Chuck has had great guest stars in its first two seasons. Be they evil or good, these quest stars sure have been well used by the writers to give us insights into character relationships and some exciting, fun plots. So who do folks want on the quest star wish list for next season:

I have several ideas:

1] Diana Rigg, let her be Cole's mother or one of his important leaders. It would be great to have an actress who made the spy Emma Peel a legend pop onto this show.

2] John Barrowman, whose Capt. Jack Harkness' is himself a legend spanning Doctor Who and his own show Torchwood. Just imagine the potential impact this fine actor could have on Casey...

3] Adrian Paul, the Highlander! He Could make a wonderful villian who they discover during the episode is more then what he appears.

4] Johnny Depp... My lord he has so much fun with his characters, spy, assassin or gamer hooked on being a roleplaying spy while working at whatever main company is used as a front next year would be just so great.

Just a few of my thoughts. Who would you like to see?

I'd love to see:
1. Peta Wilson aka Nikita from La Femme Nikita. She is too young to be Sarah's mom, but could be another spy or Sarah's big sis (I have no idea how old the actor is that played her dad to see if that was feasible). She is also Australian and it might be fun.

2. Linda Carter. I think she looks like Ellie and could be the long lost mom.

3. MacGyver. Sorry, can't remember his real name, but that would be cool if he was some spy sent to give Chuck lessons.

I would love to see reappearances of Carina, Roan, and maybe Ilsa. Sarahs dad too. Casey needs some love!

I'll keep thinking about it. It will be a loooonnnng summer!

I'm not a character. I'm real. But I like the idea of John Barrowman guest-starring in this show.

I think there have been too many guest stars. They need to control their costs by reducing the number of guest stars on the show, so it's still profitable for Warner Brothers and NBC.

Though I wouldn't mind seeing Brooke Shields in as Chuck and Ellie's mother, and Orion/Chuck's father's former CIA handler...or Patricia McPherson (from 80's Knight Rider), or Demi Moore...

Actually, if they could afford it (and he shouldn't be that expensive), I would love to see Jet Li on the show. He could help Ms Strzechowski improve her Kung Fu...He could be a Chinese agent they have to cooperate with, who ends up being gay and totally hot for Chuck...that would be funny...

I think he would have to be hot for Casey rolling.gif

Anyone but Jonathan Cake (Cole Barker)! wink.gif

I would love to see these guest stars:

-Carina and/or Ilsa's return.
-John Kleese or Steve Martin; either of these two bumbling around as spies could only help Chuck's confidence in the spy world!
-With all the Star Wars references, someone minor from any of those films (no way they'd be able to get someone major).
-Dan Aykroyd; gotta have the other spy from "Spies Like Us." His wife, Donna Dixen, would be great as Sarah's mom (Bosom Buddies, anyone?).

SAFAN80
Tricia Helfer as Alexandra Forrest again just so Sarah can kick the crap out of her.

Jennifer Garner she would draw a lot of new fans to the show.

Jonathan Cake the Cole angle needs to be wrapped up by Casey wink.gif

Jordana Brewster Jill Duh rolling.gif

Bridget Regan has great talent and could be an enemy spy

Michelle Ryan NBC owes her one

Ugh! smile.gif
SAFAN80
Scott Bakula he needs to be in a few episodes.

Arnold Vosloo the agent that Can't die

Summer Glau if you don't why figure it out

Karl Urban would make a good spy/Assassin (Good/or Bad)

Nick Chinlund would make a good spy/Assassin (Good/or Bad)

Michael Biehn would make a good buddy from Casey's past.

Moon Bloodgood She's probably out of NBC's price now.

Kevin McKidd would make a good spy/Assassin (Good/or Bad)

John M. Jackson could be someone From Casey's past.
snickrz
I want Roan Montgomery back.
kaybee2517
Hey amyabn --- McGyver = Richard Dean Anderson
NSA_CIA
I know its impossible to have them all...
Agent Roan Montgomery was great last season

Carina, enough said

Pappa B, has to have show up here and there

Vincent, guy can't stay dead

Chuck and Sarah's mom?

Sarah's sister?
SAFAN80
Clare Carey could be the new CIA head of the operation since graham is dead.

Wow, some serious spitballing! You've got me curious; who is Summer Glau? Just a quick update: I only consumed 18 TUMS instead of the usual 40 when thinking of J. Cake's potential return. wink.gif

Diana Rigg would be great. She also played the only Girl James Bond ever truly fell in love with.It was the best Bond film Ever called "On Her Majesties Secret Service"

Barbara Feldon as John Casey's Mother. She of course Played Agent 99 on "Get Smart".A poll a number of years ago I think had 99 and Emma Peel as the favorite Female Spies of all time. What if Some Fans Are right and Cole is part of the ring,Would'nt it be great to have those two battle it out.Sarah Walker is now my Favorite Female Spy with Agent 99 a close second.

Robert Culp as Casey's Dad.He played two famous agent's on TV.Kelly Robinson on "I-Spy" and FBI Agent Maxwell on "The Greatest American Hero".The latter Character had some similaritys with Casey.Plus when "Chuck" first started it reminded me of the early 80's action comedy Stephen J Cannell wrote and produced.

I'm with Jennifer Garner, Lynda Carter etc...but if not Lynda Carter how about Jacklyn Smith? I mean girl was a Charlie's angel. That would be awesome.

Jill, Forest, of course. I think they should keep up these virtual unknowns (at least unless your a sci-fier lol). Like Tricia Helfer, had no idea who she was. Or in Carina's case...supermodels.

Summer Glau was in Firefly, Serenity and most recently Terminator TSCC. She's pretty kick arse if I don't say so myself. laugh.gif

Or Kate Jackson. She was an Angel and Mrs. King on Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Chuck reminds me of it often, but the the sexes reversed. And since you already have Bruce Boxleitner.....

I would suggest saving the guest stars until the season finale, for say, when they need to take down the Ring. Since the Ring is a huge mega-organization of bad guys, Chuck will need the help of all of his friends, like Carina, Mei Ling, Lazlo(?), Cole Barker, Roan, etc...

I don't know if I should post this here or the season 3 thread, but I think we need some more of the Toga Party Stanford alums hanging around. Then Fulcrum/the Ring would really have reason to fear the Buy More.

Why do so many people dislike Cole Barker? Other than being a love interest of Sarah's, I would think most fans would like him, especially in vs the Lethal Weapon, where he went out of his way to help Chuck on missions and boost Chuck's confidence.

He would be a great big brother to Chuck, if handled correctly. And like vs the Breakup, if he returns, it would be hard to make him a romantic threat to Chuck+Sarah dynamic now.

The only thing I dread is that the writers may give him the same stupid, sexist lines that he had no choice but to quote in vs the Beefcake, like about buttering Sarah's muffin. Come on, that is just plain immature.
glaucon
Damien Lewis as the big bad would be awesome.
ChuckYou
Danny Glover and Mel Gibson doing an episode together could be pretty funny, but it would probably wreck the budget.
Don_Quixote
I would like Carina back as Sarah's sister ... didn't they bicker and fight like sisters? Carina evens wanted Chuck cause she see Sarah did ... sounds like a sister ...
SAFAN80
Is Amy Acker doing anything?
herder
I think this topic could be divided, first a poll on who was the favorite guest last year; John Laroquette, Matthew Bomer, Jordanna Brewster, Gary Cole, Arnold Vosloo, Scott Bakula or Chevy Chase. A person could also ask who would you most like to see return, include Melinda Clarke, and the woman who played Carina.

Then the other part is which new guest star would you like to see.

My problem is that except for Chevy Chase, I'd like to see them all return, but that's just not possible, if I had to narrow it down I'd say Laroquette (very funny), Cole and Bakula (the dads) and Vosloo (indestructible). I do expect Jordanna Brewster to show up at some time.

As to new appearances, Dan Ackroyd seems logical, Kyle McLaughlin ( he was in Dune), Claire Danes (I just like her, and she was in one of the Terminator movies) Sara Sahai (Crewes' partner in Life), Brian Austin-Green and Summer Glau (although despite TSSC being canceled I think Glau will be too busy).

I keep reading NBC is cutting Chuck and Life. Serious mistake, then I no longer need an NBC channel. Those well written, quality shows are what brought me back to watching the network. ARE YOU LISTENING NBC? Rating ARE important but you build a network on quality, not trash. jim

Chuck has been renewed but wil not be showing till March 2010 sad.gif so they can avoid try to pick up the back 9.
spitegirl
Johnny Depp would be AWESOME, highly unlikely, but most awesome!! Who knows tho, he just did the vo for that spongebob so maybe...

Def have to have Laroquette back! Too funny...

I don't know why, but I like David Duchovny...and how about either Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, heck any of that crew from either show would be great.

Helena Bonham Carter would be interesting...
ChuckNewbie8
Since we're talking highly unlikely haha...Pierce Brosnan. He can teach Chuck a thing or two about looking like a spy.

I was thinking about putting 'any actor that portrayed Bond' but thought that was too far fetched!! Who knows though, Pierce might do it! Stranger things have happened. That could be a whole episode theme though, if they could get Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Brosnan, Craig and Dalton (how sad I know that), what fun!
ChuckNewbie8
Indeed!

While we're at it...bond girls! I can't think of any right now though and please no Halle Berry!

Yea I'm pretty certain she is busy with Dollhouse, though she is only a recurring character. Not sure what they have in store for her in season 2 though.

And I just realized, doesn't Cole look and and act sort of like Daniel Craig. I just noticed after seeing you guys talking about getting a Bond on the show.
masseffect
Pierce would be amazing. Connery would have been cool in his prime, but alas he'd have to be like Roan speaking of which...I'd like to see Roan back.

Matt Damon as a Ring agent I think would be interesting.

Michael Ironside would be really cool to have on the show. Not as a spy necessarily (he voices Sam Fisher)

I would like to see John Laroquette, Jordana Brewster, Gary Cole, Arnold Vosloo (just because that would be a great running gag about how he just won't die smile.gif ), and Scott Bakula again.

I'd love to see Lee Pace or Anna Friel, just because I miss PD. Would love to see Dan Akroyd, I mean, come on! Some how they need to include Will Arnett, Conan O' Brien, Steve Carell, or Stephen Colbert (tongue.gif)... Any of the past Bonds. Jeff Bridges anyone? Alan Ruck biggrin.gif
I'll think of more...
ChuckNewbie8
Aww, I'm not the only one. Thanks for that! I miss PD so much.

I said earlier a Collette Barker = Anna Friel would be awesome lol.
Carinas_boyfriend
well John Larroquette and Scott Bakula have to return in a few episodes. And i want my girlfriend back on the show!!!!! (look at my name tongue.gif) She's been squeeling to get her hands on Chuck and put another twist in Charah laugh.gif
New guests, well let's say Linda Carter as Chuck's mom, maybe that blonde chick that did Ruby in Supernatural (man she was hot) as maybe a deranged stalker that decides to get Chuck for herself (LOL omg that episode would be soooooo hilarious!), and Evangeline Lily as Sarah's sister, huh?? wink.gif
Man nbc though made a number on us, 13 episodes, pretty much that's it, and it smells to me as a swan song for Chuck....bah i need to stay positive!
dung.tran97
maybe as chuck fans we can send a letter to our favorite guest star and ask them to sacrifice on their maximum price tag and guest star on an episode. that is when we decide on who? Something to think about guyz
TheLionKing
I want Rachel Bilson (Lou) to come back wub.gif not to create angst though, maybe far far far into the future when Chuck and Sarah gets married, we can get ALL of the past relationships of Sarah and Chuck to be present at the wedding. Then we can all reminisce at the journey that they took to get to where they are.

Oh and Diana Kruger is very similar looking to Yvonne, plus she's also beautiful to boot. I wouldn't mind if she was Sarah's mother, though she looks a bit young...
travis01
This is just spit ballin here but what about Randy Quaid as Chuck and Ellie's crazy uncle who is all into the whole ufo and other supernatural things. He stumbles upon and think the goverment is after him because he knows the truth.
sadiemae17
Summer Glau if you don't why figure it out

summer glau is awesome, it would be so cool if she came on the show as a undercover spy who befriends sarah.
travis01
I have another one.Jill Wagner as a nsa version of sarah ecept she falls for Casey.
Bookie63
posted this on the wrong place, but, 2 actors that come to mind:

Dan Ackroyd - Grosse Point Blank
John Lithgow - Buckaroo Banzai and 3rd Rock

Both could play former agents, or Ring baddies quite easily.
Azuremane
If we are looking at an TV guest star renisance:

Lee Majors, aka Steve Austin, The Bionic Man
Dirk Benedict, aka FACE, The A-team
Robert Vaughn, aka Man from Uncle
Robert Kulp, aka I SPY

I like the Idea of Linda Carter being Elle and Chuck's Mom. That would be a very cool guest star! Lots of Wonder Woman references could be made.

Lets face it there are hundreds and hundreds of options out there. OH THE JOY!

Bookie63
out of those hundreds, I wonder how many would do the show?
I'm old enough to remember the Laugh-In shows, as well as
Get Smart and Batman.

zorkfan
I would love to see John Malkovich play a Ring Elder...or Bill Murray.

Or Kate Jackson. She was an Angel and Mrs. King on Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Chuck reminds me of it often, but the the sexes reversed. And since you already have Bruce Boxleitner.....

Obviously great minds think alike - I was thinking that it would be a great Thanksgiving episode to have Kate Jackson, Papa B, and the Awesomes at the dinner table.

I guess since they are not putting it on in the fall it would have to be an Easter episode.
If it turned out Mama B was a spy, who finally escaped some foreign jail to return home.

Imagine a heart to heart scene between Mama B and Sarah. It could move the Sarah, Chuck relationship along.

Also with Bruce Boxleitner in the same episode of course there would have to be a line from him "Haven't we met somewhere before?"

Chuck VS the Angel - I love it.

Another guest appearance I thought would work well, would be Harry Tang. Imagine Chuck and Sarah on vacation in Hawaii to visit Morgan and Ana - they run into Tang and find out his pineapple factory is full of bad guys.

Vacation ruined they have to call in Casey - "activate" Harry Tang - "not a spy that would give it a name" - and kick ass.

We see Morgan causing all sorts of disasters at his Chef school and being banned for life. He has no choice but to return to LA.

Any thoughts?

herder
Ok how about this one, Norm MacDonald as either Jeff's brother or Casey's underacheiving brother, he could show up, hit on Sarah and Anna, annoy everybody and stumble on Chuck's identity, he already has his own cover name - Turd Ferguson.

Sad to say, they probably won't get any big name guest stars for season 3 due to budgeting issues.
