One point of clarification, Lucas and Sami's history now goes back 16 years (not 15). They met in April 1993. Sami was only 15 - Through all of the crazy things that have happened since then, Lucas has been the one constant for more than half of Sami's life. I'd say that is quite a history and the foundation of an extraordinary supercouple!
In 16 years they've had their biggest ups and their lowest lows. But no matter what it was, they were always there together. [except if one was in a coma

They do have one of the greatest love stories in Days history. 16 years in the making. That definitely sounds like a supercouple to me. They are not over, they are going to have many more years together and lots more ups and downs.

LUMI is what makes DOOL watchable to me. In the early years (I was a teen) and I saw my experiences through them (no schemes for me). After 2003 I knew they were destined to be together for a lifetime, the love they have can move mountains and it's not just about their kids. If it was Sami would have never told Lucas about Grace, especially knowing he's married to Chloe. She knows his allegiance lies with her over anyone else. Also I like the fact that of the two men that know about "Grace" Rafe doesn't know Lucas knows, so that puts LUcas a step ahead of the game and it makes for angst for the SAFE coupling. The reason I watch is to see how the writers are going to make these two come back into each others orbits and I think it is about to happen with Lucas slowly suspecting Chloe and Dan.
