correct the cop show Kate was in during the 70's was The Rookies. Ironically, Sam Melville played her husband in the Rookies and then her ex-husband in Scarecrow and Mrs. King. (She played a divorced suburban housewife).

Yes, I think of Chuck as sort of Scarecrow and Mrs. King in reverse, I think this is the main reason I am drawn to the show, although I'm also drawn to the acting, superb writing and a great mix of comedy and drama. On the SMK board (yes there is one), there were about 4 or 5 girls and we were doing weekly episode discussions on the similarities of Chuck and SMK and a couple of girls (who have never seen the show) complained to the moderator and basically told us to join a Chuck board if we wanted to talk Chuck. Sheesh. So HERE I am!

Met Bruce Boxleitner last October and we talked about Chuck. He also sees the similaries and said something to the cast about how similar the two shows were and they all looked at him weird. None of them had ever heard of SMK...darn WB for never releasing it on DVD...gggrrrrr...but when the cast found out he was Tron in the movie Tron...the cast and crew brought all their Tron stuff for him to sign. LOL

That would be AWESOME to see a holiday episode! And for all the SMK fans who had waited 25 years to see them together again, it would be a dream come true.

Has it been that long? I am suddenly feeling old. It is funny you should mention Tron, I don't think I have ever seen the complete movie. I've seen bits and pieces of it, but never the whole thing. When I was a kid, I probably only got to a movie about once every 3 or 4 months. We lived out in the country, and until I learned to drive, was pretty much stranded.

Yes, filming already started and will be wrapping up mid-July. They are filming in 3-D. (Am I the only one who hates 3-D?) Any way, scheduled to be released in 2011.

And no worries Gord2...not the only one who feels old, and yes, it's been that long smile.gif
IwuztheOffice
^Ugh, are they seriously making a sequel? When have sequels/remakes ever done the originals justice? (I suppose there are several examples. I love the Producers remake just as much as the original) What made Tron amazing was the unprecedented territory that film makers delved into, producing such stunning (at least at that time) visual effects. I mean, is there any other movie out there like Tron? I'd take the special effects in Tron over blockbuster, uber-CGI anyday tongue.gif. Plus, I hate this new gimmicky wave of 3D, I have to admit, the technology has gotten so much better, but I want to see a movie written FOR the sake of the movie, not the special effects, whatever they may be. However, if they get most of the cast on board, I wouldn't mind seeing it. (Damn, am I a purist? I was born a whole decade after Tron came out!)
Okay, so that's my rant of the day smile.gif

Anywho, how about Jack Mcbrayer? He so great as Kenneth on 30 Rock, plus he's just so nerdy and adorable. For some reason, I want to see him as a bad guy...

I just thought of another guest star - Tia Carrera (Relic Hunter) not sure if I would like to see her as an enemy fighting Sarah or as an ally fighting alongside Sarah. But I think she would be great.

If I'm not mistaken, I think she is Hawaian. Maybe she should guest star in an episode with the team, Morgan, Anna, and another guest Harry Tang in Hawaii. Maybe as a detective. They could call it Chuck Vs the Pineapple.

Last night while channel surfing I caught a bit of "Mystery Men" with Paul Rubens (Peewee Herman) as "The Spleen", he also has in the past done guest roles on Murphy Brown and Pushing Daisies. I could see him as an eccentric genius having something to do with the intersect that Team Bartowski have to protect, he has a way of doing off putting characters in a funny way.
travelbug1576
I still think bring over the guys from Burn Notice there like a grown up Chuck team, They would be funny especially if team Chuck think there the bad guys and vice versa and are trying to get capture each other. I can just imagine Casey and Fiona getting along like the best of friends and Michael and Sarah getting on ( no romance) but just sorta hitting it off.
CaptainJackHarkness
I don't think they will bring in another male spy unless he is intended to be a love interest for Sarah.

But back to the topic at hand...

Not sure they will have much room in the budget for guest stars, even though I would like to see Arnold Vosloo again, as well as Miles from vs the Ring...

If they have enough money, I do hope they will somehow bring Chuck's mom back into the picture...hopefully played by Lynda Carter or maybe even Demi Moore...

Chucks mum would be good but i do see her as a slightly longer arc character, might be better to bring in characters from other peoples past.

plus i don't think you have to have another male spy as a love interest, i think thats a bit played now. Having one come in and actually just get on with her and be friendly would be more fun, i can see Chuck getting a little agitated by the comradery between then.
